Absolutely enjoyed the hosts. Great family atmosphere! The community kitchen was well stocked and a big surprise. The bathroom and shower were comfortably perfect. Can’t wait to see how this property transforms as continued improvements are being made, I will definitely be back ❤️

Wow, wow, WOW! I’m sure there are fancier glamping experiences available. We weren’t looking for those. We enjoyed everything this offered with a slight caveat for me, the occasional punctuation of traffic noise. For its convenience, location, and everything offered here, the occasional noise of a vehicle passing is a very small cost. Perched above the river, we felt private. The amenities of showers (inside & out), toilet, running water, and outdoor kitchen, were all a very short walk. The bed was quite comfy and the tent quite clean. We were glad for the ease of ‘opening’ its window for breeze during the heat of our stay.

The perfect blend of camping and glamping! We parked our camper at site 24, which had a great shady spot for a tent. It was lovely to have the open field and be surrounded by trees. And there was not a more welcome sight after a swim in the river in the afternoon heat than a gorgeous, spacious bathroom on the property! There was plenty of space on the table at our site to set up our camp stove and cook our meals, but washing dishes after was easy-peasy at the big sink by the bathroom complete with sponge, soap, and drying rack! Next time we come, we’ll utilize the outdoor kitchen setup on the property… espresso machine?? blender?? hell yah!!! Thank you, hosts, for creating such a welcoming and thoughtful experience for campers! We’d love to come back with a bunch of friends!

Lovely spot with easy river access although the ground was covered with weeds that were getting tangled in my dog’s hair so be careful if you bring your dog.

Perfect little get away!

Our host, Jo is the sweetest ever! We came in late but she was very good at communicating direction. The property is adorable and we were lucky enough to be there when there was a boat race happening! Bathrooms were clean, stocked and share common area is super cute! Can’t wait to visit again and see her garden. Thank you Jo!

Good camping spot

We had a wonderful stay here. The campsite was peaceful and relaxing, and we even got to watch deer wandering through in the morning, which was a special surprise. The fire pit made for a great evening, and I especially appreciated the little touches like the lounge chair and fairy lights that made the space feel welcoming and cozy. It was a great place to slow down, enjoy nature, and unwind. We'd happily stay here again.

Starry skies and river views!

Riverview Dome

We loved staying in the dome and enjoying the porch, view down to the river, and adjacent fire pit area! There were others staying on the property but our space felt very private, while still being conveniently close to the bathroom and shared kitchen. JoRo had warned us that the dome might be uncomfortably warm until about 6:30pm, but it was the perfect temperature by the time we went to bed— and such a comfortable bed! Loved being able to walk down to the river in just a few minutes and having that side of the river all to ourselves to lounge in the afternoon. This is such beautiful spot and being able to watch the amazing stars from bed in the dome was a treat!

It’s an alright site. Dogs bark throughout the night, the bathroom and kitchen area were quite dirty, and the tent site wasn’t properly cleared. The picnic table was nice. You’re also quite close to the other sites

Overpriced campsite

I think it’s overpriced for what’s offered: an uneven area of dirt with half buried rocks, the brush around the site was overgrown, the road is quite noisy, and lots of dogs barking through the night. Lots of ticks and mosquitoes (grass was quite tall - maybe keeping it short would help). But the table and chairs were nice as well as the composting toilet. The potable water is placed directly in the sun and the kitchen station was very dirty.

Visited during a wet and soggy April, so road in was a little slick and low tree branches. Host moved us to another site which was nice as the grass was mowed shorter there. Didn't hike down to the river as persistent rains prevented exploration. Some construction that was underway looks promising for future improvements.

Riverside solo Camp

Lovely property right above the river! The host is kind and thoughtful. I appreciated the self serve check in as I arrived very late after a long day of driving. There are a variety of sites, and I was lucky to be upgraded to the beautiful Perch! It has a private deck overlooking the river, comfy bed + electricity, access to sweet bathhouse with shower+toilet. My pup and I enjoyed the whole property to ourselves and spent a lot of time by the water. It's clear there is a lot of care for the space. HIGHLY recommend!

This is a very unique stay; it's comfortable nonetheless, and everything you need for a nice glamping experience is at Perch. The views from the perch tent were immaculate!

Best vacation EVER!!!!

This place is AMAZING!! We will be back the first chance we get. Well worth a 9 hour drive with 2 adults and 3 dogs in a compact car. They had everything ready for us when we arrived. The kitchen is complete with a pantry full of spices and staples. They have dishes and silverware. A griddle and a hot plate to cook on if you don’t want to cook over ther fire. They even have an espresso/cappuccino maker. Loved the coffee maker in the tent. They have paddle boards,canoes and fishing poles to use at your leisure. It’s stunningly beautiful here! So much so, we stayed an extra day! It’s easy access to the river from the camp right around the corner. Our dogs liked it so much , I’m having trouble getting the last one in the car. We had the best time! Dreading going back to the city. Going back to a heat wave. Bummer! At least when I get back to work, I will have purpose. To keep working to save enough to come back! Thank you so much for a much needed break from L.A. and the best most memorable vacation EVER! This place is the best. Will never camp again. For us, it’s Glamping or nothing. The “campsite” had trash on the ground and the “toilet” was an outhouse with a plastic bucket that not only hadn’t been emptied in a long time, but also had “stuff” growing out of it. Additionally the ground was teeming with ants as there were a handful of large nests around the site. Should’ve stayed at nearby motel.

Beautiful and peaceful spot right above the river. The tent was cozy and felt private despite being on a share site. The bathrooms are super clean and the kitchen was stocked with cooking tools and utensils. The trail leading down to the river was fun! Definitely hoping to visit again!

Incredibly relaxing!

My wife and I were road tripping our way up north from Temecula for our 26th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Perch for couple nights and absolutely loved it. Sitting on the Perch porch overlooking the river was so relaxing. The communal bathroom was clean and convenient. Even though we braught everything we needed, the communal kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare any meal you can think of. We even figured out the puzza oven! The walk down to the river isnt bad at all and the little swimming hole keeps you out of the current. They have a whole host of water toys, like paddle boards and floaties, goggles and flippers. The hosts were very friendly and communicative. Town is litterally 3 minutes away. We highly recomend staying here and cant wait to do it again! Thanks JoRo!

Misleading and Uncomfortable Stay

Riverview Glamping Dome

I came here to decompress during my road trip, but ended up spending most of the evening dealing with issues the host should have managed. The dome was translucent and visible from the communal walkway, which left me feeling very exposed as a female solo traveler. Especially given there was a group of men camped nearby. This was not mentioned in the listing. It was also unbearably hot inside and smelled like plastic upon arrival. The host had said it would be covered to stay cool, but it wasn’t. When I asked for help, she suggested I hang out in a nearby tent (also not disclosed) and later told me to ask other campers for assistance. The cover eventually slipped off again, showing it was never secured. The dome wasn’t anchored to the deck, and shifting wind created gaps that left me freezing overnight. Animals got into the trash, and the site looked worn and unkept compared to the listing photos. The one positive was the comfortable bed. Overall the hosting felt cold and deflective, and my safety/basic comfort concerns were dismissed.

Gorgeous spot, great communication, amazing river access, it’s tucked away so we had plenty of privacy, and yet it was close enough to town to hop over to a restaurant for dinner, best of both worlds.
