Nancy is the kindest most communicative host! We had to cancel due to a family emergency and she followed up checking in with the deepest of compassion. Staying at her place in the future is an obvious choice for us! Genuine kindness is everything. I’m glad our paths crossed and look forward to our next visit!

Great experience! We stayed at Nancy's spot for a night in passing as we went through Big Sur and it was better than expected. All the other campers were really sweet, great environment. Nancy made us feel right at home as soon as we met her <3

Feeding Daisy and Hannah, playing darts and cards, hanging by the campfire, talking to other visitors at the ranch - these were some of our favorite moments at Nancy’s place. My high school aged daughter and I slept in the bunkhouse for two nights and loved our stay. We felt very secure and it was a great balance of privacy and alone time, while also having a lovely community of people visiting if you wanted to hang out and play games or chat. We definitely hope to return, and be sure to bring a lot of carrots!

Nancy was a gracious host and very kind to our family with four kids. The horse, donkey, dogs & lizards were fun for them. A great stay!

Our stay at Mi Querida was so special. On our way to Big Sur, it was an unknown necessary stop and we can't wait to go back. The two draws- Nancy's one-of-a-kind camp experience and the incredible beauty, history, and warm sun/cool breeze combo! My kids and I can't wait to go back to San Juan Bautista and stay at Mi Querida. Thanks so much for the great hospitality, Nancy!

Nancy is very kind and the animals were so great! I loved feeding Hannah and Daisy carrots. It was beautiful there and playing darts was great too! - Georgia, age 12
