FIRE BAN IS IN EFFECT ALL YEAR ROUND. This includes NO USE of camp stoves, jet boils, bbq grills unless inside your van or trailer. Please plan on picnic foods. Thank you. This is a high desert terrain highly volatile and afternoon breezes can come up in the summer. There are 3 RV and/or camping sites available for campers to book. Please note that there are no RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message. There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose. Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times. The property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer. Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

This is an extremely quiet and peaceful spot with access through a private gate. It is a one minute walk to the Gateway Hiking and Biking trailhead and right on the way to Bunny Flat and further up the mountain. I do not have bathroom facilities, but I do have electricity and drinking water. There is a covered kitchen area with a cold water sink available to wash face/hands/dishes or to obtain drinking water. There is also some counter top area, with electricity. There are no streetlights; we live in the country. There ARE lights at the property entrance gate and in the kitchen area. The vehicle camping/parking spot is on level gravel under a large oak tree and commands a generous view. The tent camping area and the covered kitchen are a short walk further, on a paved road. The tent camping area is again under giant oaks, on soft ground, nestled in a hidden cove amid the landscaping. and conveniently near the covered kitchen area. You will sleep peacefully under a multitude of stars and awaken to a chorus of early bird song, including quail, robins, finches, jays, audubon warblers and many others who may be migrating through. We are on the Pacific Flyway. Take your coffee to the pond sitting area and let the sounds of the waterfall wash over you.

Our 220 remote acres are adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in Northern California. It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek. We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here. Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us. The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

We enjoyed slot#3 as it provided shade during a hot summer day(111*).The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our conversations with the gentleman in the office! The wooded campground was relaxing, quiet and a great location for activities (ex:Mount Shasta points of interest).

I would’ve loved to explore the campground more but we were only there for a night. It was such a beautiful campground. The restrooms were very clean. The other part of the campground where the trains are was very nice. I would definitely come back either with an RV again or to stay in one of the train rooms.

Love old rail cars! Fun restaurant and bar, with a nice doggie park for my pups. We stayed in an RV but I’d love to come back and stay in a rail car. I wish the game room came with free ping pong paddles and a ball, but I’d come back.

What a beautiful place with a quick walk up a hill for views of mount hood and animals to greet you in the morning! Bathrooms were in great shape and it was awesome to have optional showers. Gave a cute little pamphlet upon check in for helpful info☺️

Overall this is a beautiful campsite. There is a delicious restaurant on the premise and the people who work there were very helpful. This particular site is next to the bathroom, which I didn’t realize when we booked it. There was also a bush of poison oak towards the back. But it is also one of the largest sites which fit our family well. We definitely will come back!

We had an amazing stay at Corin's place in Mount Shasta. Corin was incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We spent most of our time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The views were absolutely stunning, and one of our favorite parts was the wonderful aroma of the juniper trees on the property—it added such a refreshing and peaceful touch to the experience. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Mount Shasta. Thank you, Corin, for your outstanding hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay !

Host was so nice. Great new shower and compost toilet. Beautiful views. Glad we were the only ones there. A little cramped if many campers. Unfortunately it was 100 degrees but her recommendation for the lake was fantastic!
