We've been enjoying this special spot with family and friends for over 25 years, and now we want to share it with you. We appreciate the four seasons here on our 120 acres in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta. Our property is adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest. It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek. We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Perfection
Absolutely beautiful spot with delightful hosts- Scott and Nora. The camp site is so well cared for and spacious. The land is stunning and they have worked hard to build a sustainable life there- This was our favourite stop in California- Oh - and the dogs were divine! They have beautiful dogs who are gentle and respectful who will be happy to be your companions for the duration of your stay if you like animals! Thanks Scott and Nora for sharing your part of the world.

Creekside Family Lodge
Nice secluded, quiet, beautiful, tranquil place to relax and enjoy my time. We stayed in the family lodge/cabin. Rustic ranch bunkhouse. The river was 50 yards away. Organic garden, wild berries and plums, man made swimming hole and livestock. Our host checked in every day to see if we needed anything and was very gracious. Thank you for having us.

Site 1 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows
This is an excellant camp site near a beautiful creek. Scott and Nora made us feel at home inspite of their long trip the next day. The kids had a wonderful time with their pets - Lama, Donkey, Pony and their dogs who always made us feel safe . The weather was perfect when we visited and Nora and Scott were very generous to share their vegetables and fruits from their lovely garden. We stayed only for a night and i am sure to come back just to spend some switch off time with my family in this beautiful place and to meet Nora and Scott again!

We got to meet Scott and he was so nice and helpful. The property is amazing and beautiful. Was easy to loose track of time and just be present in the beautiful landscape. The communal kitchen was really convenient and well stocked. The bathrooms and shower were clean and nice as well. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed. We will be back soon!

Site 7 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows
Nora & Scott鈥檚 place truly is a gem. The drive from the main road had us a bit skeptical at first, but once you get to Camp Stoney Meadows you are greeted with llamas, cows and their farm dogs who help patrol the land. They are super friendly and made us feel extra safe. The campsites aren鈥檛 numbered so it鈥檚 helpful to remember which one on the map you booked. We were lucky and got the ENTIRE place to ourselves which meant we could choose whichever campsite and didn鈥檛 have to share the communal spaces: kitchen, bathroom, and shower. I would stay here even if the whole place was booked. The communal areas were very well kept and have just about anything you would need in the kitchen to cook your meals. There were even some grapes for us from their property which was such a nice touch!
