One beautifully landscaped acre with a goldfish and tadpole pond, waterfall, large grass area and view of Mount Shasta from some areas. This is my private home. This is an extremely quiet and peaceful spot with access through a private gate. It is a one minute walk to the Gateway Hiking and Biking trailhead and right on the way to Bunny Flat and further up the mountain. I do not have bathroom facilities, but I do have electricity and drinking water. There is a covered kitchen area with a cold water sink available to wash face/hands/dishes or to obtain drinking water. There is also some counter top area, with electricity. There are no streetlights; we live in the country. There ARE lights at the property entrance gate and in the kitchen area. The vehicle camping/parking spot is on level gravel under a large oak tree and commands a generous view. The tent camping area and the covered kitchen are a short walk further, on a paved road. The tent camping area is again under giant oaks, on soft ground, nestled in a hidden cove amid the landscaping. and conveniently near the covered kitchen area. You will sleep peacefully under a multitude of stars and awaken to a chorus of early bird song, including quail, robins, finches, jays, audubon warblers and many others who may be migrating through. We are on the Pacific Flyway. Take your coffee to the pond sitting area and let the sounds of the waterfall wash over you.

There are two sites on the beautifully landscape acre. One site has availability to electricity. THERE ARE NO BATHROOM FACILITIES My private home sits on this property, which is in a very quiet and excluded residential neighborhood. You will hear lots of birds and other nature sounds at night. There is a large goldfish pond with frogs, waterlilies and other natural pond life,. There is a seating area near the waterfall with a propane fired firepit. There is a large lawn for picnics or relaxation. No tents on lawn please. There are two camping sites. One shaded spot under a large oak tree, with a view of the pond and foot access to a tent site and covered kitchen area ( sink, counter and electricity). The other site is more exposed to the sun , though shade appears with sun movement. This spot is on gravel, closer to the waterfall and is only appropriate for self contained vehicles NO LONGER THAN 25ft, NO EXCEPTIONS. Water and electricity are available at this site.

I am still gathering words to express how this land, garden & the woman that has built and cares for it is Truly a Peace of Heaven on Earth!! This land is for those looking to disconnect and connect with themselves and the mountain. I never turned music on when the sounds of nature and flowing waterfalls gave me a symphony of natures sounds. Ease of access to everything and Jacqueline is a walking angel. May all whom are looking …. stay here and experience a Peace of Land where Heaven Meets Earth!! Many Many more trips I will return to here. Viva Mount Shasta!!

The grounds are beautiful, park-like. We sat by the pond in the evening and looked at the stars and listened to the waterfall and had a glass of wine. It’s close to town and hiking. I would return in my camper.

Jackie’s place is so lovely and peaceful. If you are completely self contained I would highly recommend it. Her garden and pond are so tranquil. And her location is very close to downtown and the hiking up towards mt. Shasta peak. I will definitely be back. Hank you Jackie and Eric.

This place was perfect. Ms. Jackie is the nicest host. She has a wonderful garden all over the property and cute places to just lounge around and listen to her pond waterfall. Jackie was super responsive and made sure we were properly hosted while keeping our privacy frontmost.

Absolutely beautiful property! The landscaping is exceptional—everywhere you look, there is something thoughtfully planted and carefully maintained. It's clear a tremendous amount of care, creativity, and attention to detail has gone into creating this space. The campsite was level, comfortable, and well-kept, making for a very relaxing stay. The host was wonderful, responsive, and communicated quickly throughout the entire process. One of those rare places that feels even better in person than the photos suggest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Just a short walk to hiking trails after a long day of driving. Nice and quiet, the train was just a soft whistle in the distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little spot. Its on someones property and while they respected our privacy, it did feel a bit like you were just in someones yard. The view of shasta was amazing. Great for anyone stopping by thats fully camping in vehicle.

Staying at Jacqueline’s was lovely! We needed a one-night stay for our 25ft Airstream. We were greeted by her beautiful smile and enjoyed the surrounding gardens, pond, lawn, trees, and spectacular view of Mt Shasta!

Jacqueline has a beautiful private property with a pond, a waterfall and lovely landscaping. She takes very good care of her guests and their privacy. Her property is a short drive to town and on the way up the mountain of Mt. Shasta. Her property is best for self contained camping vehicles as she does not have bathroom facilities.
