What a sweet property with sweet hosts! There are several places to rest and relax on the property. My favorite was next to a water fountain. There are so many treasures about, endless details to admire and enjoy. We picked goji berries and strawberries to add to our breakfast as well as herbs for accenting our dinner. Jeff's property is spectacular. This is the third time we have stayed at one of his properties and each time we have had a memorable time! It is very secluded, directions to the property are great, and everything is as advertised. The mattresses were more comfortable than expected for a place in the woods. It is so nice to be off the grid but also have a roof over your head and not have to worry about your tent getting wet if it rains. There is a lot to explore. We will absolutely be back!

Weekend Trip to Phantom Canyon Acres

Beautiful place nestled in a mature aspen grove. We had a wonderful time The appliances seemed brand new, and some things are still being dialed in, but this is not a typical cabin. It is indeed cozy--and quite spacious at the same time. The front and back decks are amazing--we spent equal time on each. The property connects directly with public land--this offers the opportunity for greater exploration. Everything is uphill, but it is doable with a bit of effort. We climbed the 1000+ feet to the top of the mountain west of the property for stunning views of the Victor mine and Pikes Peak. Cell service was available quite a bit lower. Jeff, the host, was responsive and super accommodating. We'll be back!

We had a great time on Lenna’s land. The tent is awesome and the cots are comfortable. The outhouse was literally the cleanest I’ve ever been in 😂 They provided plenty of wood, which was a fantastic treat. We were appreciative that the cooler was full of water and there was bug spray and sunscreen on site. These were all nice amenities! There were tons of options for cooking including a gas grill and two burners, as well as pots/pans, silverware, plates and all the standards. There are solar lights all over the camp which provide the best ambiance and ease at night, as well as solar lanterns provided to easily wander around with. The creek was a huge highlight and we went for several soaks and getting our feet wet. Plus it just sounds amazing! And let me tell you about the stars out here!! If you like star gazing and want to teach the kids about constellations, this is the place. I was blown away by the night sky out here! When booking, I didn’t know that we’d be so close to Westcliffe- which is a dark sky area. On that note- this listing says it’s in Rye, but it’s actually Gardner, CO if you are mapping it out. Be prepared that there are 15 miles of gravel road to access this area and the closest place for supplies is 40min out- so come ready. I also wanted to mention that Lenna is communicative and was quick to answer questions. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and would return!

The RV was well cleaned and clearly the owners care about giving campers a great experience. The theming was a great touch but not over the top by any means. Would recommend!!

Weekend Trip to Monument Creek Glamping

We had a great trip great trip the weather was good even the storm the last night did not lessen the good time. When we needed a new tank of propane it was brought real quick. The stream was not good for fishing, but the beavers and geese were great to watch while I took in nature and let the stress from work go. Even my dog Abby enjoyed a short dip there. I have already told friends at work it’s a great place to go. Thanks again Chris and Wendy. Don, Kim and Abby…

2 nights at Turkey Creek Ranch

Nice spot, very quiet. Tent was spacious and the wood stove inside was great. Appreciated the gas stove and the cooking gear. Convenient to Mission Wolf, a sanctuary for wolves and wolf hybrids (40 minute drive).
