Another great trip to Fly Camp! I’ve been here more than a few times and I always love coming back. Not just for the excellent fly fishing but the quiet serene and beautiful environment. On this trip I saw bears, dear, beavers, eagles, otters, foxes, and more all within a few yards of my tent. The river here is crystal clear and amazing to gaze at while having a cold beer. The property makes you feel like you’re much farther off the beaten path than you are yet close to local amenities if needed. Mike the owner is a salt of the earth true gentleman and just an overall wonderful person. He’s always available to answer questions and very quick to respond. I was able to get some steelhead and brown trout on this trip of good size. I highly recommend this spot to any type of camper. Overland rigs, RV’s, car set-up’s, etc. will all find the property accommodating and comfortable as there are many locations to setup camp to your liking. Can’t wait for my next trip to Fly Camp! - place is magic!

I can't say enough about this location. The river is incredible. The location is conveniently by goverment monitored and cleaned boat launch (with a pit toilet!) Michael was incredibly helpful to any questions and we look forward to coming back! Thanks Mike!
P.S. There is a trail to the river right next to the gate, kind of hard to see but it leads to the perfect spot!

This spot is incredible! Plenty of space, super private, and right on the river. Michael was a great host who provided plenty of information on directions and the local area. We can’t wait to come back!
Fly Camp was the perfect spot for our group of anglers. Right on the river, the site had easy access to prime fishing spots and the town of Lewiston.
The camp is spacious with platforms for tent setup and a cooking area.
We spent evenings around the fire pit, enjoying a clear view of the star-filled sky.
We'll be back!
Always a great stay. Great host, great spot. I always return!

Michael has a killer piece of property with prime riverfront access. Well cleared, flat camping area with great access to the buck tail boat ramp. Outstanding views of the night sky surrounded by federal land.
I had an incredible stay at this riverfront camp. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and right on the water. Michael, the host, was extremely hospitable and kind. You can tell he truly cares about the land and the people who come to enjoy it.
Waking up to the sound of the Trinity and being able to step out and swing flies right from camp was unreal. I managed to bring a few nice steelhead to the net without ever having to leave the property. If you’re a fisherman, this place is gold. If you’re a family looking for a quiet place to relax, swim, explore, and enjoy the outdoors, it’s perfect for you too.
Highly recommend. I’ll be back.

We stayed at Michael’s property right on the Trinity River, and it was a great experience. The directions were easy to follow, making it simple to find. The campground was clean, and the host was friendly and helpful. The best part was having the entire site to ourselves, which was a huge plus. River access was convenient, and we spent plenty of time by the water. There’s also plenty of shade around the property to set up your tent.
The only thing to mention is that the campsite is fairly close to the boat launch, so you might hear some activity during the day. Other than that, it’s an excellent spot to camp.

RIGHT ON THE RIVER! Fish jumping right in front of you. I caught a little rainbow every morning I was there off a tiny fly. Too small to keep but the experience was amazing. There are big fish in the river too but were too wise to what I was fishing with. Its right by the boat launch so you can take your floatables and cruze down the river as long as you have a ride back to camp. We had an awesome time, a gem on the trinity river!
Had such an amazing time at fly camp. We got the whole campsite to ourselves, which made it extra special. The bathroom was close enough to us and the water was just a few feet away. We saw a lot of wildlife and caught over 20 fish. It was awesome! Wood definitely go again 10/10!
Always great to be back at Flycamp, Mike has a very peaceful, great spot to relax, fish and enjoy nature.

From the moment you arrive, the first thing you'll notice is the refreshing scent of pine trees. Surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sound of the nearby river, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. Michael was incredibly friendly and made sure we found the property easily, even checking in on us to see how we were doing.

Our group loved the campsite and it was near the river had cell service and was private and everything we hoped for in terms of a camping experience. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Site was a bit tough to find but after it was super easy to find. The land is beautiful and soooo peaceful. There is shade and an amazing access to the river.

Another great trip. Michael was easy to reach for questions, as always. This time we got some BBQ in Lewiston which was very good. Caught some small rainbow and one bigger brown from shore at the campsite. Lots of mosquitos around in the Spring but nothing we can’t handle. We’ll be back!
This is a great place to get away and relax and enjoy nature.

This property is Amazing!
If you are in the lewiston area and are looking for a campsite on the water either for fishing or a river day this is the spot for you!
Michael (the host) is super fast to respond. He made our trip, and gave great insight to the area and all that it holds. The property is rustic and beautifully natural. Michael’s plans for the property in years to come are surely to make this place a one of a kind experience.
My wife and I highly recommend and we had a wonderful time connecting with Michael and the land.

Mike is a great host, camp is great, very quiet, great location.
This place is heaven for a fly fisherman. The steelhead out front were solid and plenty of them. This is our second time up in two months and it was just as good the second time. It’s quiet, private and beautiful. The trout runs out front are prime and if you know what flies to use you will catch amazing fish. Mike is very responsive. He cares about your experience and is quick to reply with questions. He even coached me on what flies to use when I was having a down day which helped produce my biggest fish of the trip! We saw brown bears, deer, birds, river otters, and much more during our stay. I very much enjoyed my trip to Flycamp again and will be back next season for sure!

This is the perfect location! Easily fit two large travel trailers with a lot of room to spear. There are wonderful fishing and swimming locations on the river front property. The directions were easy to follow and Michael was wonderful to communicate with. He had an answer for any question. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful piece of riverfront land, with many places to tuck in camper vans, tents, and a few (4?) trailers. The road is nicely graveled, bordered by river rocks and sand. Morning shade abounds, but mid-day and afternoons are heated by direct sun. The evenings are exceptional, with the sound of the river to lull you into deep sleep. We plan to return soon and often!

Beautiful location nestled in the bend of the river. Very private and accommodated 15 of us, never felt crowded. Plenty of riverfront room for tents and campers. We kayaked down the river from the campsite which was simply breathtaking and was an easy 4-mile drive back. Michael was extremely communicative, and very helpful in offering tips for fishing tours, boat rentals, and more. Checked in with us before, during and after our stay. Will definitely be returning!
This place is fantastic! The river runs north of camp are loaded with trout. Bring your Spey rod because you’ll have trouble back casting in this location unless you wade deep into the river. Quiet with lots of wild life. We saw bears, deer, and a bald eagle. Lots of nooks to park at and a river trail up river. Micheal was awesome helping us with questions, directions, and so forth. Have fun!

What a treasure! My son and I had a fun couple of days camping on Michael's property. Being right on the Trinity River was such a treat. We explored the property, waded and fished up the river, floated back down, watched the meteor shower and had a fantastic time all around. Michael was super helpful and provided great advice and tips. Will be back!!

Quickly becoming a favorite spot. More fishing, swimming and taking in the scenery. This time we met Trinity Fly Shop owners and a few locals, all incredibly friendly and welcoming to the area. We caught a few fish this time, too! Thank you for sharing your land, Michael.
Beautiful, remote piece of land right on the river. I didn’t realize we’d be the only ones there- lovely area especially if you like fishing! Maintained toilet down the road. Got very hot during the day so a shade would be ideal if you are there all day. Loved the rocking bench by the river. Michael was very communicative.
