For RV travelers, we have a 30AMP hookup site with water access located just behind the main house. While this site doesn’t include sewage, you’ll have access to a fully renovated communal bathroom complete with a toilet and bathtub. The sanctuary features unique spaces to inspire creativity, such as: • A peaceful on-site pond with fish. • Open fields for writing, painting, or meditating. • Large canopies for art and music activities. We also provide a selection of rentable musical instruments, including a piano, keyboard, cello, and guitar, to help bring your artistic visions to life. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the farm! Margarita and Rob were very kind and welcoming. Setting up our travel trailer was super easy. I loved meeting and learning about the animals - highland cows, mini donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. Even got to hold one of the baby goats! We'll definitely be back again and plan to get our eggs from them moving forward. Would highly recommend!

The location was awesome, we spent a day at Bok Tower, and afternoon naps on the hammocks overlooking the lake. Oh, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets over the beautiful lake. Our site was tight, but not a problem for us. Bath house was very nice.

We spent 3 nights at Quiet Pasture. I highly recommend this place. We had a fun time visiting with the Scottish Highlanders, donkeys, goats, and chickens. Margarita was very welcoming. It is obvious she cares a lot about her animals. A few goats even wondered over to us when we were outside reading. Definitely check this place out.

Hippie Haux – A Quiet Forest Spot Near the Coast Hippie Haux sits on about five acres of mixed oak forest with a few soft, rolling clearings. It’s tucked right near town but feels quiet and tucked away, and you’re only about 45 minutes from the beach. The land has a relaxed, rustic feel—simple, natural, and easy to settle into. The camping area isn’t divided into marked sites. Instead, there’s an open clearing where you can choose your own spot. There’s room for roughly 6–8 setups, so it works well for tents, car camping, vans, hammocks, and pop-ups. I also have a small trailer available to rent if you’d like something more comfortable, and there’s a raised platform you can set up on as well. You’ll find the basic comforts here: a fire pit, picnic tables, drinking water, electricity, a compost toilet, and an outdoor shower. There’s a simple communal kitchen too, plus easy parking. Fires are allowed as long as someone stays with them. Pets and kids are welcome. The land gets regular visits from deer, owls, hawks, armadillos, squirrels, and the occasional curious bunny. At night, the sky opens up enough for great stargazing. There’s a small herbal garden on site, and a yoga deck tucked under the trees for morning stretches or a quiet sit in nature. I usually have fresh farm eggs available as well. If you’re looking for something low-key, close to nature, and not overly manicured, this spot tends to be a good fit. It works for solo campers wanting some peace, families who want room for kids to explore, and anyone passing through on their way to the coast or springs. The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

The second site (near the rear of the property) is a 10x14 concrete slab with city water and a household electric service of about 13 amps. No sewage facilities for both sites, must have black water holding tanks. I recommend stopping at a truck stop and empty the black water holding tank. Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. Also, about 25 miles to the Space Center. PLEASE! Best way onto property is go west on Canaveral Groves Blvd 1/2 mi. to Alan Sheppard, left and left again at 1st. street (Atlanta St.). Back the 1/2 mi. to Knoxville Ave where the trailer/camper entrance lines up directly with Atlanta St. GPS does NOT know if you are pulling a camper/trailer...LOL!

Our farm is off the beaten path surrounded by mossy oaks and lots of shade. If you are having a rough week, load up and relax on our working farm filled with miniature horses and numerous other adorable miniature animals that will be sure to put a smile on your face. Pack your camping gear, tents, vans or RVs and find peace away from the traffic and everyday stress. There is plenty of nature and you can take a long stroll to clear your head. Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.
