The 1899 Historic Hotel offers free hotel tours, Gold Panning onsite, Outdoor picnic tables, Parties and Events, Adventure Tours to our Gold Mines - you can see in the distance from the 1899 Historic Hotel. There are nature walks next to the property, as well as horse trails. This is the roping capital of America so you will be surrounded by bull riders, cowboys and miners - for real! Wickenburg is 10 minutes away with restaurants and everything cowboy. This Historic Hotel is a giant piece of Arizona history.

Heritage District is home to our weekly Farmer’s Market, a bike trail along the canal, splash pad, parks, restaurants, breweries, cocktail lounges, bars, and shopping. This area is known for being safe, friendly, and very walkable. The RV spot is a 0.3 mile walk to a fish taco shop, a cocktail lounge and an art gallery, 0.4 mile walk away from the Farmer’s Market, the nearest ice cream shop and a historic BBQ restaurant, 0.5 mile walk to a performing arts venue, a dog friendly brewery with a dog “spaw”, and an arcade! Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed. Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance. (Horse turnouts are an extra $25 each/per night)

We have one RV space (campsite only-No RV) with full hook ups next to a shared beautiful pool and gazebo. Your RV space has a pedestal with three optional plugs: 50/30/20 amp plugs. All have breaker switches. This RV pad is decomposed gravel and has it's own brick patio. Your RV space is separated via brick wall, vinyl, and pool fencing. The entire property is a quarter acre in a quiet Mesa AZ neighborhood, just North of Gilbert, highway 60, and close to shopping and restaurants. The RV pad is accessed via a 25 foot wide drive up to a 14 foot wide RV gate. Your vehicle will sit on level decomposed granite. Your RV pad is 80 feet long and 20 feet wide. We are Kevin and Tammii. We moved to Mesa in 2019 to build our own “Field of Dreams”. In developing our property we added a Hip-Camp site to our vision. We’ve enjoyed hosting people from all around the country. We’re can accommodate guests for up to three weeks and unable to offer monthly rates. We welcome families with up to two children. Pets are welcome, two or less, and we have a designated pet area for their use. There are two nice sitting areas, a laundry shed with washer, dryer, and drying rack. Internet access is also available. More about the “Field of Dreams”: Our site has a paved level concrete pad with 50 amp service, water, and septic. RVs are required to come with empty holding tanks because of the septic system. We can accommodate up to 43 feet in length RVs. There is a nice landscaped patio area with table, chairs, umbrella, and a privacy screen. There is also a propane fire pit available. Our site is close to Costco, Starbucks, local restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a mall. There is nearby mountain biking, hiking, and site seeing. We are 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix in a quiet residential area.

We have room to store up to 4 horses with our mare motels as well as an 100x300 arena right on the property. Fully fenced. Outhouse on sight if you are spending the day working with your horses and don’t want to dirty your RV. Furry friends are welcome as long as you don’t leave them unattended as we have coyotes roaming as well. Close to all amenities, 15 min to Cave Creek, 30 min to Scottsdale, 40 min to Phoenix. Lovely gracious hosts and a perfect location in Gilbert ! The neighborhood was safe, friendly, and quiet. The trains were not a bother and hardly heard them. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and responsive. My dogs loved having the yard to hang out in secured all around and that was a huge plus for us. We would definitely stay again !

Nice enough place. Nothing fancy here. Just a big backyard with some shade and grass. The flowers and shade do make it comfortable. A few vehicles stored here and there. It meets the need for a decent place to stay for a couple of nights and the people are very friendly and accommodating. I can't give it a rave review but I don't really have anything bad to say either. It gets the job done and I would stay again if needed.

Directions clear, found the site after dark without issue. Cory is responsive and provides a welcoming site. Site has two well placed trees to provide natural shade for the tent. Site is fenced in, with a swing close gate - provides peace of mind for those with kids. Plenty of space, we fit a 10 person and a canopy with space for likely 1-2 more tents. We biked to the lake, very tucked location, not public access, so had it to ourselves. Great view of the distant mountains. Fish may be smarter than us as we only managed a small tilapia, but the lake is lively with plenty of fish jumping out along the shore line. Portable bathroom was pristinely clean, one of the best we’ve seen. Site is well kept, we look forward to returning and seeing what else Cory can do with the place! Most importantly - Cory is a phenomenal host - welcoming, helpful, and laid back. Especially welcoming and willing to help with anything we needed - he went above and beyond to make our weekend trip great. Absolutely recommend this site!

The Otterlimits was the perfect spot for us to regroup on our road trip. The mesquite grove lends to the peaceful atmosphere. The property itself, butts up to the National Forest, and is a short walk to the Verde River, and a floaters take out. On down the road is an amazing view of the river and rock formations, with a view of cliff dwellings and picnic tables. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

We are situated adjacent to state land that displays a majestic Saguaro forest in the mountains (where our small rural community meets the wilderness). Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations. We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here. We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash. Daytime arrival highly recommended! Our 1 acre property just outside of the heart of Central Phoenix has two legacy pine trees, one of which holds a treehouse that was originally built as an extra space for our family and is now open for guests. Not too long ago, our neighborhood roads were dirt, and there are still several horse ranches in the neighborhood. Hiking trails start at the end of our street leading to the Phoenix Mountains and a 3 minute drive will get you to Dreamy Draw Park and Piestewa Peak, with endless miles of hiking and grand views of the city.
