I loved camping on Liza and Tom's land. The Merced campsite was clean and spacious, with excellent views. Marty runs the place with them, and was very welcoming and helpful. The location is just a few minutes from the western entry to Yosemite.
The campsites are well laid-out, and toilet/bath facilities are excellent and well-maintained. I wholeheartedly recommend Colfax Spring as a camping home base to explore this great park.

We had the absolute best time here! The hosts were wonderful and the views were amazing! Super close to Yosemite and we felt very safe. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great stay! Cozy, quiet, and calm. Only 20-30 mins from the Yosemite NP entrance.
I found this spot at the last minute for a spontaneous trip to Yosemite and it was a hidden gem! Highly recommend.

We loved everything about this stay. We were two and two dogs in a 21’ camper van and stayed in #4 with a view of the waterfall. Having walked around the camp we would have been happy in any of the sites. The host greeted us upon bathrooms and was welcoming. The showers are spacious and spectacular. It’s close to the park but far enough out to get a more private camping experience. This is at the top of our list and we hope to return.
