Perch Riverview Glamping

This place was wonderful! Well kept, clean, and wonderfully designs. Plenty of space to enjoy the scenery and have a bit of privacy. We absolutely loved our stay here. I will definitely be coming back!

We had a hard time finding the location, as the signage was difficult/unclear. Had a hard time reaching the host to try to trouble shoot. Also, the space was a bit messy.

Absolutely gorgeous river view from the tent, got to watch a fox and baby deer visit the river right from our porch! Well stocked common kitchen with a great gas grill. Located very close to town. Nice swimming spot down the hill. You are close enough to the bridge to hear traffic but it's not frequent and we stopped noticing after a while. When I return to Willow Creek I will absolutely book this spot again.

Beautiful campground above river

We camped here on our trip around National Parks, and this campground is totally wonderful. There are several sites, all with shade and a lot of private space, the whole campground is very nicely arranged, the shower and main facilities are awesome, also from the aesthetic perspective; there were even some towels supplied by the hosts, and it is all very well maintained. The hosts also clearly take good care of the grounds (e.g., there are several young olive trees planted), and the spot has great energy. There are some recreation items available and it is altoghether a super pleasant place. Location is also great, there is a beautiful river below - we didn't have the time to swim in it, but talked to another camper who did and really enjoyed it. It seems like a nice place for kayaking at good water level, and we'd love to return (I am a kayaker).

Willow Creek was a lovely town and we enjoyed staying there. The campsite however was very noisy, situated between two very busy roads. The host thoughtfully provided just about everything needed to enjoy the river, from floaties to fishing poles to kayaks. It was a pretty steep hike to the river from the campsite so we elected to go to Kimtu beach, which was very close and an easier walk. We would have appreciated arriving to emptied trash and a clean toilet area.

Wildlife excitement

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at site 24 and had an amazing experience. We were the only campers in the campground during our stay, which made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The campground is well maintained and has great amenities, including a full kitchen, hot showers, and clean flushing toilets. The walk down to the river was easy and definitely worth it. Wildlife was one of the highlights of our trip—we saw quail and deer during the day, and even had a black bear wander through the kitchen and garbage area in the middle of the night (which made for an unforgettable camping story!). The only downside was some road noise, but it wasn’t enough to take away from the experience. Overall, this campground was absolutely worth every penny, and we’d happily stay here again.

Stay here you won’t regret it! Super close to devils elbow like 10m away. And super close to gas station like 3m away. Beautiful views/ great kitchen and showers and fireplace. Good for meeting new ppl on the road in glamping setting. This was restful.

We stayed at site 16 & were so throughly impressed with the thoughtfulness in every detail of this place. Everything you can think of is there as far as spices, pots & pans or literally anything you would need for cooking, goggles, snorkels, bubbles, paddle boards for the river, board games & cards for nighttime activities, everything is there! The communal kitchen & bathroom were gorgeous & oh so enjoyable, the location is just the right distance from the cutest town, overall this place is a 10/10. My friends & I are actually planning a trip back but this time staying in the tent style yurt with the view of the river because it was just too cool! However one thing to be aware of is there are patches of poison oak around the border of the property; especially site 16 & around the child playground area, specifically near the swing, it was just a foot from our tent but that’s just the outdoors for ya!

Riverview Dome

This was truly a sanctuary retreat….far beyond anything we expected. Every moment felt peaceful, restorative, and thoughtfully created. We honestly have nothing to complain about. It was an incredibly healing experience for both my boyfriend and me, and we left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and grateful. We will absolutely be back! -LM

Beyond Awesome

An absolute treat and gem of a place to stay. Excellent hosting and communication. Whether you opt for glamping in one of the canvas tents or dome or go for a "bring your own tent spot"--you are in for a treat because all the amenities are there for everyone. The private swimming hole is a little slice of heaven and lots of water toys/accessories are available to use. Bathroom,showers and outdoor kitchen amenities exceed expectations. Fire wood and plenty of pits are also provided. You are close to town but you still enjoy the sounds of nature: fox, heron, lizards, ducks, geese and a couple domestic cows along with the sound of the river. We can't wait to return to the Perch.

Our stay was wonderful. The view from the deck was amazing, the communal kitchen had everything you could need, and the bathroom and shower was clean and well stocked. Waking up and having a coffee while staring out across the river was magical.

Beautiful property with amenities.

Had such wonderful time staying at Perch Riverview Glamping. Rowan the camp host/owner was incredibly hospitable and caring. Campsites were intimate and homey. Also has river access which was wonderful in the morning to watch the sunrise. Property has running water, shared private shower/restroom, and outdoor shower. Host's family was kind enough to share their zucchini's from the communal garden.

We had a great experience at Perch! We stayed in the pre setup tent with a super comfy large bed and twin for our toddler. Great amenities, kitchen, walk to the river etc. they are working on the garden and building the place up to continue to be accommodating to families with young kids, thinks Perch, we’ll be back!

River Fun & Good Vibes

My family and I had a lovely time here! When we got there and started setting up Jo welcomed us and gave a brief tour while offering freshly picked blackberries! The actual camping area we set up our tent was clean and perfect area with shade, bench, and fire pit. The entire camping grounds was beautiful with a small pond and garden area, the communal kitchen/bathhouse had luxurious feel to it, there were areas to relax including hammocks. The biggest joy from this camping experience was the river access!! The path to the river is around 10 minutes just because of how steep it is but once down the river was great. We found a perfect swim area and caught so many tadpoles!

Wow, wow, WOW! I’m sure there are fancier glamping experiences available. We weren’t looking for those. We enjoyed everything this offered with a slight caveat for me, the occasional punctuation of traffic noise. For its convenience, location, and everything offered here, the occasional noise of a vehicle passing is a very small cost. Perched above the river, we felt private. The amenities of showers (inside & out), toilet, running water, and outdoor kitchen, were all a very short walk. The bed was quite comfy and the tent quite clean. We were glad for the ease of ‘opening’ its window for breeze during the heat of our stay.

The perfect blend of camping and glamping! We parked our camper at site 24, which had a great shady spot for a tent. It was lovely to have the open field and be surrounded by trees. And there was not a more welcome sight after a swim in the river in the afternoon heat than a gorgeous, spacious bathroom on the property! There was plenty of space on the table at our site to set up our camp stove and cook our meals, but washing dishes after was easy-peasy at the big sink by the bathroom complete with sponge, soap, and drying rack! Next time we come, we’ll utilize the outdoor kitchen setup on the property… espresso machine?? blender?? hell yah!!! Thank you, hosts, for creating such a welcoming and thoughtful experience for campers! We’d love to come back with a bunch of friends!

Perfect little get away!

Our host, Jo is the sweetest ever! We came in late but she was very good at communicating direction. The property is adorable and we were lucky enough to be there when there was a boat race happening! Bathrooms were clean, stocked and share common area is super cute! Can’t wait to visit again and see her garden. Thank you Jo!

We had a wonderful stay here. The campsite was peaceful and relaxing, and we even got to watch deer wandering through in the morning, which was a special surprise. The fire pit made for a great evening, and I especially appreciated the little touches like the lounge chair and fairy lights that made the space feel welcoming and cozy. It was a great place to slow down, enjoy nature, and unwind. We'd happily stay here again.

Starry skies and river views!

Riverview Dome

We loved staying in the dome and enjoying the porch, view down to the river, and adjacent fire pit area! There were others staying on the property but our space felt very private, while still being conveniently close to the bathroom and shared kitchen. JoRo had warned us that the dome might be uncomfortably warm until about 6:30pm, but it was the perfect temperature by the time we went to bed— and such a comfortable bed! Loved being able to walk down to the river in just a few minutes and having that side of the river all to ourselves to lounge in the afternoon. This is such beautiful spot and being able to watch the amazing stars from bed in the dome was a treat!

It’s an alright site. Dogs bark throughout the night, the bathroom and kitchen area were quite dirty, and the tent site wasn’t properly cleared. The picnic table was nice. You’re also quite close to the other sites

Overpriced campsite

I think it’s overpriced for what’s offered: an uneven area of dirt with half buried rocks, the brush around the site was overgrown, the road is quite noisy, and lots of dogs barking through the night. Lots of ticks and mosquitoes (grass was quite tall - maybe keeping it short would help). But the table and chairs were nice as well as the composting toilet. The potable water is placed directly in the sun and the kitchen station was very dirty.

Wonderful campground with thoughtful extras included!! Very responsive hosts who genuinely want guests to have a great experience. Highly recommend and will be booking again :)

Visited during a wet and soggy April, so road in was a little slick and low tree branches. Host moved us to another site which was nice as the grass was mowed shorter there. Didn't hike down to the river as persistent rains prevented exploration. Some construction that was underway looks promising for future improvements.
