Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all! We have 4 different sites to choose from. 3 sites can accommodate recreational vehicles of different sizes and 1 site is just for tents. Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your self. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town of Mendocino! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal area, over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home! Some things to know; -Cell service is very spotty onsite. -There is one communal fire pit. (NO fires at individual site) -Please remember “ pack it in pack it out” -We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same. I had a peaceful time camping at this site. The portable toilets were super clean and had nice soap at the wash station. My campsite was well marked and cozy. I pitched my tent on the wood chips next to the pond. I was afraid there would be mosquitos from the pond, but at least at this time of year I wasn’t eaten. The best part of this place is the group campfire. Split wood was ready and kindling was there along with paper to get a fire going. The chairs were comfortable with blankets. I appreciated the wash sink for dishes since I cooked dinner at my site. The hosts had great communication and instructions were easy. If I’m in the area again I would not hesitate to stay there. If you do go in warmer months, ask the host about mosquitos.

I loved camping here it was very peaceful quiet and beautiful! So much space at the campsite, and a beautiful little area for a bonfire! :)

Great spot to park my van overnight! Instructions were clear and it was easy to find the campground. I was the only one at the campground when I stayed so it was so quiet and I loved hearing the frogs nearby at night.

Camping in the Redwoods

I had a great experience at CAMPFIRE! My hot shower in the redwoods was so cool. I got to make a campfire, they made it so easy. The kindling was all ready to go, and they even provided the firewood. The sound of the frogs in the pond added to the experience. That was the cleanest porta-pottie I've ever seen in my life. And the wifi came in handy since there is no cell service. Maybe it wasn't blazing-blazing fast (don't expect to have a work Zoom video call), but it's great for texting, checking emails and making calls using WhatsApp. Camping unplugged is best, but it was a nice amenity to be able to stay connected. Nathan and Pearl went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of. LOVED my hot shower.

I stopped here on a road trip and had to book a second night, I didn't want to leave. It's a beautifully kept spot. The details throughout make it pretty magical. Hot water on demand was a godsend. My dog was safe, happy and welcome.
