Our 220 remote acres are adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in Northern California.
It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek.
We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here. Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us. The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip!
No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

What a fun and easy place to get to. We only stayed one night and loved that the vintage trailer was available right next to our site so our group could be near each other. Would definitely come back to explore the area more! The heated bathrooms were a big bonus!! Thank you!

Very peaceful with the convenience of a communal kitchen, showers and a flush toilet. The creek is beautiful and due to its remote location there was only one other couple so we were able to spread out between two other sites. We were awestruck by the stars and were lulled to sleep by the night sounds of crickets and the creek. The raspberries growing both wild and in the garden and were delicious. We also enjoyed plums and grapes. Our host Scott was our hero when we had trouble with our hitch and he brought out tools and grease until we succeeded in hooking it up for our departure. We greatly enjoyed iron canyon reservoir which is stuffed with trout and again there were no other people. We had a lovely time kayaking there. We highly recommend!

Nora and Scott are incredibly friendly.
Camp spots are fairly close together, so keep that in mind. The facilities, including a bathroom, shower, and covered outdoor kitchen were a very nice perk. They also have a nice swimming hole on the river attached to their property.
We happened to be there on pizza night and Scott and Nore make the dough and sauce from scratch, so good!
They have a number of dogs that roam the ranch to protect their animals, so make sure you're dogs are friendly if you plan to travel with one. Also, not advised if you have a vehicle that's low as the roads are a bit bumpy.

Karen and her husband we very welcoming and did all they could to accommodate us as quickly as possible. A storm came in the night before and knocked power out. They were able to get the power back on and were able to relocate us to a site with power. The place was very well maintained and the short hike to the top of the hill gave us spectacular views of Mt Shasta. The goats, chicken and other wildlife were definitely a welcoming touch. Thank you Karen and Trailer Lane for a very nice stay!!!!

We stayed at Camp Stoney Meadows for 4 nights, and it was an incredible experience. We absolutely loved it — this place is a true hidden gem.
The beautiful river and surrounding nature were so peaceful, and the shared kitchen, bathrooms, and showers were clean and well-maintained. There were lots of animals around, and we especially loved the super friendly dogs — we interacted with them all the time!
It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge.
A special thanks to Scott, the ranch owner — a truly wonderful person. He was always around, sharing stories about the ranch and making us feel so welcome.
We’re so grateful we found this place, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

My husband and I had the best time visiting this beautiful property. There were two RV spots and several tent spots. The groundskeeper, Alex was amazing! He was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms while rustic were clean. This was just the trip we were looking for. I would definitely go again.

Nice RV and camping spots next to the creek and under large coniferous trees. Power for a fan, lights or coffeemaker. A kitchen with all the basics and well equipped with dish towels, sponges, dish soap as well as essentials like cooking oil and salt. A clean flush toilet and shower. Scott was friendly and helpful.

Convenient stay on the way up north or the return south bound trips through the area. All the amenities. Got to stop by the camp store this time and it's very cute.... snacks, tshirts, souvenirs, and things you may have forgotten for your trip.
It was a warm day coming through but it was about 5 degrees cooler at the camp and the shade was falling over it for the evening so made for a nice temp.
Made it up to the tent are for the view of Shasta this time. It's fantastic to sit up there for the view (assuming you're not bothering tent campers). Lovely little tent camping area also with flush toilets and warm showers. Pretty sweet spaces
Road noise is the only complaint which can't be changed. Was more noticeable this time through as we had the windows open on the van to get some cool air in.

Weekend Trip to Camp Stoney Meadows
Scott and Nora's property is pretty neat.
Scott fired up wood fire pizza oven and we got to make pizza from scratch! How amazing!!
100% recommended camping here.
(Don't forget to pack insect and mosquito repellent with you.)

This was a great location with great views and lots to do. We would definitely recommend. The hike to the swimming hole was easy and we will bring our towels next time.
