Weekend Trip to Willow Belle Ranch

I can’t rave about this place enough! It’s an absolute gem. Had I known it was that amazing, I would have allocated more time there just exploring their expansive acreage. Britany and her husband (whose name I’m blanking on) were such lovely hosts. The trailer had everything we needed. The shower was nice and hot, and the chirping of the crickets and frogs lulled me into a restful sleep. If you are a fan of animals, this is the place for you. Their dogs were incredibly well-behaved. I met the friendliest cat I’ve ever interacted with, made friends with the horses, and delighted watching the cows roam through the pasture. There were so many different types of birds, but the highlight was watching 9 majestic Great Blue Herons take flight into the sunset. I’ll carry that moment with me for the rest of my days. I don’t usually go back to places I’ve stayed, because I like to try new things… but I will absolutely be returning here. We left with happy hearts, and a half-dozen farm fresh eggs. What an experience. Book it!

Weekend Trip to Sequoia Highland Camp

Took my husband and dog to enjoy a few nights glamping in the yurt after a week of mountain camping. This property was absolutely stunning, the sunsets were magical and the yurt was cozy and very warm. Bathrooms and hot water heaters are brand new and exceptionally clean. They were still tweaking water temperatures and when asked to make showers hotter the owner took care of the request fairly quickly. The owners were lovely and very dedicated to maintaining this property. The camp is still being renovated and I believe they are building many new things to come that will make this place even more magical. This camp is truly a retreat. A place to go and relax for a few days to unwind. Honestly, I couldn't believe how amazing the sunsets were. Just stunning. 10/10.

My husband and I had a fantastic three-night stay at Mona’s. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, and we had some wonderful conversations with Mona’s husband, Dale. Our campsite was surrounded by nice shade trees, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Although the riverbed was dry during our visit, it still offers a beautiful setting for camping with full hookups. We also made a day trip to Sequoia National Park, which is conveniently located just over an hour away.

Weekend Trip to Little Fish House near Yosemite!

The little fish house was perfect for my fiancé and I! Coming back to the tiny house was super nice after long days at Yosemite! The tub is super peaceful and stars at night were so lovely! While the bed is in a loft it is super comfy! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you could need! The bathroom was fully stocked as well for a nice hot shower! The composting toilet did throw us for a loop because we aren’t use to them. However, no scents or anything bad was coming from it so it was cool. It was just the right size and drive away from the park! Thank you for an enchanting home to retreat to!

Everything was clean and a beautiful property! they had heaters and heated blankets available and overall was a very comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful experience at Teddy’s Tiny Town! We were traveling with our van and trailer, and the space was more than enough – spacious, clean, and very well set up for large rigs. The full hookups (water, power, and sewer) worked perfectly, and the level gravel surface made parking and setup super easy. The hosts were amazing – friendly, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. We felt truly welcomed. The place is peaceful, with beautiful desert views and a great location close to town. No wonder it was a finalist for Best Hipcamp in Nevada! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

It was an easy spot for a night. Nice, clean bathroom with a warm shower. They were gracious enough to let me push back my reservation a day. Friendly and helpful! It would be super fun to be there when there is water in the river!

Outdoorsy’s is such a perfect to camp, they are super close to Bass Lake, walking distance. They have many things to do at the campsite and it’s perfect for family specially kids. We can’t wait to come back here !

Beautiful campsite for anyone seeking a quiet and safe place to stay while visiting Sequoia National Park or King’s Canyon. It has all the utilities you need, with large open space where you can play frisbee golf and kayak in the pond. Clean restroom and shower. Will definitely return for another getaway!

the day we arrived it's poured down with rain, they allowed us to set up the rv and van on the cemented area with power, water and sewer.... bathrooms were clean and spacious, shower was hot and also did a load of washing... did a camp fire with the plenty of supplied wood... we would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a get away

1 night at Wildhaven Yosemite Glamping

I had never glamped or stayed somewhere like this before, it was so comfortable and beautiful. Bathrooms were centrally located, clean, and had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion available. I loved that there were towels provided in the tent and laundry hampers in the bathroom/shower areas as well. The heated mattress pad was wonderful, between that and the space heater I slept like a baby. The only thing missing was a chocolate on the pillow and a foot rub (obviously I’m kidding).

My family and I loved staying in Lisa’s Little Fish House! It was so adorable and perfect for our stay! It looked exactly like the pictures and I would definitely recommend start gazing at night! Lisa was an amazing host and communicated really well! We will try to come back and stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Willow Belle Ranch

We had an amazing time at High Corral Camp! It’s such a cute and beautiful place, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Britany and Peter were incredible hosts—so welcoming and kind. Their daughter was absolutely adorable and got along wonderfully with our kids. We especially loved the creek and all of their well-mannered, well-trained animals. Sitting around the campfire in the evening made the trip even more special—it was the perfect way to end our days, sharing stories and enjoying the warm, cozy atmosphere. It was such a joy to be surrounded by nature, friendly animals, and great company. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special camping experience.

In late summer, early fall, there is a feeling of calm. The river slows significantly but still feels amazing to sit in. You can hear its gentle flow and soothing sound as it trickles over the rocks. This is a great time time to explore the river as it is mostly shallow with some swim holes. Most of the time it is very quiet. There is another camp down stream owned by a wonderful family. They are here a couple times per week, and also rent their camp. You may hear them having fun and engaging in target practice. The river is a shared space but it is rare to see anyone else. Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing coyotes sing at night is very common. 22 acres of camp sites and another 40 acres nextdoor to a hang gliders and paragliders landing. We have restrooms with showers attached to a geodesic dome on property. BBQ , water at sites. A seasonal 2 acre pond. We are about 25mi from sequoia and Kings Canyon right off the Highway 180 and a close drive from restaurants, stores. Beautiful views. We strive to make sure you have an amazing experience in the outdoors. We are still working on making the campground 100% so sorry in advance but what we are lacking we will make up for it with making your experience memorable hope to meet everyone soon P.S I got 6 things ask you to do while you are here 1.Enjoy your time here 2. Reservations may be required. Experience the abundant wild life and soothing sound of the Fresno River. Put your feet in the sand and just unplug for a few days. Each season is uniquely beautiful. Spring hosts an abundance of green hills, wild flowers and cooler weather. The river is higher, faster and colder. New life pops up everywhere. Baby ducks, geese, quail and beaver frequent the river. Glitter Cove waterfall is in its full glory. The nights can be cool, so come prepared. Summer is the perfect time to swim and lounge in the river. As the days heat up, the river begins to slow and warms up to a comfortable yet refreshing temperature. New beaches emerge, just waiting to be explored. In late summer, early fall, there is a feeling of calm. The river slows significantly but still feels amazing to sit in. You can hear its gentle flow and soothing sound as it trickles over the rocks. This is a great time time to explore the river as it is mostly shallow with some swim holes. Most of the time it is very quiet. There is another camp down stream owned by a wonderful family. They are here a couple times per week, and also rent their camp. You may hear them having fun and engaging in target practice. The river is a shared space but it is rare to see anyone else. Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing coyotes sing at night is very common. The rarely seen wildlife includes rattle snakes, bob cats, coyotes, fox, mountain lions and bears. Don't worry, our animal friends like to keep their distance. Hope to see you soon!
