What a sweet property with sweet hosts!
There are several places to rest and relax on the property. My favorite was next to a water fountain. There are so many treasures about, endless details to admire and enjoy. We picked goji berries and strawberries to add to our breakfast as well as herbs for accenting our dinner.
Our stay was relaxing, cozy and quiet. Mari and Dave have done an amazing job creating this herbal retreat. Would stay again. Thank you! 🙏✨️🍀 🌸

Mari and Dave were wonderful hosts. The space is welcoming and beautiful, with an amazing, lush greenhouse garden. We were so comfortable and felt very welcomed in their space. Spending the morning on the back patio in the greenhouse was incredibly peaceful. We would definitely book here again!

Everything is magical about Mari’s place - as well as comfortable, super clean and beautifully artistic. With no hesitation I would visit again. We left feeing relaxed and rejuvenated.

Overall this is a lovely little place to sleep and rest in between other destinations. Unfortunately it did not have the 'acres' of 'green' space to roam that we interpreted we could walk around on from the listing's name and photos.

I really enjoyed the uniqueness of this site. Also enjoyed the tour through the greenhouse and learning about herbs and other beneficial plants. It was a good value. Comfortable bed with convenient set up.

Mari’s space was the perfect mountain getaway if you’re a nature lover, but still like some access to typical creature comforts. It is far enough away from cities to have excellent visibility for star gazing, but close enough to nearby towns to have access to grocery stores and restaurants. It is also conveniently located for many hiking and nature destinations, or going into Colorado Springs, or other nearby towns for the day.
The space itself has everything you could possibly need, and the greenhouse, herb shop, and classroom are such unique features that we couldn’t get enough of. Mari is an exceptional host, and she has created the most comforting and inviting space.

There are no words to express how truly magical this stay was. Not only was it the most peaceful weekend ever, but the knowledge of Mari and Dave will stay with us forever. They are masters at what they do, and I only wish we lived closer because we would absolutely love to frequent here and just learn as much as humanly possible. If you are interested in herbology, even slightly, please book this stay and open yourself to the possibilities of our beautiful and bountiful planet.

Mari and Dave were incredible hosts! The space was so clean and inviting, we really felt right at home when we walked in. They brought us fresh picked strawberries from the greenhouse for us to snack on as we got settled in. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it truly was a slice of paradise. We made our dinner with herbs and veggies from the garden, which was such a fun experience. The big tub was just perfect, and the bed was so comfy! The view of the night sky from the front porch was unlike anything we had ever experienced! When we left, we got to learn so much from Mari. These two are just amazing people and we feel so lucky to have gotten a chance to stay with them in their lovely space! We absolutely will come back!

We had such a lovely stay here. Mari and David are such kind and generous people. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needs. Mari and David gave us a tour around the beautiful greenhouse and upon returning from dinner, we found fresh bowl of strawberries waiting by our door. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our weekend getaway. Thank you to Mari and David for opening their home to us.

We loved our stay at Green Acres Herbal Retreat! Mari and Dave gave a wonderful tour when we arrived. We were impressed from the entrance to the greenhouse, to the schoolhouse, and the herb shop! the bathroom was clean and there is a large tub for anyone wanting a nice soak. We picked fruits and veggies from the greenhouse as well as hung out on the front porch watching the sun set. This is such a fun, unique place to stay - we will absolutely be coming back!!

My husband and I cannot recommend this lovely space enough.... It's cozy, well-decorated, and with all the amenities you could need! Don't even get me started on how amazing it feels to walk from your door and down the steps into a beautiful, well-kept garden, and then get to learn about all of the plants' healing properties through touch and taste. We stayed very briefly, but a longer stay is needed to truly enjoy this gem. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Mari and Dave have a tremendously welcoming environment and have a wealth of knowledge about the land and plant life - just really interesting and lovely. What a magical space Mari and Dave have curated for their guests. It was an absolute treat to wake up every morning and spend time surrounded all the beautiful plants. We even had fresh strawberries waiting for us one morning, picked straight from the garden.
Couldn't recommend staying here enough. Left with an absolutely full cup!

You can feel the love and care put into this space. There are so many beautiful plants and I woke to the sound of wind in the aspens every morning. I relaxed and learned so much while there. The spot is easy to find and get to but remote enough it's the perfect escape from city chaos. I will be returning very soon.

We absolutely love Mari and David! They were so accommodating, and showed us around the greenhouse. They pointed out all the things ready to eat, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re wondering, yes this is an apartment in a greenhouse and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened! A literal oasis.

Me and my love were not expecting the experience we had staying over and learning about different edible plants and remedy's. You will not meet these type of chill people anywhere else. Highly recommended for people who would like to know more about alternative to the Western medicine

THIS PLACE IS SO COOL! If you are looking for a super unique retreat, you must stay here! Mari and Dave are the sweetest most amazing people, and I was able to cook the most amazing meals from the veggies and herbs in their greenhouse. My partner and I saw bees and hummingbirds from right outside the door! This stay is completely magical and the perfect place for anyone in love with nature, plants, and beautiful vibes.

This is a great place to get away. We loved having a giant greenhouse right off of our room. Room was cozy with little kitchen and a bathroom next to it. The bathtub is short but deep - perfect for a deeper than usual soak. Mari and Dave were great hosts - friendly and responsive, and gave us some great recommendations for getting into nature. We enjoyed spending time by the river at 11 Mile Canyon - a 10 min drive away.

We LOVED staying in this cozy space. Everything about our stay was so lovely. The greenhouse and herb shop felt so sacred and we enjoyed the wisdom of plant medicine that Mari shared with us when we arrived. She was accommodating and generous and her presence was very warm. We only wish we would have been able to spend more time learning from her. Thank you Mari and Dave for creating such a lovely space. 🤍
