Since 1968, we’ve been reliving the romantic days of railroading at Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge. Nestled in Northern California, our resort offers one of the most unique stays in the region. Wake up to crisp, pine-scented mountain air at Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge, where camping feels timeless. Our scenic property features 24 RV sites and 20 tent campsites, combining rustic charm with modern amenities. Jubilee Railroad is ideal for adventurers exploring Mt. Electricity & internet remain available. Hot Tub open (pool closed). Tent camping is closed in winter, but RV guests are welcome year-round. Campground is separate but adjacent to the rail car grounds. We camped next to the creek in campervan. Really spacious and private. Interior campsites were more open. It’s a short walk to the rail cars and the pool. Pool was refreshing and rail cars were nice ambience. The highway noise dissipates at night and we loved hearing periodic trains in the distance. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and even escorted us to our campsite in their golf cart. Despite all the warning signs we didn’t see any bears, but camp hosts said they rummage in the garbage and don’t bother people. Nice view of Castle Crag. Really nice vibe. Would stay there again.

What a wonderfully unique and fun experience! I tent camped and had a great spot. Clean hit showers, great host, and a short walk to the dining car in the resort area. Sat at the bar, listening to live French Cafe music, (in French), had the best warm apple empanada and returned for the breakfast burrito! Outstanding food, and ambiance, and they even have outside movies by the dining car. I'll be back for sure.

Lovely campsite, tucked away from all the RV campers. We didn’t feel overwhelmed by families and large vehicles. Camp bathrooms and showers were clean, host was kind and helpful. Best of all the Railcar Restaurant on the campground was romantic and had a historic elegance. The next morning we discovered the little creek next to camp which seems perfect for sitting (in a pool of water) and relaxing.

I would’ve loved to explore the campground more but we were only there for a night. It was such a beautiful campground. The restrooms were very clean. The other part of the campground where the trains are was very nice. I would definitely come back either with an RV again or to stay in one of the train rooms.

Overall this is a beautiful campsite. There is a delicious restaurant on the premise and the people who work there were very helpful. This particular site is next to the bathroom, which I didn’t realize when we booked it. There was also a bush of poison oak towards the back. But it is also one of the largest sites which fit our family well. We definitely will come back!

Wasn't too sure what to expect, but was totally enchanted! Frank was great, checking us in, loading firewood into my car and escorting us to our charming creekside campsite. Had an incredible 5-star dinner prepared by Chef Adam in the lovely dining car with excellent service provided by Suzie. The food was so good, we went back for breakfast and then took our friends to dinner there!

It is easy to access right off the freeway, but feels deep in the woods at the campsites. The dog park was clean. There is a restaurant on site. We didn’t eat there, but the menu looked nice. The staff at check-in were helpful and friendly.
