Perfect spot outside of Yosemite Valley, the drive from the site to the valley was less than an hour. Jim had everything at the site ready for us and made it all very easy.

Site 1, located near Yosemite, offers an exceptional and comfortable camping experience. The outdoor shower provided a refreshing end to our day of exploration. The campsite is well-equipped with a charming fire pit, firewood, an electrical outlet. This site is an excellent choice for those wishing to explore Yosemite Valley without the hassle of the camping reservation system. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

Perfect camp set up
This site had everything we needed for a short stay near Yosemite! We brought our own tent and loved the set up with the fire pit, lights, and chairs. The outdoor shower was also so nice after a long day in the park. The location of the site also seemed to be the right choice for this time of year (July) as we entered the park through Big Oak Flat and Hetch Hetchy gates and had no problem waiting in line, even midday.

What a fantastic experience. Jim did a great job as host, the campsite was amazing. Close to the park entrance, hot shower, Yosemite, convenience, store, and gas station nearby,. Awesome. My daughter and I had a great time!

The site was well maintained and safe for campfires, with a dedicated sand space as well as chairs, a table, and a water jug which made washing dishes easier. Pretty close to Yosemite's Big Oak Flat entry which was a nice +!

Great proximity to the park! Loved the lights and the shower!
The road is at the bottom of the driveway, so you can hear the cars, but that didn’t stop the bears from wandering through!!
