Please note, Millers Farm is a place for travelers who are after a peaceful, relaxing camping experience. It is not a place for rowdy groups.
We love all animals including Dogs, but unfortunately, due to our roaming animals, we cannot entertain pets anymore.
Long periods of wet weather may affect some of the camping areas. Therefore, we recommend keeping an eye on the weather report close to your stay and if you have any concerns, please touch base with us!
OUR LOCATION:
Neerim South is located in the southern foothills of the Great Dividing Range, there is so much to see and do nearby, including Neerim South Brewery, Toronga Water Falls, walking trails, the famous Noojee Pub, Mt Baw Baw tourist drive, Blue rock Lake which is great for fishing and swimming, there's old historical trestle bridges, Walhalla Mining town and lots more.

Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force.
A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas.
In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites.
You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage.
30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc.

Had a great time at Millers farm. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The animals were all so lovely, one thing to be mindful is the turkeys/chickens can be a bit too friendly. The turkeys had a habit of jumping on my car which caused scratches. Just something to be mindful of.

Such a beautiful get away with the most insane rainforest view! We enjoyed our time so much and the dogs loved it even more. Definitely need to book the viewing platform as the panoramic views with the sunset were otherworldly. We will be back for sure!

Weekend Trip to Whispering Gums
A beautiful, quiet, and peaceful spot! There was 6 of us in 3 groups, the paddock is quite hilly so if you've got a big group with tents it could be difficult finding flat spots but we managed! The toilet was a portable camping toilet which was great and had its own dedicated outhouse. The shack by the damn was a great addition and perfect for chilling out of the rain. There was even water provided which was great. Huge property to wander, and extra quiet with Sue's house being the only one near by. Sue was wonderful and she's done a great job building a fantastic hipcamp! Thanks Sue :)

Excellent spot! Sites were huge, plenty of free firewood. Toilet facilities simple but clean. Loved seeing the highland cows even if it was only for a short time. The sound of the donkey was hilarious. Absolutely loved our 3 night stay. Didn’t want to leave.

Such a beautiful place to stay, felts like we were miles away but really it’s only a 30 min drive to Benalla if you needed anything.
Amenities were clean and well maintained, hot water in showers was the perfect temperature. The small honesty shop with camping essentials at the amenities block is a great touch, had all the essentials you might need at a reasonable price too.
Big flat areas to camp, with plenty of space for kids to play.
We will be coming back and staying again in the future.

Had an amazing trip and would definitely revisit. Jem was friendly, responsive and very accommodating. She provided firewood promptly when requested and gave us a great campsite close to the toilets and shower facilities. The property was well maintained and everything was exactly as described. Overall, a very enjoyable camping experience and we would highly recommend staying here.

One of the best Hipcamps we’ve been to, so much space to find a nice spot to camp without people nearby. Easy to find and access. Owners communicate really well. Definitely on the list to return to.
We were almost without a spot for the long weekend with our original booking cancelled for being too wet. I sent messages out to several site owners and Prue came to the rescue! A few messages back and forth on a Friday night and we were away the next morning with the kids.
Thank you for saving our long weekend, we all had a ball!
