Camping sites are situated at the back of the property just a quick 5-minute walk from the car park. We'll transport your gear to your campsite so you can get set up quickly and start exploring the property or just kick back and relax. And even though the campsites are isolated you'll still enjoy the convenience of clean regular flushing toilet facilities. She is very friendly, loves kids, but she's a big meat head who is still learning.
I use a squirter bottle to keep her settled. One look at that and she's off. I'll supply you with yours while you are here.

The Whip Stick Forest campsite is located on the outskirts of Bendigo. This is an ideal place to take a break away from it all. Peace and tranquility surrounded by nature. We are just far enough away from the town to offer the outdoors feel and close enough to town to enjoy sightseeing, and many outdoor activities and access to shops, fuel and most of the usual shopping needs.
Here you will find a nice open space amongst the gum trees with drinking water, toilet, and outdoor shower.

Relax under the stars with a warm fire in a secluded spot in the middle of open space and the fresh air.

She has a thing for shoes, so please make sure they are always hidden away.
Along with anything else you don't want a naughty puppy to make a meal of.
If you don't like dogs you probably shouldn't stay here as my dogs love people.
Only minutes from town where you will find supplies, close to the local swimming pool and 10 minutes from a popular watering hole.

Please note, Millers Farm is a place for travelers who are after a peaceful, relaxing camping experience. It is not a place for rowdy groups.
We love all animals including Dogs, but unfortunately, due to our roaming animals, we cannot entertain pets anymore.
Long periods of wet weather may affect some of the camping areas. Therefore, we recommend keeping an eye on the weather report close to your stay and if you have any concerns, please touch base with us!
OUR LOCATION:
Neerim South is located in the southern foothills of the Great Dividing Range, there is so much to see and do nearby, including Neerim South Brewery, Toronga Water Falls, walking trails, the famous Noojee Pub, Mt Baw Baw tourist drive, Blue rock Lake which is great for fishing and swimming, there's old historical trestle bridges, Walhalla Mining town and lots more.

Millers Farm was sensational. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. They gladly took us on a tour of the farm and we had the pleasure of meeting all their animals, including our favourite, Bonnie the Highland cow. The sites were a nice size and quite picturesque. A wonderful camp kitchen is on site for those who need it. Would highly recommend and would gladly return.

We stayed as a big group and it was the perfect setting for a group camping trip. There was plenty of space for everyone to set up comfortably, relax, play games, cook together and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded.
The property had such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and being surrounded by nature made the whole weekend feel like a proper escape. We spent our day enjoying the outdoors and our evenings around the campfire, sharing food, music, plenty of laughs and making memories together.
Ginnie was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful, and made the whole experience easy from arrival to departure. You could tell a lot of thought had gone into creating a space where people can genuinely switch off and enjoy themselves.
For a large group looking for a peaceful and memorable camping experience, we couldn’t recommend Ginnie & Garry’s place enough. We had such a fantastic weekend and would absolutely love to come back again.

Our third stay here. Every time has been great. Jagged some great mid winter weather and with the lake almost full and lots of green around this location is even more stunning. We had the place to ourselves as well. Will be back again as it’s a great spot and we can catch up with family who live up here.

What an amazing stay! Kate and family were lovely, the animals were amazing and so well loved and cared for - from Priscilla the turkey who loves hugs to George the cute ram who just enjoys ambling next to you on your walk through meeting all the animals! Absolutely precious.
Hosts made us feel welcome, gave great info about local area and were present but also gave us space to enjoy and have privacy.

Absolutely loved camping at Badgery Point. Have already told my friends about it. So peaceful camping at the lake.
Definitely my favourite place to camp.

We loved our stay at whispering gums. The hosts were super friendly, it is clear with the small touches that they are campers, it made the stay much more enjoyable. It is peaceful, in a great location with shops close by and heaps to do close by in the area to keep the whole family entertained. We have stayed at a lot of hip camps and this is one of our favourites.

Thank you to Kate for the wonderful hospitality, and Darren for providing a heater for the cooler night and some delicious farm-fresh eggs.
Also the most well provioned outdoor/indoor space even including a microwave, toaster and a coffee machine.
A lovely Gippsland location, with plenty of chickens, roosters turkeys wandering around the campsite to keep you company, an immersive experience perfect for families.

A really special stay. The farm setting was beautiful and it was lovely to be so close to nature. Our hosts couldn't have been friendlier — always available to help and full of tips on exploring the local area. A particular mention for Grandma, who came by every morning to check we were settled and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Caught a few trout that were released back into the lake.

100% would stay here again! After 7 weeks on the road, this was our last stop before going home and it was exactly what we were searching for! Super peaceful and we loved it. Our 2wd and NOT off road van handled the drive in well enough, though there were a number of potholes and some deep rivets we were able to easily navigate those and got in / out easily. The ground fire pits were huge but unfortunately the communal wood was mainly wet and rotting, but that's to be expected in winter! We probably would have taken wood in with us if we realised that it was wet, would be great if the owner offered loads of dry wood for an extra fee. Our main reason for booking was my obsession with Highland cows and the bulls were in the paddock next to the camping area so it was great being able to see them. We stayed in Heyfield site which was super close to the toilet and wood pile.
So glad that properties like this are offered up for camping, we left very happy campers indeed.

A clean and spacious paddock in a quite spot. We spend 3 days here and would come back again. Although the weather was cold we felt comfortable knowing there was clean toliets, a warm outdoor private onsight shower, rubbish bins and fire pits! 4 other campers where quitely spaced out during our stay over a weekend most people kept to themselves.

We had an amazing time camping at Faraway Lodge. This private spot has fantastic views, great facilities and is close enough to town or local attractions if you do want to go out and explore. This was our second stay, and defiantly won't be our last!

We enjoyed Chrissy’s hospitality and the company of her lovely pups. We were staying on site 3 in our opinion the most private especially if you back in. Power & water available but a long connection needed. We would definitely recommend anyone needing a quick escape and very good value for money
