Very cute place and great location, close to J Tree. Rosemarie was a very helpful host; just wish we'd had more time there!

1 - Coyote Flats - Tent Cabin
Rosemarie was a super welcoming host!! The whole campsite is so creative and comforting, so many cozy spots to watch the sun set behind the mountains. Every part of the campsite felt like a collective art piece. We had not been prepared enough for how cold the desert was at night so the campfire with the wood already available on site as well as the heated mattress pad in the tent was perfect to keep us warm! It felt like a really close community, many of the other campers at the time we were there had been to the campsite before and have also expressed how special of a place it is. It was a very open and welcoming environment and had all the amenities we needed! I would love to come back to the desert rose collective in the future!!

Fun Campground
Rosemarie is a wonderful host. The kitchen and bar is great for hanging out and meeting other campers. Staying in the cabin tent was nice and comfortable. Plenty of good hiking trails in the area. We even saw a UAP during one of the campfire’s.

Great communal camping with perks
Rosemarie’s site is such a great stay. We were a little closer to other sites than I think we expected, but had little issue with privacy. Everyone was there to enjoy themselves. We were in sites 3 and 4 and it was a 3 minute walk to the main communal area. Having two clean bathrooms, shower, sinks, microwave, fridge and plentiful seating gave us just the right amount of creature comforts to really enjoy it. Note there isn’t much wind protection so if it gets gusty you may have to hang in your tent. Looking forward to coming back and seeing how the space continues to evolve!

Site 7 - Desert Rose Campsites
I love tent camping on rosemarie’s land. I can solo camp without having to worry about wilderness camping concerns. You can park your car at your camping site and all are pretty close to each other. She also has a compostable toilet, a shower, a kitchen with gas stove and a refrigerator so you won’t be missing much ! Also, there’s Rosemarie! She is an absolutely wonderful host and a treat to stay with - she has created a wonderful space for all sorts of people to stay, share and enjoy some time together (if you want!).
