My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you.
I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site.
Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses.
We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray.
We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails.
There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking.
There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

Please note that each additional car admits four campers. For EXAMPLE, 2 cars = 8 campers total. If you only have two cars but more than eight people, YOU MUST select the "Extra Person" Extra for each night they are camping. Please select these extras at checkout. Our 95-acre farm was once owned by the Davis family who predominantly raised dairy cattle. We now raise the wooly Mangalitsa pig and sell to the best chefs and restaurants. We sell our pork at the farm too!
All of our campsites are next to running water except the two hilltop sites.
Two porta-potties are on the farm and private porta-potties are available for rent. Groups of eight or more are required to rent a porta potty should you not bring your own toilet system with you. We do not allow the use of our small wooded areas as toilets. No porta potties are provided b/tw Dec 15 and March 15

We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm!
Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours.
The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries.

Our 100 acres was originally a camp built by the Civilian Conservation Corp in the "30s and early '40s, then a boys' juvenile detention center and Big Brothers'/Big Sisters' camp, which closed in 2009. The tent sites and cabins are in the forest, away from the buildings out front, but you're free to walk around and check out the historic site. Most of the buildings out front are artist studios (currently for 16 artists). We like to share the camp with others and watch it come back to life.
All within a short driving distance are the Natural Bridge, wineries, breweries, Natural Bridge Zoo, Safari Park, Dinosaur Kingdom, Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway, James River, historic Lexington, Devil's Marbleyard, Glenwood Horse Trail, swimming holes, etc. We have river access 2 miles up the road if you'd like to fish or put your kayak or canoe in. Truly, there is something nearby for everyone. We'd be happy to give you recommendations of things to see and do. If you are a star gazer you won't be disappointed by our dark sky.
We want to share our property with those who want to stay for more than one night, so we do not accept inquiries of single night stays. We also don't offer longterm rentals as we focus on short term camping.

My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you.
I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site.
Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses.
We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray.
We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails.
There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking.
There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

PLEASE NOTE, our rate is based on the number of vehicles in your group. The first vehicle is included in the nightly rate and admits 4 campers. WE CHARGE FOR ADDITIONAL CARS. The charge will be added to your booking once you select the number of vehicles at checkout.
Please note that each additional car admits four campers. For EXAMPLE, 2 cars = 8 campers total. If you only have two cars but more than eight people, YOU MUST select the "Extra Person" Extra for each night they are camping. Please select these extras at checkout. Our 95-acre farm was once owned by the Davis family who predominantly raised dairy cattle. We now raise the wooly Mangalitsa pig and sell to the best chefs and restaurants. We sell our pork at the farm too!
All of our campsites are next to running water except the two hilltop sites.
Two porta-potties are on the farm and private porta-potties are available for rent. Groups of eight or more are required to rent a porta potty should you not bring your own toilet system with you. We do not allow the use of our small wooded areas as toilets. No porta potties are provided b/tw Dec 15 and March 15

We do not allow RVs or trailers on our main farm due to our narrow mountain driveway. Wisteria Camp has a private driveway, it can accommodate small RV/Trailers. Camper vans are welcome at the main farm!
Our farm store includes our Animal Welfare Approved products such as Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Lamb and Dairy, as well as produce, jams, coffee and other items from our local community. We offer camping essentials, local art, bike rentals, farm experiences and tours.
The property has miles of trails along mountain spring-fed streams, a small pond and access to three private acres on the Robinson River, a stocked Trout stream, just 2 miles down the road. Our property is centrally located to White Oak Canyon (20 minutes) and Old Rag Mountain (10 minutes) trailheads in the Shenandoah National Park as well as many vineyards and breweries.

Many of the sites border Elk Creek. Our RV sites are large, flat and at the edge of the forest in a well kept open green space.
Our 100 acres was originally a camp built by the Civilian Conservation Corp in the "30s and early '40s, then a boys' juvenile detention center and Big Brothers'/Big Sisters' camp, which closed in 2009. The tent sites and cabins are in the forest, away from the buildings out front, but you're free to walk around and check out the historic site. Most of the buildings out front are artist studios (currently for 16 artists). We like to share the camp with others and watch it come back to life.
All within a short driving distance are the Natural Bridge, wineries, breweries, Natural Bridge Zoo, Safari Park, Dinosaur Kingdom, Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway, James River, historic Lexington, Devil's Marbleyard, Glenwood Horse Trail, swimming holes, etc. We have river access 2 miles up the road if you'd like to fish or put your kayak or canoe in. Truly, there is something nearby for everyone. We'd be happy to give you recommendations of things to see and do. If you are a star gazer you won't be disappointed by our dark sky.
We want to share our property with those who want to stay for more than one night, so we do not accept inquiries of single night stays. We also don't offer longterm rentals as we focus on short term camping.

Incredible! Surrounding trails and transport were perfect. Beautiful area and Jim was generous and kind. He made sure we were taken care of and was practically on call with an immediate response the whole time we were there. He offered us rides to get food when we didnt have a car and helped get us home off the mountain safely. Beautiful human being. What a special place! There was a campfire set-up and we just needed to light a match when we arrived. We stayed in Cabin 2, and I'd say all the cabins are about equal in terms of privacy/proximity. The heated mattress pad has two controllers (woohoo!). There's a small, heated community room if you need to warm up, or want a warm space to make coffee (tools for french press, pour-over, and coffee maker available). There is a place to store food, a couple of refrigerators, a few small BBQs, a 2-burner propane stove, and a small supply of pots/pans. There are short hikes and longer hikes through the forest right from camp, which feels luxurious. This is basic, old-school, feel-good glamping, in a great location, with attentive hosts. It was perfect.

Weekend Trip to Baby Banana Slug Farm
Second time here and brought my friends and we booked all the cabins. It was an awesome experience together. The kitchen was upgraded a bit and it was so nice to cook and serve ourselves in there. Nate was really nice to allow us all I have a fire. Got us all the wood chopped and ready for us. The shower felt hotter this time and was so very nice. We saw a baby banana slug and bigger ones all over!

We are very happy with how our weekend at Tanglewood Creekside went!! The tent/cabin was very clean, fresh & spacious. Plenty of room for our food, bags & our dog. We are very eager to see how/when the bathhouses open & our only other complaint was that the creek access points at each campsite could be better maintained (very steep, we just wish that there were some logs or stones to make it easier to get in & out) & that the walk down to the fire pit was better constructed! (Same notes as above, some gravel steps or stepping stones to get down would have made it much more enjoyable!)
Otherwise we had a lovely, relaxing weekend. The generators were so nice to utilize and the porch chairs were so nice that we are now planning on getting some for our home!! We absolutely will be back.

We had a great weekend at this site. The campground is large enough to have privacy and is easy to find. If you’re looking for serious isolation in nature this might not be the place for you, but if you want a pleasant with convenient access it’s ideal. Very family friendly. Blair was prompt and helpful. The tent/cabin is awesome. Loved sleeping on a decent mattress!

We loved staying in the Adobe at Camp Saguero! It was such a comfortable and cute place to stay. The bathrooms and showers were very close by and were kept extremely clean. We also appreciated having a dishwashing station, potable water, and camp chairs and a fire pit provided.
Our two girls had a great time playing the yard games like cornhole and ladder ball. The Adobe itself was really fun and made for a truly unique stay.
The camp hosts were incredibly helpful. We arrived late at night and had trouble finding the campground, and they stayed on the phone with us until we arrived safely, which we really appreciated.
The camp store was adorable as well—we were able to get ice and browse some fun, unique handmade souvenirs.
We only wish we could have stayed longer!

1 night at Sparrow Bend River Retreat
We loved staying at the Scamp! It’s so adorable and it was equip with everything we could have needed. The host provided very detailed directions and there are labels all over making it easy to find things.
The little porch built off of it is a perfect place to view the stars and the beautiful river. There are many birds, deer, and we even had an armadillo walk right by. The dogs around the area can be pretty vocal, but inside the camper we barley heard them.

The lighting is magical and warm, and the property is a little oasis in these rocky rolling hills of Practically Mexico, California. Huge trees and a creek! Very special place. The residents here are all very friendly but also respect your space. Definitely staying here again for my next staycation!

My family had a wonderful time at the Baby Banana Slug Farm. The host was friendly and communicative, and the grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the Sunshine cabin which was cozy and accommodating for our little family.

1 night at Dos Rios - Hill Country Adventure
Great property! Stayed at Jupe 40 and it was a nice view of the river by day and the stars at night.
Colin was a genuine host and easily reached. Greg at the park entrance made sure we had a good stay. Will be back!
HEADS UP* Mason county is and has been under a burn ban for a long time so don’t plan on having a campfire! Bring charcoal.
