If you are turning onto a dirt road without a sign....you are on the wrong road. Juniper Valley Spur is my short culdesac road with a road sign and a locked green pipe rail gate at the end. We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message. There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose. Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times. Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer. Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

At an elevation near 3000 feet, the Ridge gets lots of sun, with cold nights and hot days in winter and summer respectively. The mountainside location generally offers clean fresh air with stunning sunsets and excellent stargazing. Best to arrive in daylight to orient and take in the scene! Count on fair to good cell service, plus limited central wifi and power on request. The land contains over a mile of trails with vistas, rock features, gnarly old 'bonsai' oak trees, native plants and wildflowers. Your stay here directly supports ongoing conservation, watershed protection and fire mitigation work around the site. Birds and wildlife are prolific, mostly the friendly sort however visitors should be mindful to avoid unwelcome encounters, and any children or pets kept under close watch. Your host can address questions or concerns. The property is not a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been...prepare for a novel experience! Come as a guest, not a customer, and find yourself at home in the wild. Activity and development on site are minimized to enhance natural habitat and ambience. It's a slow and steady work in progress, not a polished product, so input and feedback is certainly welcome! Our single night was very pleasant. It's clear that Karen thinks about her property and what campers might need. The amenities were all clean and well cared for, and the farm animals were a bonus. The location is quite convenient. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed this site. We were passing through on our way back home and this site was easy to get to and offered a peaceful, quiet night. They also had electricity, water, and a hot shower, which was very convenient. The host was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Clean and beautiful campsite. Minimal light pollution, so the sky was a delight. Close to town, but far enough. Delightful hosts. Felt safe traveling with my kids. Hook up and water at site. Also there is a shower/bathroom. Nice walks and hikes nearby. Easy to find with directions. Sarah was really sweet.

Great, quiet spot not far from Ashland, so a very convenient place for us to stay when seeing a show. The sound of a nearby creek was nice as well, and the bathroom with shower is a big plus. Would definitely stay there again.

Can't wait to come back. Fell asleep to the sound of a rushing river and woke up to mourning doves. Beautiful property, kind and attentive hosts. Only 10 minutes from I5. This may be my new stop when passing through ashland.

The perfect stop on my portland to sand Diego road trip, about 15 minutes from the main highway but it felt a world away. The washroom was great, with hot water even! The icing on the cake was the trail across the road that followed along the creek - my dogs and I took several romps around there during our stay.

This is a lovely spot in a farm on a creek surrounded by rolling hills. The farm hosts a a variety of folks, all friendly. A highlight is the flock of hairless sheep! We enjoyed the scenery and how remote it felt while being just 10 miles from Ashland. Sarah and Jeff were gracious and attentive hosts, and we had a great time resting and exploring the area.
