Conveniently located long I-5 just south of the CA/OR border, we have 15 acres that are a mix of conifer forest and a chaparral hilltop with spectacular views of Mount Shasta. Our small, friendly campground offers clean, comfortable bathrooms with (free!) hot showers and a coin-op laundry room. Community fire pit & bbq area, too! Minutes from world-class fishing, hiking, climbing, kayaking, skiing... all year long, it's an outdoorsmans paradise! Use us as your base camp for all your NorCal adventures! Did we mention we have goats & chickens to watch, feed & pet? Fruit trees & wild blackberries. Walking trails through the forest, and the most perfect hilltop spot to kick back in our comfy Adirondacks with a glass of wine to stargaze.

Easy Location off of I-5

I arrived at 5:45 (the requested arrival was 6p.m.) and the "store" was not open. The campground was nice and quiet. Although the entrance was lit the rest of the campground was not and it was super hard to find my spot in the dark. I was prepared with a headlamp and ended up walking around to find it. As a single female, I tried to book my spot close to others. When I received an email before arrival saying I was at the top of a hill away from everyone and to watch a video it was even more confusing. Overall I would say if someone could have been there until 6 (especially in the dark of winter) or at least answered my phone call at that time it would have made the whole experience a lot easier.

I appreciated how easy and timely communications were with Karen. The site was great for camping, with regard to being flat, clean and tucked away. I wasn’t prepared for how noisy the nearby highway was. Perhaps I missed that in the description.

It’s definitely away from the RV people the hill is no problem good view of Mt Shasta great bathroom and shower though the shower head is pretty low great little bathroom

Check in folder

I appreciated the folder at check in…it had the bathroom code and internet password. The site was nice as well, perfect for my pop up camper.

We enjoyed our stay - an absolute beautiful view from our site and the ammenities were fabulous! Very convenient location just off the 5, 10/10 would recommend!
