Jorgiana was an incredible host, and both she and the property owner were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The site was clean, ready for us, and perfectly set up. You’re surrounded by saguaros the second you step outside, and there are great bike trails just minutes away. The views are absolutely stunning—sunrise and sunset both felt like something out of a painting. And if you head downtown, do yourself a favor and grab the best hot dog ever at Ruiz’s. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. We’d definitely come back.

It was a relatively private spot, and flat. The view out our back end, facing West, was spectacular, especially at sunset. All utilities worked as stated. Plenty of wildlife, javalinas( look like boars, but no big teeth. You still don't want to make them angry. We had a family of ten come thru most mornings. Very much worth it.

I had a great stay! Beautiful surroundings and right down the road from the national park. It was fairly quiet and private. The drive coming in was kind of tight because of the plants but it is the outdoors. I will say that I read the site type wrong and had to back in alone for the first time, but it was great practice, with no audience like at a campground, and I was able to get it done. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful here, my camera roll is full of pictures. Plenty of space outside for working out on the property in the morning. Perfect spot for my first time in Arizona. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a classic southwestern rustic property with original adobe, modern amenities if you enjoy a shower with a view, movie theatre popcorn, microwave, sink, loaner bikes to get into Patagonia a short distance away and much more. Most of all, the space has an easy going owner, partner and resident pup and cat. It provides for a wonderful home base from which to explore the area’s hiking, biking, water activities and birding. Weekend Trip to Desert Getaway in Avra Valley

Stayed at Site 1 at Desert Getaway in Avra Valley and loved it. My wife and I, plus our pup, really enjoyed the private, sizeable space. It’s very quiet at night with great stargazing. Location is spot on too - about 35 min to Tucson and 15 min to Saguaro National Park. Hookups were solid and easy to use. We’ll definitely be back!
