Tiny Woodsy Cabin

2 sites · Lodging5 acres · Drake, Larimer
I purchased this land a few years ago with the dream of building a cabin in the woods with my kids for all of us to enjoy nature together.  With the help of my kids and friends, we built this tiny cabin (119sq ft) with a lot of love, laughter, tears and even some blood shed.  It embodies a journey for my family in coming together to enjoy nature and overcome many unknowns.  It is a representation of our growth, our love and our creativity and I am eager to share it with other nature lovers!  It is a work in progress, still, and we hope to add more fun features as time goes on.  Thank you!  Please enjoy it as we do!

Agritourism. Farmland west of Berthoud, Colorado, usually planted in corn. We enjoy an ever-changing view of the Rocky Mountain front range, with Longs Peak being most prominent. There is a historic barn on the property (not near the camping site) and lots of places to go for a walk. Beautiful views of Longs Peak and the Rocky Mountains. 7 miles to Carter Lake, 33 miles to Estes Park, 20 miles to Fort Collins, 27 miles to Boulder. Our home is completely off the grid, so there is no extra power or water. Tents are welcome, as well as RVs, pickups, vans, and cars. Rustic. NO OPEN FIRES Site #1 is on the edge of a hayfield. It has a picnic table. It can accommodate vehicles or tents. Limited shade at this site. Site #2 is on the far west edge of the hayfield. It also has a picnic table and chairs. ***We are not able to offer refunds for bad weather. The weather in Colorado can change hourly. ***This is a working farm with trucks and tractors coming and going and pivot irrigation systems turning on and off during growing season. ***Dogs must be kept on a leash when other campers are present. We are 15 minutes from Longmont, 8 minutes from Loveland, 45+ minutes to Estes Park (depending on traffic). We are about 12-15 minutes off of I-25 and about 1 mile from Hwy 287.

Neighborhood Campground

4 sites · RVs1 acre · Lafayette, Boulder
This suburban campground is conveniently located along US 287 close to Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Erie, and Louisville. The neighborhood is a quiet and charming area with the feel of a much more rural area. Each campsite features a flat turf pad camp area to set up table, chairs, etc and plenty of room to pull in your car, van, or other camping vehicle. We offer standard 110 (20 amp) electrical plugs at each site. If your rig pulls more than 20 amps you are likely to trip the breaker. There is access to fresh, potable water on the property, but not at each site, so plan to fill your tanks with this. Gated access with a complete fence provides privacy and security. Nearby Erie and Lafayette are within biking distance. This campground is located in a residential neighborhood and we ask that campers are respectful of noise levels. No fires permitted. There is a barn located on the property within the campsite, which is located behind a residential home, but separated by a 6 foot privacy fence.

Heart Stone Farm

3 sites · RVs, Tents15 acres · Lyons, Larimer
Heart Stone Farm is a working, small family farm. We have 15 acres on the Little Thompson river just outside of Lyons Colorado. We are close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Boulder and Longmont are just a quick 20 minute drive. We currently offer two sites for tent, car, or RV camping or a furnished fifth wheel with drinking water access, electricity access, a toilet, a nice trail to the river, fresh eggs and veggies for purchase for a nice breakfast or dinner, and our neighborhood sees a lot of cyclists exploring the area. You will definitely hear all of the farm sounds…turkeys, chickens, roosters, goats, donkeys, geese, ducks, and pigs. We do have three super friendly dogs who may visit you but we try to keep them close to home. But, it’s a working farm and they are working dogs who navigate all 15 acres of our property. That being said, if you bring your own furry loved one, we ask that they are good with other dogs and animals. If they are not, please leave them at home. We also cannot guarantee that our other farm animals will always stay in their enclosures and might find their way to your camp. Think of it as camping in the woods with the occasional bear or skunk… Our farm is a beautiful work in progress, not a Pinterest photo op, so there are materials around and tractors and machines doing work but we will always respect quiet evening and morning times. When mapping your way, Google Maps is the only accurate map, using your vehicle’s GPS or Apple Maps will take you on an adventure! You will not get cell service once you get out of town but we will give you access to the wifi in the barn so you can use wifi calling if needed. It can get windy here on occasion so come prepared. If there is anything you need or forgot, please don’t hesitate to ask. If you want recommendations for things to do or places to go, we are happy to help! The town of Lyons is small but offers a small market with fresh sandwiches, a butcher, and bakery. There are a few coffee shops and good restaurants. Planet Bluegrass has an amazing venue nearby and our property would make a great home base for your festival/concert adventures.
