Our 220 remote acres are adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in Northern California.
It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek.
We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here. Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us. The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip!
No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

This park gets its rather self-descriptive name from the six beautiful rivers that flow through its borders, but don’t the name fool you. There is a lot more than just rivers to check out here. More than a million rambling acres of forest take you through foggy and mystical redwood landscapes. Further inland, miles of towering Douglas firs, glacial peaks, and hidden pools just wait to be discovered. Of course, the rivers are the main attraction. You can’t go two feet without tripping over a perfect swimming hole. After your dip, there are plenty of warm rocks to lay out on. One beautifully landscaped acre with a goldfish and tadpole pond, waterfall, large grass area and view of Mount Shasta from some areas. This is my private home. This is an extremely quiet and peaceful spot with access through a private gate. It is a one minute walk to the Gateway Hiking and Biking trailhead and right on the way to Bunny Flat and further up the mountain. I do not have bathroom facilities, but I do have electricity and drinking water. There is a covered kitchen area with a cold water sink available to wash face/hands/dishes or to obtain drinking water. There is also some counter top area, with electricity. There are no streetlights; we live in the country. There ARE lights at the property entrance gate and in the kitchen area. The vehicle camping/parking spot is on level gravel under a large oak tree and commands a generous view. The tent camping area and the covered kitchen are a short walk further, on a paved road. The tent camping area is again under giant oaks, on soft ground, nestled in a hidden cove amid the landscaping. and conveniently near the covered kitchen area. You will sleep peacefully under a multitude of stars and awaken to a chorus of early bird song, including quail, robins, finches, jays, audubon warblers and many others who may be migrating through. We are on the Pacific Flyway. Take your coffee to the pond sitting area and let the sounds of the waterfall wash over you.

10/10 perfect spot for a weekend hideaway, Billy and her husband Tim were the best host and very welcoming, they put their heart into their property and it truly shows. They have cultivated a very special area that welcomes wildlife while also respecting the land. Short drive to whiskeytown but you honestly don’t need it, the creek is beautiful I even took my paddle board out. We will definitely be returning next summer! I think my dog Pancho might’ve also had the best time ever.

I am still gathering words to express how this land, garden & the woman that has built and cares for it is Truly a Peace of Heaven on Earth!! This land is for those looking to disconnect and connect with themselves and the mountain. I never turned music on when the sounds of nature and flowing waterfalls gave me a symphony of natures sounds. Ease of access to everything and Jacqueline is a walking angel. Coffee Creek was a lovely little campground. We were assigned site G which was located right behind the creek. The views were lovely both during the day for mountains and at night for stargazing. It was cool that they had a net for volleyball and badminton as well as horseshoes and a small play set. The best part was the lack of cell service! It was so nice to have the kids playing, swimming, etc and not sucked into their phones the whole time. We got real, quality family time, and they remembered how to get along!

We loved swimming upstream of the springs during the hot afternoon and then dipping into the springs later in the evening as things cooled off. We only saw two other guests briefly during our stay. Lots of space and a mix of private and open campgrounds.

This is so great to have the ability to camp near a lovely creek and have access to these hotsprings. We received good directions and had no problems getting there, but do beware of crazy potholes on the last part of the road getting there! I would say the camping area is quite large and you can definitely camp in privacy away from the river, but a lot of the river sites are like camping at a fairgrounds in the late summer. We were camped in a small trailer and it was fine. I’m glad we camped there but the camping spot itself was meh. Would be nice to have trash receptacles too, if nothing else for picking up other people’s trash that was left behind!

Some Hipcamps have specific places to set up tents. This location is broad with plenty of flat space to pitch a tent. Easy location to sleep in your car or trailer. Shade is minimal. We didn't get a chance to explore the barn.

This is a lovely campground although it is primarily set up for RV's/Rv rentals as the title suggests. The tent sites are varied meaning some have a very nice short Bermuda grass that adds comfort and cleanliness to the site, while others have more of a "dry camping" feel on dry grass. We requested two sites but it was not clear via HipCamp that the sites are not reserved for tent campers, thus the available sites were not next to each other and of different quality. We worked things out with the owner so all of us stayed on one of the green sites and we really enjoyed the space. Bathrooms were nearby and clean. The showers were very nice but the water was only tepid, still their cleanliness and set up with hooks and shelving was appreciated. The owner granted a refund for the unused site. Very nice people and one of our favorite sites over the two week trip. Cute town of Weaverville nearby which had nice shops, good food, friendly people for a nice afternoon. The town also had a movie theatre. There are plenty of outdoor activities within a short driving distance.

Although primarily a RV site, our tent site was very nice with short Bermuda. Bathrooms convenient to grass sites were very clean with nice showers. Water was lukewarm only but fine for summer months. Dish washing station was also near by. Small store with limited supplies. Lewiston is a tiny town with a couple shops and small stores, but Weaverville is within easy driving distance and has several nice shops for more of a day trip. Grass tent sites were very few and on 1st come basis. Other spots available were large but dry (no grass) and varying distance from bathrooms. Owner Ryan was very kind and helpful.

The view/ the creek/ the hot springs all were amazing. The people I met were all first timers also and suoer friendly. I will be coming back to camp. It is in the middle of nowhere so come prepaired
