The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes.
Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums.
The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience.
A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals.
Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.
A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

This unique hydrological feature sustains rare acidic, low-nutrient lakes, such as the perched Brown Lake and the water-table window Blue Lake, as well as spring-fed swamps, which are crucial habitats for specialized and sometimes endemic species.
We are situated at the meeting point of temperate and tropical waters, with the surrounding Sea Country hosting exceptional marine biodiversity. This is home to our people, and our family connection stretches back into deep time.

This unique hydrological feature sustains rare acidic, low-nutrient lakes, such as the perched Brown Lake and the water-table window Blue Lake, as well as spring-fed swamps, which are crucial habitats for specialized and sometimes endemic species.
We are situated at the meeting point of temperate and tropical waters, with the surrounding Sea Country hosting exceptional marine biodiversity. This is home to our people, and our family connection stretches back into deep time.
Tents, swags, and rooftop tents are welcome. This site is not suitable for caravans or camper trailers.

Absolutely beautiful 😍 we will be back! Large camp areas, we didn't feel like we were packed in like sardines.
Plenty of room for the camp set up and activities. We have a baby and didn't feel like we were inconveniencing our neighbours. The kids loved the water and the slide.

The camp sites were huge. Great access to the lake. Kids loved the slide and we all loved the privacy. Over all very happy with the stay. I would highly recommend regardless if it is fam time or just a couples retreat

Awesome place. Quiet and relaxing, not far from shops and beach. Hosts are very responsive and accommodating, and also respect your privacy. Sites are private and have enough room to think you're there on your own. Highly recommend.

The sites at Lakeview are very generous and cater for all. We stayed on site 6, which was huge.
Plenty for young and old to do. Not far from local shops to top up supplies. Just an ideal place to fill out and relax with family and friends

We camped at area 9 and it was just lovely. Very spacious, flat areas to park the van. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake. It was a very hot weekend but we had a shady tree and a lovely breeze blowing.

Absolutely loved staying here. So beautiful and peaceful, I live in my caravan full time and I didn’t want to leave. Mitch and Holly are both so kind and accomodating. Will be back someday. If you’re looking for something relaxing, private, beautiful and peaceful for a great price, this is the place to go :)

We loved camping at Lakeview! We were camped in Area 5 right on the beautiful sandy lake. The grandkids and our Labrador loved being able to wander in for a dip to cool down.
The slip and slide was a big hit with both the big and little kids 😁. Beautiful flat grassy campsite. Lots of activities with canoes and kayaks available for use and playground.
