Truly a magical place! The aspens were beautiful, the site was quiet and peaceful and the tent was super comfortable and well stocked. Mollie was so helpful and checked in on us.

Quaking Aspens Campsite- For Kids!
My 3 kids (10-16) and I had such a lovely time. They loved the zip line and the net tunnel thing and made obstacle courses and had such a blast having it all to themselves. I loved all the details that made it comfortable!

We loved this camping spot. We have 5 boys under 12 and it was the perfect spot to let them be boys and play! Every little detail was so thought out. Mollie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. Would highly recommend!

Quaking Aspens Campsite- For Kids!
Absolutely adored our time at this campsite. The accomodations were great and lots of warm blankets & duvets. Our children had a blast playing in all the play structures on the property - zip line, trampoline and the tent swing were our faves. Good size fire pit (with a small swinging grill), large propane BBQ grill and 3 burner propane stove so space for cooking was ample. The space felt quiet and isolated with easy access to lots of great hikes and nature to explore nearby.
Honestly the walk to and from the parking spot is not a huge deal if you are worried about it, though it is a small hill. The wagons help a ton!
Mollie was a fantastic host who was easy to work with and very responsive.
We will be back for sure!

We just got back from the most incredible stay at this tent campsite, and we can’t stop talking about it! From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully prepared and so well-stocked. We didn’t need to worry about a thing. It made traveling with kids so much easier and more enjoyable.
The campsite itself was magical. Our kids had the time of their lives exploring, playing, and experiencing the outdoors in such a safe and comfortable setting. The zip line was an absolute hit, and the multiple playgrounds kept them entertained for hours. It truly felt like a little outdoor wonderland for families.
Every little detail, from the cozy sleeping setup to the charming outdoor kitchen, was perfect. It felt like a dream getaway.
And Mollie, where do we even begin? She is hands-down the best host we’ve ever encountered. Warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, she made sure our experience was unforgettable. You can tell how much heart and care she puts into this space.
If you’re thinking about booking this place do it!! Whether you’re traveling with kids or just looking to disconnect and relax, this is the spot. We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Camping at 10,000 was something we had never done before. It was a beautiful site and the Aspen trees were just beginning to open.
Mollie’s “glamping” tent had everything we needed, including enough beds for all 7 of us, games and an outdoor kitchen. Our grandkids loved being able to climb, swing and zip line on the play equipment.
Mollie was very responsive to our needs and even sent a photo of her newly rescued dog. For an outdoor adventure with a few comforts of home, I’d recommend checking out this HipCamp site.

We had an amazing time at Quaking Aspens! The camp itself is gorgeous and they have done an incredible job making sure it has everything you and the family will need. Plenty of activities for the kids and all of the equipment you need for a cozy stay. The site is quiet and private and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a family trip. Thank you, Mollie!

Quaking Aspens Campsite- For Kids!
Such a beautiful campsite! Literally had everything that you would want/need. Very responsive host. We were a group of adults but I can just imagine how much of a hit this would be for kids with all the fun play equipment (zip line, trampoline, etc) on the site. Still soooo fun for a group of young adults though! Can't wait to return!

Quaking Aspens Campsite- For Kids!
This place was amazing! It had all you needed to enjoy the stay without worry. Our 6 year old had a blast. We did not have cell service at all, which made the stay even better. We got to unwind, enjoy some smores and actually be in nature. We will definitely visit again.

Great campsite! Kids really enjoyed the zip line and playground equipment. Tent was clean. Outdoor kitchen was easy to use, with full stocked kitchen utensils/plates/etc. Outhouse also was clean. Would stay again. Thing I didn't consider was the elevation and how cold it would get at night even in July, however there were blankets under the beds available which was great.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We had the best time. The host thought of every detail and has a very informative instruction booklet. We felt very secluded and loved the property. The tent was incredible. We will be back !!!

Great for a family with little ones! We stayed here two nights with our 1 and 3 year olds for their first time “camping” (I say it in quotes because it’s almost glamping!) the place is clean, comfortable, lots of activities for kids, beautiful scenery and was stocked with everything you need! The only things you need to pack are:
-clothes/ toiletries
-food
-drinking water
-gray water (washing dishes, putting out fire)
-speaker
-portable chargers
-pillows/blankets/sleeping bags
-special activities/games (there are cards and board games there)
The only challenge is the parking is not right next to the site, and it is a steep hill. They provide you with two wagons to help but it is quite hard to take all your things back up the hill when you leave to be prepared!
Such a great experience and super easy to get to. Mollie was also very communicative and provided great information.

Quaking Aspens Campsite- For Kids!
We really enjoyed staying at Quaking Aspens! The camp was very family friendly and we really appreciated how well lit the pathways and tent were at night.
The campsite felt private and peaceful and the kids had a blast on the playground.
The host, Mollie, was great and clearly has put a lot of work and thought into making the campsite a fun, well-equipped place to stay.

Had a great experience at Quaking Aspen campsite. It truly had everything we needed. The tent was in excellent condition and was extremely comfortable. We had easy access to a mine tour, a wolf sanctuary, hiking, and biking. Thank you for providing this wonderful site where my boys and I made some wonderful memories. Mollie was very responsive - excellent host!

Quaking Aspens Campsite- For Kids!
Everything was spectacular! We stayed for a weekend getaway and enjoyed the beautiful aspens and the proximity to so many attractions! We felt quite comfortable and the kids LOVED all of the outdoor play structures. The property was well maintained, clean, and had virtually everything you could possibly need while camping.

My family and I loved Quaking Aspens! Mollie thought of just about every detail we might need for our stay! The best part was how quiet and private the camp was with loads of fun activities for our daughter to enjoy! The tent was gorgeous and very comfortable! We also had our small dog with us and the tree-to-tree leash run was very helpful and enjoyable!
couple of tips:
- Properly storing your food and removing trash is no joke! It's bear country and we had a visitor the first night!
- Don't expect to drive up to the tent. You have to unload your stuff at the top of a short hill when you arrive and leave your car there. We didn't mind it so much, plus they provided a small wheeled cart to take your luggage down the hill in.
- We probably didn't need to bring as much stuff as we did (you never know) but they really did have plenty of stuff to cook with, grill, camp stove, extra bedding, games, and plenty of propane. It's a very well stocked site!

This is the best campsite we have ever stayed. The views were beautiful, and directions were clear. They provide everything you need, they even have a first aid kit and many other essentials. My kiddos had a great time in the trampoline and in the zip line. You are surrounded by so much nature, which is what we were looking for. You do need to park your vehicle about 100 feet from the campsite, but they provide you with wagons. There is a small town nearby named cripple Creek where you can go and take a train ride, eat ice cream, have local shops and more. I recommend you stay here especially if you have children!

This place has everything. It’s private and laid out perfectly. No need to bring plates or cooking utensil, they have it. Paper towels and firewood, they have it. Ninja obstacle course and zip line, they have that too. Great for families, would highly recommend
