Park your vehicle under the stars looking over the Morongo Basin with the Joshua Tree National Park mountains at your back. Enjoy a campfire. Enjoy meals on the picnic table. Smell the fresh desert air. Wake to sunrise views and enjoy the changing colors with your morning brew. In the evening relax to the even more colorful sunset. Restroom available. Trash Dumpster available. RV/vehicle boondock only. No tent camping at this time. Only 5 minutes away from the Starbucks or the National Park entrance on Utah Trail, yet the sites lie on the more wild side of town and offers substantial seclusion. Two campsites available. Book both campsites for a discount and guarantee your seclusion.Park your vehicle under the stars (with a pit-toilet outhouse and trash disposal!) only 5 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park entrance and a Starbucks. Enjoy meals on the picnic table. Smell the fresh desert air. Best for vehicle or RV camping. (Campfires seem to be allowed only in February and March in SanBernardino County.) Wake to sunrise views and enjoy the changing colors with your morning brew. In the evening relax to colorful sunsets. RV/vehicle boondock recommended. Tent camping is a bit rough. Rocks have been cleared for 1 or 2 tents. (But it’s Often windy.) Fairly secluded location, but only 5 minutes away from the Starbucks or the National Park entrance on Utah Trail. Booked Guest gets choice of both campsites. (You won’t have a camping neighbor.) Dry Camping only. No power. No water. Back-in or pull around sites… located behind a 1950s Cabin. Picnic table. Fire ring (but campfires allowed only in wet months like February and March on non-windy days, check: https://sbcfire.org/openburningstatus/). Motion activated lights line the campsite entrance road on property. Large garbage dumpster available for trash. Pit toilet outhouse on site. (Outhouse is serviced every few months, so upon arrival see if there is enough toilet paper. You might need to buy more at a local store.) You will drive past a few of my neighbors down to a more open area away from neighbors, with an open view of the valley. (Neighbors enjoy the desert quiet, so no loud music at campsites. Thx!) Come relax on my desert property! (Note about Reviews: I’ve had lots of really great guests, but I can’t ever access the HipCamp “leave a review” page. An error occurs or I can’t find it on the dashboard. I’d love to leave you all glowing reviews, but HipCamp needs an upgrade so the reviews can be done through the app. That’s why I don’t have reviews, if you were wondering. Haha. Thx!)
