Please keep in mind that this Hipcamp is a 'Farm Stay', on a working property which is also our big back yard. Your privacy is assured, however, if you're looking for total seclusion, this may not be the Hipcamp property for you.
A grassy flat tent site is tucked away shaded by trees. Powered Caravan site is also grassy and flat with a large area for kids to play. If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access.
Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.
You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves.

Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)

The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges.
Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers.
At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use.
Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them.

If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access.
Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.
You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves.

We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges.
Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers.
At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use.
Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them.

Our 330 acre property backs onto the beautiful D'Aguilar National Park and is still heavily treed with some cleared areas for cattle grazing. The property has many interesting native birds, animals and trees for you to discover. There are many walking tracks both gentle and steep within the property.
Approximately 2 hours from Brisbane CBD.
Either stay in our popular cabin for those creature comforts, or camp next to our creek bed areas and enjoy the serenity. There is No cellular service around the camping areas to help you unwind!

Really lovely secluded spot close enough to travel to Dayboro for supplies, but it feels far enough away to relax immediately on arrival. We stayed with another two vans and a rooftop camper setup and there was plenty of space in the middle for games during the day and a firepit at night. The addition of a toilet and a hot shower made it a comfortable stay for everyone.

The stay was awesome, great space for kids to run around, play and ride bikes, kids loved interacting with the chickens. Ben was a great host very easy to talk too and shared good knowledge of things and activities to do in the area. Instructions on how to access the property were very clear and easy to understand also. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning again soon.

We had a group of families with kids and Dogs over the Easter break and it was a fantastic camp spot. It has everything for the parents and kids, Nice flat ground to set up and a great spot on the creek for the kids to spend all day playing around which gave us adults to be able to take in the peaceful surroundings and watch the world go by listening to the running creek. Having this camp site separate was great as we had heaps of space for the caravans and for everyone to kick a footy and a game of cricket not having to stress about cars and other camper driving through. Great to have the toilet on site and great camp fire area overlooking the creek and to watch the stars at night. We will definitely be back as its so close to us yet a world away when your camped up. Thanks Patrick and Tom for a great spot and the great communication.

We had a wonderful stay at Middle Paddock at Private Mountain View Retreat, which we chose for our “van shakedown” trip.
From the outset, Ben was welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil considering its location in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.
The location was perfect for our needs, with convenient access to Narangba, Brisbane City, Chermside Shopping Centre, and Eatons Hill Hotel, which was only a short 10-minute Uber ride away.
For anyone needing to stay close to Brisbane while enjoying a quiet retreat, we would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable cabin nestled among trees and horses. Great for families, campfire friendly, and we opted in for a horse activity, my daughter loved being able to ride a horse. Lovely hosts, great communication. Beechmere beach is just a 5 minute drive away.

If you want remoteness close to local towns, this is it. Fantastic out-of-the-way spot, large open camping area. We had beautiful breezes, beautiful sunsets and beautiful sky's.

Apart from the very narrow entrance across the culvert, we had a very quiet one night stay and loved it. Great views at the top of the campground which was nice and grassy. We bought lots of bottles of pickles, jam, olives etc. Would recommend. recommend

We loved our caravanning experience right next to the water at Lakeview camp. Plenty of room on beautifully kept lush green lawns really complimented the refreshing experience with the supplied canoes, kayaks and fire pits. Our sight was powered which was terrific in such an awesome setting. If you’re looking for a great Hipcamp, you won’t be disappointed at Lakeview Camp, QLD.

Loved camping at sarabah stub in particular lower platypus camp spot. Plenty of room and shade on the lower section. Lots of distance between sites and very peaceful. Saw lots of turtles but not the elusive platypus. Thanks for having us.

This was our second time booking at Sarabah Stud, Stoney Creek site and we are already talking about the next trip there.
Great location, owners are lovely & welcoming. Toilet is clean, although a little bit of a walk at that site so I’d recommend taking you own.
This place is stunning & the owners clearly look after it. Thank you for having us & we can’t wait for our next visit.

Dave’s dell is a secluded spot next to flying fox creek, enough water to cool off and heaps of fire wood laying around. It’s beautiful country out at Ferny glen nice rolling hills with cattle and pine trees everywhere hard to believe it’s only 45mins from the coast. I’d love to come back again
