I absolutely adore this little cabin. It’s cozy, the energy is clean and the view is amazing. My stay was so quiet and peaceful. The only noise I heard was rain on the roof and the occasional coyote. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was so cute!

Had the best time staying at Coyote Hideaway! The sunrises, sunsets and stargazing were the best part. The property is still close to town while giving the illusion of being far away and isolated. We stayed on a new moon and had the most stunning clear view of the sky. The cabin was clean and cozy and had really neat art! The hot tub was cool and modern with led lights! I would definitely come back! Thanks for an amazing stay!

This property was an amazing retreat and close to Joshua Tree. Waking up in the morning to the amazing sunrise with a view over the desert was truly special. We enjoyed the provided tea and coffee as well as the warm shower in the winter. The hot tub also had a great view and was large enough for 6-8 people. The only thing I'd caution is that the dirt road to the property especially at the end is a bit steep and rocky but doable with any type of vehicle with a bit of clearance.

We really loved staying at Desert Protocol. It was super peaceful and full of great views, a wonderful hot tub and nice people. We didn’t use the outdoor kitchen, but it was amazing. We will be back!

What an amazing site! I almost want to keep it to myself but I also want everyone to know what a great site it is. It should be the ideal for others making campsites. You can't beat the price for what you get. I'm grateful that the owners share this part of their home.
The property is very well maintained, they even raked the ground and put lighting to the bathroom where a step into a tree could be stumbled upon. But definitely bring lights. We drove up to the site at night and noticed the markers easily. We didn't realize until morning that their are several RV hook ups and gardens to enjoy. Even a labyrinth! I'm very impressed and I'm looking forward to staying again. The site was very private, but at the time we were alone and did car camping. We used one of the two tables provided. The sink was locked but we made use of the toilet and shower. I also used the small spray of water that was shooting out from the hose spigot next to the restroom. Big mirror in the restroom and it had electricity. I shut off the water at night, which I hope that was okay, but I saw no need for it to spray water the whole time.
Fire wood and electricity was provided for free! Cell service also was present. Markets, restaurants, road side businesses are a short drive away. So was the RV park we went to visit.
The pictures to this place did not do it justice. The landscaping was very entertaining and fun.
I'm hoping to make this campsite a mainstay and would go out of my way to camp here again.

I really enjoyed this campsite. I definitely recommend arriving in the daylight! All of the communal areas are so beautiful. My dog and I hiked up the mountain, prepared breakfast in the outdoor kitchen and swam and ate out by the beautiful pool. The bathroom area is perfect! The outdoor bathroom has trees growing through the roof. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Our family absolutely LOVED this private home-away-from-home! It was such a gift to go back to these cabins (we booked both), after our days of exploring Joshua Tree and Pioneer Town.
Family favorite: Stargazing from the hot tub.
My favorite: Quiet morning coffee on the deck with the sunrise.
We love camping in JT, but now we are spoiled with this incredible privacy and sanctuary from the crowds. It's so quiet that you can hear every animal out there... coyotes, crows, and the early morning owls. We will definitely be going back!

The location was perfect and had an attached path to explore the area below. Super quiet for my reactive pup where it’s just you at the site. The deck was fabulous and the included grill/cooking utensils was great. Serina was also super accommodating and responded quickly in the chat.
If heading over when raining, the site is still accessible though I do recommend using a car with higher clearance as some of the unpaved roads in the surrounding neighborhood can get quite rough. No issue with my AWD and the road itself leading up to the cabin as it was well maintained.

This oasis was a wonderful getaway from the city to enjoy the stars, the desert and the rain.
My friend and I stayed, got rained on pretty heavily in our tent & the host was very accomodating.
Even in the rain, there are plenty of common space to enjoy from the hot tub to the sauna. We were able to enjoy some sunshine as well between down pours.
I will definitely be back again!

My friend and I had a great time here! Though the weather was bad (cold & rainy) the hot tub & sauna were amazing! We were able to cook food under shelter, play games, paint, etc and enjoy being outdoors while avoiding the rain. We spent majority of our time hanging out in the common areas and loved the hot tub in the rain!
The host was incredibly kind and accommodating.

Real cool setup with camping sites, canvas tents, container rooms & castle tower rooms. Perfect location to explore Joshua Tree. There are lots of plants & lights for a very nice setup. Ryan met us as we arrived & later brought us our pre-ordered firewood & some RO water. We had 2 great nights with a huge full moon lighting the area. There was a photo sent showing where the bathrooms were, but we didn't know where the showers were or how to get more drinking water (aside from asking for it). There was water behind the pagoda, but we weren't sure if we could drink it.
We had a good stay and not many people were there as it isn't quite the busy season yet. It felt very secure with the property being fenced in with a coded gate.

This was our third stay at Deb's Place and it never disappoints! Deb had made some changes to the campsites over the summer and makes me love our site #7 even more! The facilities and sites are always impeccably clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Even with it being 'close' to the rt 247, you still feel like you are a bit isolated but it makes getting down to Yucca Valley/JT easy! Thank you, Deb, for providing a wonderful desert escape that includes all the creature comforts we need!

Campground is convenient to Joshua Tree. Great accommodations (flush toilet, shower, huge outdoor kitchen, all very clean). Deb met me to show me around and was friendly and helpful. There is quite a bit of road noise, but that’s the cost of being close to a main road for easy access to the park.

Weekend Trip to Coyote Hideaway | WOW view✨
It’s very remote but still close to Joshua Tree maybe 10 minutes to the center of town. It’s a sand road to the place and the drive way up the hill to the cabin is a bit challenging. The view is amazing from the deck. A bit rustic and not anything fancy. The hot tub is nice.I think the property listed a washer and dryer, but it’s not for guest to use.
