Clear Lake Campground is a small, vintage RV and tent campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground offers fishing, kayaking, and boating right from Camp. A car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach.
The park offers rustic charm with great fishing and bird watching right from your campsite. We have a boat launch for your kayak, canoe or motor boat and we have canoe and kayak rentals. Cool off in the small pool. Challenge your family to a ping pong tournament or corn toss game.
Lake County guests enjoy stunning vistas, world-class wines, the largest freshwater lake in California, the cleanest air in the US and endless outdoor activities. Activities include fishing, birding, kayaking, biking, hiking and wine tasting. Our staff have been trained as tourism ambassadors and can help you make the most of your vacation.
Travel trailers, campers, tents and RVs are all welcome. Most sites include water, sewer and 30 amp electric. Limited wifi. Campsites are hard packed dirt. We also have 3 partially-furnished canvas bell tents to make your stay even easier!
Please note, our small vintage campground is best suited to smaller trailers and motor coaches. Sites range from 25-40 feet long and 18-24 feet wide. Please plan accordingly.

We welcome your interest in veganic garden and diet, orchards, and forest trails. Our organic vegetables and fruit may be available if you wish to bring some of our farm to your table.
We can offer you a quiet and peaceful place without social pressures if you wish to "decompress" from city life, jobs or any stressful times. Or come to the communal fire near the bathhouse for sharing some time with family and the few other campers that may be there. Bringing your own wood is welcome.
The coastal bike and hike trails are many. From South of Ft Bragg to the Sand Dunes near Ward Ave. you can travel over 7 miles one way and go down to quiet little beach coves along the way.
Meadow Farm is a nonprofit 501c3 with goals of coastal food security, disaster preparation and sheltering, carbon sequestering and forest restoration. We offer native plant tours on or off site with advance notice.
We like our dog companions! Two McNab collies, Moxie and Shama live here and may bark at first...still very friendly and social with people and other dogs.. There are several dog friendly off-leash areas such as, Noyo North Harbor Beach, Seaside Beach and dog parks in both Ft Bragg and Mendocino. Our farm is dog friendly tho we wish pets to be kept close, must be neutered and friendly to other dogs and people. Please be sure to bury or bag the waste.
Speaking of waste, Meadow Farm strives to reduce waste by avoiding plastic as much as possible, recycling what we can and composting our veggie scraps.
Please bring your own waste receptacles and take them along when you go. We take ours to the Caspar Transfer Station which is open Saturday through Wednesday... the location and hours can be found online.
Our water is from a deep well and we periodically test it for bacteria. It is cold and delicious. Our irrigation pipes that have spigots and hoses at each camp are safe for drinking, cooking and cleaning
Our solar pump moves water into storage tanks that provide all the water to the farm. It is very important that the water valves on your camp spigot is turned off (gently please) to avoid losing 2500 gallons of water in a short time.
If you see a leak or break in a line please contact us immediately. There are also water shut offs for the camps on the west side of the Farm House if you are unable to reach us right away..
When doing dishes we request that you use the strainer to catch food particles from the dish water and toss them in your trash or compost bucket. If you have vegetable waste let us know and we can pick them up for adding to the worm bins or composting piles. We make worm "tea" fertilizer and rich soil from these offerings. No animal products or oil please... a few egg shells are okay.
We do have the usual wildlife though we haven't had problems with them. Ravens will raid your camp if food or bags are left out while you are away.
From dusk to dawn keep children and pets close. We coexist well here with the critters...and glad to have them.

Located in Dos Rios California! Where the Eel flows North 70 miles creating a river vortex that returns back to the river confluence. A rarity in the Northern hemisphere. An awesome location for a mountain retreat with excellent views from camp as well as views of the lovely Eel River from the top of the property. Easily accessible from Hwy 101 only 13 miles along the Covelo Road Hwy 162 to Dos Rios. Where the Eel and Russian rivers converge. From Dos Rios and the River it is a 2 mile scenic drive along the Dos Rios Laytonville Road to the property., The entry is right off the main Road.
The road continues on and makes a northbound loop and meets the Hwy 101 at Laytonville. The road is well maintained and any vehicle can travel the 9 mile trip which takes about 30 minutes driving moderately.
This area offers great mountain biking, days on the river, hikes along the new designated state hiking trail along the Dos Rios railroad tracks.
Trips to the Mendocino National Forest, bird watching and wildlife in general to see, there are many indigenous species in this microclimate of two rivers.
Many backroads and adventures to travel and have.
Currently able to host two large sites and up to 10 visitors. The Eel River is only five minutes down the road with dozens of glorious swimming holes.

Quiet spot for the RV. Easily fit our 25 foot airstream but disconnected the truck. Nice paved bike trail along the coast right next to Glass Beach.
Visited the Schnaubelt Distillery and enjoyed a flight of their liquor and cocktails!

Nice site for a medium-sized tent. A larger tent wouldn’t fit unless placed in the parking area. No trees suitable for a hammock, so I had to hang mine across the path outside the campsite.
The access road is covered in fine powdery dust that kicks up easily—could be an issue on windy days.
The biggest downside was the lack of non-potable water. I knew there was no drinking water, but expected access to water for washing and cleaning.
The site itself is spacious, quiet, and clean. The outhouse is shared with one other campsite and was well maintained.
Convenient location, close to town.
Overall, a good experience.

We were fortunate to be the only guests our first night. We were in Campsite 1 and it was clean, peaceful and fairly private, surrounded by trees and bushes. Lots of firewood was located at each site and made for nice campfires each evening.
Pit toilets were very clean and hardly smelled (probably due to the ample wood shavings available to cover…). Close enough to Mendocino to easily ride our bikes into town.

It’s eclectic! Built in the 50s, this place has that retro charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard. My 20-year-old son, my soul-dog, and I spent Labor Day weekend here, and that little dipping pool was a total lifesaver in the brutal heat.
We brought our trusty popup camper from the 90s (no AC—she’s a vintage gal), so we went full MacGyver with a shade cover, a napping pad, and two “box” fans. Worked like a charm for a solid nap. When we weren’t pretending to be human popsicles, we played ping pong, cornhole, and enjoyed the slower pace. Walmart, gas, and food right across the street made it super convenient.
The highway is close, but it didn’t bother us at all—kind of like grown-up white noise. I’m also terrified of the dark, but here it felt just right: dark enough for an insane star show, but not so dark I thought Bigfoot was lurking.
Fishing was the main reason I booked this place, and it delivered. Each site shares a ramp with one other, small but perfect for casting a line or tying up a paddle board. It’s made for relaxing. I did spot a few teenagers looking bored, but I think they were just in the “too cool for fun” stage.
Lisa was wonderful—helpful, welcoming, and full of history about the place. We had no issues at all, and I’ll definitely be back!

Our Labor Day stay at 3 G Familia Farm was one of the best all year (and this was like my 14th camping trip this year. The camp hosts were attentive and very helpful. Great location. Even better vibe. We WILL be back next year.

This is a lovely place to camp with family or friends. Super close to the coast and all the wonderful and beauty of Mendocino close by. We enjoyed downtown, Big River Beach, Russian Gulch, and the Lighthouse - all a 10min drive from here. Feels like a camping setting with all the surrounding redwoods.
I didn’t realize there was going to be so much additional charge for more people at the site. It doesn’t quite make sense since it only means more people are using the pit toilet.

We had a great time at 3 G Familia Farms. Chris came out to greet us and showed us our spot. There were several other families there as well but was not crowded as everyone was spread out. We stayed at site 17 which was perfect for our truck and rooftop tent. Point arena lighthouse was just a couple minutes drive away and had fantastic ocean views. There are several coastal access and beaches nearby. There is also a hardware/grocery store a few blocks from the camp and had everything we needed. The camp site is a few hundred yards away from the Shoreline Hwy and there is road noise but we didn't mind it at all. The weather was perfect and the night sky was clear the whole time we camped there. Great for star gazing. We paid $20 for the firewood and there was more than enough for our 2 night stay. Safe area for kids as well. We will be returning in the near future.

We loved Meadow farm and the peaceful atmosphere there. We watched the fog roll in in the evening, we played frisbee in the grass, and enjoyed being surrounded by trees. Sojourna let us move to one of the spots on the meadow (no hookups for the RV, but it's a much nicer spot up there!). Thanks Sojourna!

Very comfortable camp site. The river is about a mile or so down the road but you need to drive there. There is nothing to do in the town and no stores / gas nearby so plan accordingly.
The swimming hole is beautiful and very safe.
