Our 120 acres is adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta. It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek. We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Site 2 - Creekside RV
Hidden Paradise
I’m a bit hesitant to write this review as I want to keep this gem to myself. While the last few miles before you get there might have you questioning your decision, once there it is a magical place. Scott and Nora have created something truly amazing in this little slice of heaven. Not only is the camp worth a visit but the owners themselves are truly lovely people. And when Scott stokes up the wood fired pizza oven the whole camp is brought together to enjoy the shared bounty. Most of the campers were prepared with doughs and toppings for the Saturday evening cookout. The camp is spotless and the extra touches are mostly unheard of in camping world. The swimming hole is a bit of a walk but well worth it and Iron Canyon Reservoir was a great place to paddle board although the road was quite challenging. We will most certainly be back for another visit. Thank you Scott and Nora. It was our pleasure meeting you.

Pure Magic at Stoney Meadows!
This was our second stay at Stoney Meadows and it once again surpassed expectations, so much so that we were able to extend our stay for an extra night! The property is pure magic, the animals (especially the dogs) are such a special part of the experience and all of the swimming holes are such a highlight of each day! The campsites are all so beautifully situated on the creek and we love the privacy many of the spots offer from other sites. Scott and Nora are beyond helpful, so friendly and hospitable, and kept us well fed with pizza nights! We cannot WAIT to be back again soon!

Best location and host ever!!!
Amazing spot. Almost want to gate keep with how great of an experience this was. Scott is a true gem of a person and even taught me how to make my first pizza. I'll definitely be back.

3rd times the charm!
This was my third stay at Nora and Scott's, and it definitely won't be my last. Camp Stoney Meadows stands apart from the rest due to its natural beauty, serenity, and warm hospitality. If you're looking for time off-grid with wonderful hosts, look no further than here!

Site 2 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows
Very welcoming hosts. Campsites are right on the creek and have everything you could need when camping. It's a good little drive out, but we would stay here again.
