The minute I got up the hill, her pups and peacocks welcomed me! I so adored this hipcamp! The views off from the hang out/eating area are amazing and so peaceful. It was hot, but there is a shower and it cools off in the night. The stars at night were outstanding! Her dogs were so cute and followed me everywhere!

Serene, beautiful dome on a west facing slope in the hills. Had a peaceful stay with my dog. Even though it was hot, Eli took care to provide fans, and it cooled down substantially at night. There’s an adorable full kitchen and clawfoot tub. The views are incredible!

What a lovely place, lovely host, lovely dog-host. Off grid, remote but close enough to the world, and the Dome itself is awesome. I could go on and use more superlatives but it's exactly what you want, just book it. we had our 10 year old, and our 2 dogs, who all truly enjoyed themselves (10 year old unplugged).

We had a great relaxing weekend, it was super hot but that didn't change anything with what this place offers. It was very peaceful, great night sky, loved the dog and the chickens. Nice trail on the property. Host Elias is kind and nice person, we had a great conversation and really appreciated his hospitality. We also took a day trip out to Mendocino. Overall great place to disconnect, and enjoy the peaceful nature.

Great stay, well off the beaten path. Eli is a warm and gracious host. We loved the peace and quiet of the dome and still having the creature comforts of home. It was also fun to go forage in the garden, hang out with the chickens, and see the wild ponies on the drive in. A truly dog friendly place- Lulu is a very friendly girl and will love to play with your pup.

We were amazed at the creative implementation for a Japanese experience in a small CA mountain town. The private unit was authentically designed and furnished with the peaceful Japanese influences both interior and exterior! The cedar wooden furo/hot tub was very special being surrounded by bamboo walkways and nighttime lighting to the delightful flowing creek below the property. Definitely a rejuvenating atmosphere!

Brett’s place is lovely, it’s a very nice home in a beautiful spot. We had a great time exploring the area. We appreciate that it was dog friendly. We were able to hang out at Clear Lake and there are many wineries in the area along with cute breakfast spots and shops. Going home at the end of our day to hang in the hot tub was the best. Brett is super nice, I ended up accidentally leaving my drivers license there and he was able to help me get in touch with the house cleaner Maria who sent it in the mail. I really appreciated them. Definitely recommend.

Layla and her puppies were great hosts, and helped our city dog Hopper get a little bit outside of her shell. We thought maybe we'd travel off property to the swimming hole nearby by ended up lounging, playing games on the outdoor table, cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen and hanging out by the pond watching the tadpoles and clouds float by. Very relaxing weekend -- though the sweet farm dogs and roaming peacocks kept things lively!

Wow - what a wonderful spot! We were greeted with a very clean, open and refreshing house. It is impressive how mindfully designed and well-appointed it is, with pleasant textures, textiles, colors and artful touches throughout, as well as numerous large windows to let the outside in. The comfortable seating areas are perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful, woodsy setting both indoors and out. The hot tub area is great too - perfectly designed for privacy & relaxation. The house was well-stocked with items that are often not provided at house rentals, such as Kleenex, a variety of cooking spices, every kitchen tool I needed (and we cooked every meal at the house during our 3-night stay), Tupperware perfect for picnics, coffee supplies, etc. Well done! It's one of those places you want to tell everyone about, but you also don't because you want it to be available for your next getaway!

Welcome to our family land! As an educator, I run the camp during summers primarily. As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted. This cabin is our premier ‘roughing it’ experience complete with electricity, WI-FI, TV with Roku, and an AC unit. *Married Manzanitas campsite or cabin rental is high clearance or walk-in only (no RV access) and has an ambient temperature shower at their site fed by a hose. (Hose may need to be turned on at hilltop.) Guests can also use hot shower at the hilltop. If you choose to rent this cabin, this is our really roughing it experience with no Wi-Fi or electricity, just walls, high ceiling, floor, door and bed (comfy futon). It is very peaceful. Camp has a propane fire pit and camp stove available, and table/chair seating areas. *Shaded Oak is furthest from hilltop but can accommodate small trailers (up to 15 feet…), also great sunsets and a rough trail down to our ‘fern gully’ area. Lovely site with relatively easy access to the driveway. Shower and sink access at the hilltop! …has propane fire pit, table and chairs, and water for handwashing. All sites: Pack your trash (just to the trashbin at the bottom of hill)! Add mulch to the toilets! Leave it better! Located right off coastal US highway 1, Timber Cove campground sits right at the edge of breathtaking, oceanside cliffs. Located within 45 minutes of the wine country and 2 miles from the coast, our property is 400 acres of rolling hills and redwood groves, with a creek running along its base. With miles of trails meandering through quiet woods and meadows, you will be able to revel in the tranquility of a private preserve, without sacrificing easy access to some of Sonoma County's most famous attractions. A hundred years ago, this land was used to graze sheep. Remnants of the old fence lines can still be seen in places, along with old cement troughs. You're welcome to bring your own propane fire & cooking source, but NO open wood fires due to grassy fire hazards. Property is situated at 800' above sea level (usually above the fog) across the road from the Stump Beach trailhead in Salt Point State Park - which, from our driveway, is a 2 mile hike or bike ride down to the beach. Enjoy quiet solitude of one of the most private and quiet places on the Sonoma Coast. Avoid the crowds of Salt Point, with all the basic amenities you expect. Birdwatch, play frisbee golf, hunt for mushrooms, basecamp your hikes, runs or mountain bike rides in Salt Point, or use Huckleberry Haven as the central spot to innumerable road bike rides on empty roads. The choice is yours! Special note: Huckleberry Haven is on the edge of some great wilderness! We have all sorts of wildlife sauntering by, and certainly have for decades. We recommend taking precautions to avoid interacting with curious/hungry wildlife - Don't sleep with your food in the tent, and keep camp tidy! We know there to be black bears, mountain lions, bobcats, foxes, racoons, skunks and so forth. Mountain Lions tend to avoid us, but you'll want to check on best practices to avoid bear interactions. Located on 27 private acres just 10 minutes from Glen Ellen and 15 minutes from Yountville, this stylish, well-equipped Airstream overlooks vineyards and the Sonoma Valley. Enjoy all the comforts of a modern home with incredible views of breathtaking Sonoma Valley sunsets stretching toward the ocean.
