We’ve enjoyed hosting people from all around the country. We’re can accommodate guests for up to three weeks and unable to offer monthly rates. We welcome families with up to two children. Pets are welcome, two or less, and we have a designated pet area for their use. There are two nice sitting areas, a laundry shed with washer, dryer, and drying rack. RVs are required to come with empty holding tanks because of the septic system. We can accommodate up to 43 feet in length RVs. It is a quarter acre corner lot. The RV pad is built on the entire right side of the property from the street to back, so it's very private. It's approximately 1/3 of the entire property and made of decomposed gravel, accessed via it's own entrance, and set next to a private brick patio. It's separated via brick wall in back and on the right, along with vinyl fence, and pool fencing on the left. The RV pad is generally back-in design, accessed via your 25 foot wide drive that leads straight up to a 14 foot wide RV gate. Your RV, toys, and tow vehicle will sit on level decomposed granite. Learn more about this land: Park your RV, trailer, or camper van on our 1.5 acre property. We are located near the cities of Cave Creek, Scottsdale, and Phoenix AZ. There is close access to numerous trails for mountain biking and hiking in the beautiful Sonoran Desert! This spot is partial hookup with water and both 30 amp and 50 amp power. There is a dumping station approximately 2 miles away for your septic needs. Enjoy the beauty of the nearby desert and mountains. It is common to hear the coyotes and owls and other wildlife at night. The javelina herd often passes through as well as an occasional bobcat. Feel free to say hello to Luna, our Belgian Malinois! She hangs out in our fenced-in backyard which is separate from the RV location! Welcome!

Jared’s land is a gem for both my kids who play club ball! We parked our 32 ft C Class motorhome easily under his covered tin awning with a lovely shaded tree. His lawn was spectacular for my heeler to run and play after the sun went down. Jared was such a delight host! Would 100% recommend but please don’t book too much cuz we want to come back again real soon! 😂 We also found out quickly he does surfing lessons (yes in the desert! ) and took the kids surfing immediately to see him. They had a blast!! I’m elated I chose hippcamp to book! Thanks!! Happy travels everyone!!

Weekend Trip to Ash Creek Canyon Preserve

I had a great time camping at Ash Creek Canyon! When I arrived, Andy offered to take me on a tour of the property on his ATV to help me get an idea of how to spend my time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and it's history. I ended up taking a beautiful hike along the creek to swim in one of the canyon's several natural pools. Later on I explored one of the old mines, although I wish I had brought extra batteries for my flashlight so I could venture further. At night, the sky was filled with more stars than I think I've seen in my entire life. Overall, the experience felt very private and secluded, which was exactly what I was looking for on this trip. Definitely plan on returning again someday.

This place is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend spending a few nights here. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating. We did a mine tour, hiked to a swimming waterfall-endless beauty with very knowledgeable hosts. The history of the land was very interesting!

Shhhh…!!! Don’t tell anyone about this place!!! I’m going to gate keep Ash Creek because my family, my dogs and I enjoyed every minute of it!!! The creek, the waterfalls, endless hiking, off roading and the 360 views… WOW!!! We will definitely be back to do more adventures at Ash Creek. The only bad thing was I kept forgetting to take photos but the core memories…. We will never forget this place.

This is our second stay at Spencer and Melissa’s house. It’s a great location while we visit family in Tempe. The spot is perfect for us and our dog. Their dog plays well with ours which is a great way to get exercise. Communication is great and we would highly recommend.

Heidi is a great hostess. Communication was timely, informative and helpful. The private spot is perfect for a small RV but still had plenty of room to park my truck, along with room to set up my table and grill. If you have a 30 amp RV bring a 50 amp adapter. Sinclair gas station 10 min to the east has a dump station for $15 making it easy to drop off trash and waste on your way out of town. I stayed for 3 nights with my dog and absolutely recommend this spot!
