The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Great quiet weekend in private camp-site. Plenty of room on site for multiple size and style set ups. The mosquitos came in as expected but with coils and sandlewood sticks we had no issues. Do need to watch out for limbs on large trees, catch 22 for shade.

Riverside is a lovely spot, level and sheltered (& freshly mown). Plenty of sunshine for solar and beautiful shady trees along the riverbank. The hosts are wonderful, welcoming, and genuinely kind people.
There is some passing traffic and the site is close to the road, so I kept my puppy on a leash, but that was a small trade-off for such a convenient, relaxing getaway close to home.

A very peaceful location all to yourself so close to town and the beach. Well set up with some solar lights, fire-pit, table, benches and swing. The dogs loved the freedom and there are some great off lead dog beaches close by. The elevated location meant we also had some lovely cooling breezes.

We loved Amani Acres! Such a peaceful, lush & cosy little camp all to ourselves, not too far away from the convenience and hustle & bustle of the Gold Coast & Tweed Heads. We ended up extending our stay! The owner was lovely & friendly but still respected our privacy. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area again!

Amazing location and upon arrival we were greeted with a delightful space lite with lovely solar lights, surrounded by crickets and frogs and the sound of the ocean! It felt like “coming home”.
This is our second time visiting and Scott the host is very responsive and easy to talk to.
We will always recommend this location and being so close to town and beach it’s a perfect place to camp. There is a bbq table and fire pit with ample seating and beautiful swing for the kiddos to enjoy.
We will be back in the new year!

We had a lovely time at Cabarita beach station. Scott has a wonderful patch of the world, and we are very grateful he is happy to share it with the Hipcamp community. Wonderul set up with picnic table, firepit, solar lights, and tree swing. Excellent communication and directions from Scott made arrival and set up a breeze. We would love to stay again soon.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. Beautiful, perfectly maintained quiet site. Large, flat, breezy with a huge fire pit and well-stocked with wood. Easy walk into town and the beach. Scott was great with communications. Only down side was that we failed to spot a koala despite heroic efforts. Looking forward to a return visit!

Really close to town and beach with only minimal road noise.
We loved having the place to ourselves.
It is surrounded by very tall gum trees which made me a bit nervous to camp under.
