We were delighted with the site’s access to water and power, neither of which we needed, but were nice bonuses. I’d recommend arriving at this site in the daylight as sites nearby are mid construction and the last section of the road is not paved.

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. Loved the views of Weaver’s Needle and 4 Peaks, the quail and bunnies, and the serenity of the desert. A perfect location for visiting family in Scottsdale, Phoenix and the East Valley too. Close to great restaurants. Loved the full hookups and the privacy. Thanks Lynn! We’ll be back for sure. :)
PS- as she mentions in her description, there is a dirt road to get to the campground so if you’re going to be coming and going, an extra vehicle is much easier than driving an rv back and forth.

Please don't follow GPS, call Lynn to come get you. She was super nice and definitely took us the best route to the farm. Kid (and us) loved seeing all the farm animals. And waking up to roosters crowing and farm fresh eggs was a bonus. Lots of hiking in the area. We found this site on hipcamp after our original reservation during spring training fell thru day of and Liz rescued what was quickly becoming a nightmare of a trip.

Per the previous reviews, the road is precarious. My unit has high clearance, so I was fine.

Again, per previous reviews, there were additional RV's and my spot was behind these units with no view, other than to look at those units or look at a wash and lot containing plumbing piping. The other RV's have a view of the mountains. The site is very unkept.

My purpose for this visit was to work out the systems of my new travel trailer for 2 nights.

Not what we expected. Left as soon as we could. The directions they sent us took us down a road that looked more like a dirt track (hills)with no room to back out. It messed up the back end of the trailer due to bottoming out. We later found that the way the GPS wanted us to go was MUCH better. There are several full-time residents there with atypical camp setups. We never got the eggs we paid for. The spot sunk in one spot as we camped, so we had to level every day. Never met Lynn. I can only assume it was her avoiding us hoping we don't sue her over our 5th wheel.

The road in was terrible. In fact, it damaged my trailer, and my brand new pick up truck. You're literally driving on the desert floor for over a mile to get there. Washouts, ruts, camel humps etc. all wreak havoc on your equipment. They say you can get in with up to a 40' trailer. Mine is 37' and I bottomed out 5 times. Once you turn on the windy dirt road, you're committed. There is no backing out. Hosts were nice enough, but I think a more accurate depiction of the road in is needed. We ordered Uber Eats one night and the driver was literally crying when she arrived at our trailer. (Like, literal tears streaming down her face. She said she was so scared of roads and how far off grid it was.) Once we set up camp, all of the amenities worked great. Power, water and septic dump. Great views from the RV area, too. There seem to a couple of full-time folks living there so it's not a "park" so to speak. More of an area out behind someone's home where they let people live. The one neighbor we met was very nice and accommodating. Just kind of an odd area.

Great location, close to hiking and off-roading trails. The RV hookups are very nice, just like a campground. We really enjoyed our stay and will be going back soon!
