The cottage is located on 4 acres, with orange flags marking the property lines. Our cabin is built near the camp site. The tiny cabin has a propane heater to make this a beautiful and cozy experience.
It is a quiet and peaceful place located 25 minutes from Cripple Creek (if you like gambling) , and 45 minutes from Woodland Park where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, rock and gem shops and more attractions typical to a tourist town.
A place to find peace, and nature with lots of wildlife, you may get a glimpse of a bear, mountain lion, fox, wild turkeys, deer, cayote. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (weather permitting), watching a beautiful night sky, in a clear sky you can spot the Milky way and some star constellations.
The place is surrounded by many tourist attractions. Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil beds with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow! Asha's retreat is located 5 minutes away from a BLM a beautiful place to enjoy a nice walk!
The terrain is rocky, we highly recommend keeping your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are in the lofts, for security reasons.
Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master.
Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban.
Hipcampers under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision.
We recommend bringing your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flush toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty.
We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it.

We offer a parking spot at night to have a quick safe place to stay. We do not allow the camper to stay multiple continuous days without leaving as you must leave during the day time, but are welcome to return at night.
---We sometimes have Buses leaving or returning to our facility late at night, so just know you might hear a large bus pulling in late at night.
---PLEASE DO NOT block our Iron Gate with the H on it, or stick out into the entrance of the facility. Property borders the Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument. Campsite is on private, beautiful, quiet 26 acres of ponderosa, spruce, fir and aspens with a wonderful view of Badger Mtn. Cripple Creek, Woodland Park and Eleven Mile Reservoir are appx 30 mins away; Breckenridge and Buena Vista about an hour; Mueller State Park and Eleven Mile Canyon being appx 15 mins away. Enjoy a game of corn hole and stargazing at your campsite. There are several Ute prayer trees on the property and Will would be happy to take you on a walking tour. Campsite equipped w/ sun shower and camp toilet. Please note, this is a tent site only with no access for camper trailers. Our tent is furnished with a queen-sized bed. An additional cot or bedding on the floor for smaller children can be provided at no extra cost. We had a wonderful stay at
Jolene’s property! She was a fantastic host and always responded to messages quickly and provided a lot of great information for the property and surrounding areas.
The views were fantastic and we felt like we had a lot of privacy and the area to ourselves, while still being an easy and quick drive to nearby Florissant, gas stations, restaurants, area attractions, etc.
The property is well maintained and includes a lot of thoughtful extras that we are not used to having on a camping trip. We really enjoyed the propane fire pit. It was very easy to use, just bring your own propane. While we didn’t sleep in the sleeping shed (we chose to sleep in our tent) we did use it as a staging/storage area for our food and supplies, which was really convenient and way better than trying to cram everything back into the car throughout our day. We will definitely be putting this spot on our list for a repeat visit next summer!

We had a nice quiet time camping there. It was off the back side of her property, away from most distractions. There was a latched gate to go through, that is required to be shut at all times. Some may find this inconvenient, but it was a small security in my mind. I have a 25’ gooseneck trailer with a camper and Bronco on it and was able to get in reasonably well. The parking area is wide open and pretty close to being level with mulch to walk on instead of dirt which was nice. I’d definitely stay there again if we are back in the area.

What a lovely experience!
We had the property all to ourselves, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like such a sweet little respite. Will was warm, kind, and very accommodating with our arrival time, which settled our anxiety with timing.
The space itself was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and clearly well cared for. There was plenty of shade, a great cooking area with everything we would need for the weekend. The tent cabin was spacious with a comfortable bed and plenty of blankets as the temp dropped to the 40's.
The next morning we went on a little hike on the property then had lunch in the shade under the trees. Our doggo was safe to explore off-leash, and unlike many other Hipcamps we've stayed at, she wasn't covered in burrs or foxtails, which is a HUGE bonus.
Will gave us a tour of the culturally modified trees on the property. It ended up being one of the highlights of the stay. He took his time explaining everything and patiently answered the many, many questions my very curious 9-year-old threw at him, sharing stories that even I was completely immersed in--be sure to ask him about the bear stuck in his garage!
Overall, we had the best time wrapping up summer at Will's cute little glamping site. We will absolutely be back.

The land is a nice open field with plenty of room to maneuver a big rig without any trouble. There’s a nice grouping of trees that provide a bit of shade. It’s very close to some area attractions like the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and the Wolf and Wildlife Center. We were glamping so we ate dinner one night at the Thunderbird Inn in Florissant and one night at McGinty’s in Divide. Highly recommend McGinty’s and the Thunderbird was also a nice local joint. The very friendly llamas on the property were a nice treat. They were very curious and even acting like shepherds for us one night, resting in the field nearby our camp.

We enjoyed the set up and accommodations at the blueberry site, the wood burning hot tub, the creek, the open campground. Daniel, the ranch hand, was very kind and helpful. The one downside was that it is right next to the road, which was a bit noisy times through out the night.

Upon my arrival I was greeted with open arms and Dan showing me the spot which I would be parked at offered to back my camper in, which of course I said yes. Between Dan and another helpful gentleman they got me parked, leveled and made me feel more than welcome. Great mature aspens surrounded me, quiet, beautiful place.

Amazing peaceful and beautiful site. It was so quiet and we were able to see some wildlife. Most notably a mama moose and her baby, a beaver, a tons of muskrat. The lake was low but we were still able to fish and our dog had a blast swimming. No phone service made for a perfect way to disconnect. Easy to find easy to maneuver and Tim was excellent to work with. We can’t wait to plan our next trip here!

This was my second time booking with Grayson at Florissant Farms, and at this point it’s quickly becoming a birthday tradition! 🥂
Just like my first stay, Grayson had everything we could possibly need and the site was comfortable, well thought-out, and such a perfect little escape. There was a fire ban during our stay, but Grayson even had a gas fire pit available so we could still enjoy that cozy nighttime-by-the-fire experience without missing a beat.
Fantastic host, fantastic property, and another wonderful birthday weekend in the books. I’ll obviously be booking again! 🌲✨

Oooooh man Dan! This is a fun, themed mini park. He showed us around and the kids (2 and 4yr olds) and other kids (me and my wife) got to see Bigfoot’s footprint. There was a bunch of wildlife that added extra fun to the trip. 10/10 would recommend. Full bathroom, hot showers, better than we hoped for!

We so enjoyed stayed at the Starlite vintage resort. It was such a unique place and so much to look at. We had our own camper and stayed in site 66 which was shaded and I felt like i was in my own world. Staff was exceptional. Close to everything in Gorge and beautiful views. Will look forward to staying there again.
