The campground is situated on the southern edge of the Mojave Desert and boasts some of the best stargazing opportunities in the region. With clear, unpolluted skies, you can enjoy the magnificent night skies and immerse yourself in the beauty of the stars.
We want to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so please take note of the following guidelines: Swimming is not permitted in the fishing lake and there is no swimming pool available. Pet owners will be pleased to know that their furry friends are welcome, but there may be an additional fee added to the reservation. Wi-Fi is provided by a third-party company and a separate service fee applies. Please note that we cannot guarantee the speed, rate, or troubleshooting of the Wi-Fi service. For your convenience, a wash station for dishes is available on-site, and the Joshua Tree Laundromat is located 9 miles away in downtown Joshua Tree. For campfires, it is important to keep them contained inside the designated burn barrels and never leave them unattended. In the event of high winds, campfire, and BBQ use may be suspended for safety reasons.

Bring your sleeping bags , we will have solar lights for you, coffee press , and propane stove in each of the camps, and some cook ware. Hot water depends if you want to heat up some water on the stove/ use the propane shower, which are pretty hot or warm from the sun. Bring your own fire wood to enjoy! This is one step above camping. on a beautiful 5 acre piece of land 15 min from the 29 palms Joshua Tree park entrance. An off grid experience without electricity.

While our property encompasses 10 acres, 2 rings of 10-acre parcels that surround us are undeveloped desert landscape, so it feels like you are in the middle of 250 acres, not even power lines, nothing obstructs the views.
Relax in style in one of our two spacious glamping tents or our budget-friendly all-season cabin tent and enjoy the serenity and peace of nature and the magic desert energy at this green off-grid property.
Cook dinner in the outdoor kitchen, or enjoy sunsets with a glass of wine or a beer in comfortable outdoor chairs and sleep in a super comfy airbed on a cloud of soft pillows. Stargazing and exciting adventures await in the nearby vibrant artist town of Joshua Tree and the world-famous Joshua Tree National Park.
There is a bathhouse with a solar shower and composting toilet, and we are hooked up to city water, so there is a faucet where you can refill your water jug or the solar shower bag.
Other things to note:
You can get water at the southeast side of the property.
Fires are only allowed if you have plenty of water next to it, and are strictly forbidden per county regulations if there is ANY wind/breeze. If you have your heart set on making a fire on a windy night, we do have a backup option, we have a propane fire ring for rent, please refer to the 'extras' section. Propane fire pits don't fall under the same wind regulations because they don't create embers. There is only one propane fire ring \
available for both sites on a first come basis.
Our stoves and heaters use a 1-pound propane bottle (the green one). We do not provide propane bottles, but there are several places in town where you can get them and we do have them for sale.
Our check in is on or after 4 pm. Our check out is before 11 am.

Beautiful 5 acres of nothing but views. It's named "The Slab" simply because that's what my family has always called it. I am currently testing this as a place for campers, so please leave feedback so it can be improved. Eventually, there will be a picnic table setup for campers, and designated open spots for more vehicles to park/ flat spots for more tents. There is running water available on the slab but I am in the middle of figuring something out how campers can utilize it. Stay tuned!
UFO Enthusiasts, Rock Climbers, Urban Explorers, Off-Roaders, Artists, Musicians, and all are welcomed! We are located 10 minutes from The Integratron, 25 minutes from Giant Rock, Joshua Tree National Park, and 40 minutes from Johnson Valley. Halliday's liquor store is 10 minutes, with $5 pizza place (delicious!) / gas station 15 minutes away. There is even a nearby Landers thrift store and La Copine restaurant. Shooting area about 15 minutes away. I can list SO much more, but I'll let you come explore the hidden gems Landers has to offer. There is a firepit set up onsite for your convenience.
