Our place is 3 miles from I-25 on a paved road with magnificent views of the snow capped continental divide including Longs Peak. Our single pull-through campsite has a picnic table and fire pit with electric (30 amp) and water hookups (there is no sewer hookup nor dump available). We have 4 acres and share the land with 2 horses, 5 goats, 2 sheep and our pet pig Maddie. Maddie is a “free range” pig who loves roaming the property and saying hello to guests. The campsite is an open space just up the hill from the barn. We regularly let the animals out to graze, therefore at anytime you might get a visit from Maddie or a goat at your front door. We are located central to Estes Park (and RMNP) , Boulder, Ft. Collins, N. Denver, Greeley, Loveland and Longmont. There is wifi available.

Sweet cabin in Old Town Nederland. Close to restaurants, brew pubs and boutiques, and located on the edge of a quiet neighborhood just a block from Boulder Creek. Ample parking for camper vans and an excellent reprieve from the backcountry or the road. Perfect for couples, friends gathering, or a small family. Whip up breakfast in the well appointed kitchen or cozy up by the fire after a long day on the slopes. World class hiking and skiing within 10 miles. Old Town is the OG Nederland neighborhood. Dozens of cabins, many over 100 years old, line the streets, along with pine, spruce and aspen trees. In summer, wildflowers grace our “lawns” and in winter we ski down the streets. Bear, moose, deer, elk, fox and coyote are our neighbors. Nederland is a mountain community at 8240 ft. elevation. Yet we are 30 minutes to Boulder and 45 to Denver. Estes Park and RMNP are 45 minutes away.

Horse ranch and nature conservation area. We have a pond you can float in and horses and mules who live here, as well as elk and pronghorn, and a bear. Dogs are welcome! We love dogs! Off leash is fine as long as they don’t chase the horses (and keep in mind that the mules do chase dogs). There is a gas firepit and a gas grill, sitting areas, a port a potty. There is a flat graded area for tents with a picnic table. We ask that there are no fires except for gas (we are still traumatized by the East Troublesome Fire that was 200,000 plus acres. We did not burn here and we’d like to keep it that way. We also ask that there is no loud music because this is the wild animals’ home first, and the antelope and elk have new babies. We are very close to Granby for the grocery store, restaurants, and the Granby Flying Heels Rodeo. We are nearby to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, Lake Granby and Fraser/Winter Park and all that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Also close by is Granby Ranch for downhill mountain biking and golf. We are about two hours from Denver. If you want to camp but don’t want to be stuck in a crowded campground with noisy neighbors, we’d love to have you! I am so grateful that Eric is sharing a bit of his heaven. I grew up on a small farm in Poland , so sounds of chickens , or goats , is something I am used to. Maggie (the pig) visited us in the morning , sadly we missed her, so she decided to leave a little souvenir 💩 in front of the stairs to show she was there 😂 That made me laugh so hard, and again brought back the memories , when I was on poop scooping duty 😂 you stay on a farm , so be prepared for that kind of thing and do not complain. I personally loved everything about this property, and I can also easily say that I made friends with horses. Couldn’t stop petting the goats , and simply enjoying the simplicity of that kind of life. I totally recommend this place for those who appreciate farm living!

Affordable, quiet, and stunning sunsets! The horses were SO SWEET, we miss them already. Host Eric is very attentive and replies quickly to anything you need. We didnt use the firepit, but it was such a nice touch to the campsite. Be sure to bring a fly swatter and extra rags if it rains (for the mud.) Would DEFINITELY return!

This is such a good location to pop into Fort Collins. 10-20min from anything and everything — old town, breweries, parks, stores. Their farm where you stay is adorable. I chose the spot looking out over the horse and pony pen. My doggie loved seeing the bunnies and chickens too. And on top of it all Vicki is one of the kindest / coolest individuals I’ve ever met. Would 1000% recommend.

Right by a river, and a road but it was not noisy for us in a camper van. Porta potty on site. General store down the road but does not open until 9am in September so we didn’t get to go. Scenic drive leading up to the site. We had no cell service so prepare ahead of time!

Nice spot and the horses were hilarious. The small one literally had his head in the feed bucket for the 2 hours before I went to bed and the one hour in the morning before I left. His tail wagging the whole time. At times, the road noise was heard, but not a big deal. Will be back.

I loved camping on this site with some friends! We had 10 total people and it was the perfect size for our group. Easy to find and only 15 minutes from Lake Estes. The picnic table, trash receptacle, and port a potty made our load light for our one night of camping. Heidi was responsive and detailed, and has a great spot with the river. As far as noise, we only heard a few cars pass by when in our tents that weren’t a real bother, but the sound of the water was peaceful to fall asleep to. Listen to the cinnamon bun advice! We wanted more than 6 buns so we had to order the day before (definitely do!). We enjoyed being right by town to walk to grab any last minute needs. Next time I would love to dine at the bed & breakfast in town for dinner. Overall, Heidi was a superhost for us!
