The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, two sites are available to be booked. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.

Great for a large group!
Nice secluded spot with a very usable undercover communal area. Easy walk to the beach. We caught fish out the front and enjoyed a fire of an evening. Would recommend.

Great private camp with great facilities. Good for those who like to bush camp but don’t want to bring everything. Tappy has set it up well.

Tappy's Tours and Camping - Site 1
very private site
a tucked away campsite thats very private and only a 100metres from the beach. One thing to note here is you cant see the ocean from the site but you can hear it. Its tucked away and very private and well equiped with 2 drop toilets and a camp kitchen and bush shower which was a big bonus, John had good comunication . Getting there is 4wd only and access is from Main beach via tthe causeway or George Nothling drive. We enjoyed our stay but take insect repellent with you to keep the horse flies and mozzies at bay. You wont find too many people on the beach at this location but close enough to do a quick run into Point lookout to expore the many walks Straddie has to offer. Gorge walk is a must. Thanks John for a great stay

We loved John's camping site. Clean, private and close to Point Lookout. He made us feel welcome by meeting us before driving onto Main Beach, helping us with deflating our tyres then driving in front of us to his site. Showed us around the site and how to use shower and toilets. Will definitely return! Thanks John!

Exciting but relaxing campimg!
Beach bush camping at its best! Very private campsite less than 2 minutes walk to the ocean. We went to the beach early in the morning and saw a few kangaroos. The beach is empty of people, which is so impressive! The campsite is fully equipped with washrooms, a shed, showers and toilets. John, the site owner, was very helpful and gave us the first-time beach camping primer. Driving on the beach was very exciting. We will go back again.
