Quiet, private campsites in the Redwoods. Raven Haven 1 has Easy back in from low traffic county road for small trailers and large RV's. Large, approximate 1/4 acre, mostly forested with nooks and crannies for private sleeping and tents. 2 large level areas. Raven Haven 2 is smaller and closer to my home, but still very private and quiet with more Foxes and Ravens. Great for tents, vans, and smaller RVs. Beautiful, instantly warming, fire safe propane fire pit provided for heat. Wood fire pit also available when it is safe. You must be self contained. Haul it in , haul it out, please. Water and electricity available. Many forest animals and Ravens living on the property. Your well behaved dog will not require a leash at Raven Haven 1. Sorry, due to the tiny goldfish pond, no dogs at Raven Haven 2, small well behaved dogs on leash is a possibility. Really great for campers wanting to relax in the Redwoods, not so great for loud partying. These are not party camps. It is in the forest so the mostly Redwood canopy provides some protection from the weather. Close to many beaches and parks. Albion is 7 miles south of Mendocino and 15 moles south of Fort Bragg. Redwood Forest Raven Haven 1

Place was beautiful and banana slugs were everywhere which was really neat, and the host was very sweet and responsive (she even brought s’mores stuff for us and offered firewood!) . It was a tad less private than anticipated, but a fantastic experience none the less.

Our stay at Raven Haven 2 was very peaceful and quiet. It truly seemed a haven for the ravens - they love it and they added delightful sounds with their calls and fluttering of wings. Everything was as described - we had a great time!

Redwood Forest Raven Haven 1

The site was lovely and Jackie was very helpful. We camped with our trailer, and the site included an extension cord for electricity and a hose with water, which were both very useful. This was my first time staying at a private campsite (as opposed to a campground ...) and I hadn't thought about the fact that there isn't really space to roam when you are at a private site. But, as a private/quiet/calm bit of the forest to come back to at the end of the day, this was great!

Exceptional!

Jackie (the owner of the property) is truly one-of-a-kind. She cares about her guests as if they were her children! She went above and beyond what I would expect any host would provide. Her communication was incredibly fast, and her generosity was on another level. Such a kind, genuine and lovely person all-around. The site itself was meticulous and gorgeous - it was lovely waking up to all the bird songs, and being surrounded by massive trees. The night was quiet and comfortable and we had everything we needed (and more - WAY more. Jackie made sure of it!). I slept like a ROCK. Thank you so much, Jackie! We'll be sure to return one day!

Private spot

Simple spot, private, close to the town of Mendocino and some outdoor activities. Had a few basic amenities like a table, fire pit, camping toilet (which you haul out yourself).

The Perfect hideaway

The perfect little camping place for a tent or car/van camping …Jackie is the best she’s so kind and helpful! She went above and beyond for us coming into town late! I will be back!
