Located at the base of Castle Crags, near Railroad Park Resort and Restaurant, this campsite offers beautiful views of Mount Shasta. Just minutes from the Upper Sacramento River, you'll enjoy excellent fishing and swimming. Conveniently located right off I-5, just south of Dunsmuir, it's the perfect base for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and exploring. Nearby attractions include Mossbrae Falls, Hedge Creek Falls, Castle Crags State Park, Mount Shasta, and Lake Siskiyou, all within 10 minutes. Mount Shasta Ski Park, the McCloud River, Castle Lake, Shasta Lake, and three golf courses are all within 30 minutes away. Don't feel like cooking? Railroad Park Restaurant is just 1 minute from the campsite. Enjoy dinner and drinks in a historic railroad car for a unique and nostalgic dining experience.Space has 50 and 35 amp power, water, and Waste hookups. This is a new camp site so there are not a lot of improvements yet. Also I am in the process of removing a small building.

This was a really nice spot, especially if you need a break from regular campgrounds. Easy drive through, easy hook-ups. If I was hanging around this area for some time, I'd be here! Highly recommend.
