This site is only for those staying in a van, camper, or car. There is no spot to pitch a tent around this site, it is van only. We are located 15 minutes' driving distance from the entrance to Yosemite National Park (note that between May 20 to September 30th you will need a reservation to get into Yosemite) and 15 minutes driving to the historic town of Groveland. Our campsites offer sweeping views of 4 waterfalls, vibrant sunrises and sunsets, three different river canyons, and a classic Sierra Nevada foothills ecosystem.
We are less than 5 minutes away from Rainbow Pools, a local swimming hole, and 5 minutes away from the Lucky Buck, a tasty diner. We are more than happy to give you suggestions on places to explore around Yosemite, Stanislaus National Forest, and Groveland.
We have a small dog named Nala who you might see running around and we can be around as much or as little as you'd like!

We were provided with everything we needed and more! A propane fire ring, nice, well-lit seating area, table to put our stuff in and the cleanest shower/bathroom facilities I've ever seen camping. There were plenty of towels, shampoo and soap as well. Do yourself a favor and walk around the property- the view from the back side is amazing. Will stay again if in the area, and would recommend to anyone. Great stay!!
Amazing place to stay! The bathrooms and showers are new and very very clean. Easy to access and quiet. It made our day trip to Yosemite National Park a breeze. Would absolutely recommend!
This site is conveniently close to entrance to Yosemite. The hosts (family owned rafting business) are friendly and considerate. Their communication was exceptional - clear directions and responses to our questions. The restroom/bath-house is modern, roomy and very clean. Not to be overlooked are the amazing views from the property, as well as from the tent sites just above. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this spot to friends/family. One thing to keep in mind when booking - inquire as to electric hookup. We have a 30 amp connection, but the spot doesn't accommodate it. Our host kindly supplied a 120v ~ 15 amp GFCI ~ extension cord which was fine for our stay (weather did not require ac), but inquire/plan accordingly. For us it was a small hiccup that did not affect our stay negatively. Book with confidence👍

Loved our stay at Liza! The spot is quiet, has a clean shower and toilet and a stunning view in the morning! It was a perfect distance to Yosemite Valley, with a big 22-feet van it took us an hour. Ideal place to fill up with fresh water too, would highly recommend!
The camp location was perfect. It’s just a short drive to Yosemite and the cute town of Groveland, where you can get anything you need. The hosts were so kind and helpful and gave us great suggestions for hikes and things to do in the area. There is a bathhouse on property that is spotless.

Loved our RV trip to Liza's spot! This spot is very quiet at night and the bathroom and showers are in great condition. We enjoyed the convenient access to the Yosemite entrance - perfect spot from which to venture out for hikes. Liza is a great host and was very communicative before and during our trip. We'll be back!
I loved our stay at Clavey cover site. Great spot with wi-fi, terrific view clean shower and water. Such a great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. 3 min from restaurant that you should definitely check out. Such a great vibe
My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Liza's HipCamp. Warm showers, fresh towels, clean bathrooms, and friendly hosts. Liza was a great communicator and made sure that we were taken care of. The proximity to the park was perfect. We will definitely recommend this Hipcamp! 5 stars!
It didn’t have a 100% wilderness feel due to the proximity to the buildings, but we had a very comfortable stay! Clean bathrooms, big table, nice lights. Wonderful views too.
