We're on a quiet acreage block just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Close enough to everything, far enough from the noise. 25 minutes to Brisbane CBD 10 minutes to Westfield Chermside shopping centre 9 minutes to Eatons Hill Hotel 4 minutes to the start of the Bruce Highway / access to the Sunshine Coast Out the back you'll find a big open paddock to set up camp, kick a footy, and let the kids run around. There are horses grazing in the paddock next door, a tennis court available to use, and our flock of 17 friendly chooks wandering around (the kids love them). You can see views of the mountains in the distance, and we get some cracking sunsets. The block is on a slight slope, so levelling likely required. Power can be provided if required, and there is a tap nearby with town water to hook up to. We're an easy going family of 6 (4 kids), you might see us around playing outside before we head in for the evening.

Set up your van or pitch your tent in our Middle Paddock, and enjoy the quietness we enjoy on our acreage property, but still have close access to the city. We have a tennis court onsite which you're free to use. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are only allowed on leash, as we have horses and chickens on the property. Small firepit provided on request. Need to keep noise to a minimum after dark, as we do have neighbours not too far away. Our property would suit people needing easy access to Brisbane city, or passing through Brisbane on their way through to more remote areas. We are within a 5 minute drive - Woolworths - Bottle shop - Pharmacy - Bunnings - Super Cheap - Good Guys & more - Restaurants in Albany Creek - Restaurants in Carseldine Our property is roughly 25 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

Great spot super close to Brisbane. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, in a safe and secure area with ponies, chickens and a tennis court for the kids. Water hook up and power if you select that option. Ben was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would stay again for sure. Highly recommend.

The stay was awesome, great space for kids to run around, play and ride bikes, kids loved interacting with the chickens. Ben was a great host very easy to talk too and shared good knowledge of things and activities to do in the area. Instructions on how to access the property were very clear and easy to understand also. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Middle Paddock at Private Mountain View Retreat, which we chose for our “van shakedown” trip. From the outset, Ben was welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil considering its location in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. The location was perfect for our needs, with convenient access to Narangba, Brisbane City, Chermside Shopping Centre, and Eatons Hill Hotel, which was only a short 10-minute Uber ride away. For anyone needing to stay close to Brisbane while enjoying a quiet retreat, we would absolutely stay here again.

Ben and his family were very friendly and accommodating during our stay! They have a beautiful property, plenty of space, and our kids had the best time playing together and chasing the chickens. They are conveniently located close to the city / public transport, which was perfect for our visit. Thank you Ben & family for being such wonderful hosts, we hope to be back someday!

This hidden escape is the perfect mini-farm stay for families with young kids. We loved feeling like we were at home surrounded by chickens and horses. The host family were accommodating and friendly, allowing us to set up while our kids bonded. Instructions to the camp were clear and there was plenty of space for our caravan. This was our first hipcamp experience and we are so glad we chose this space to break the ice.

Beautiful place to stay close to the city. Was only 30min from the leukaemia foundation which was great to spend time with a family member. Owner was very nice, bit of pain the second night due to some electrical issues which was all sorted out other then that was a great place to spend 3 nights.

Our hosts were lovely and very easy to communicate with. However, we have a large van (30 foot) and car (Ram 1500) and found accessing the site very tight, particularly when leaving. The site itself is very spacious but overall we thought it was quite expensive for what you get.

Nice and close to where we needed to be. Great location. Ben was superb with communication. Nice and safe. Would recommend. We found the angle into the paddock tight for a 23ft van. Anything bigger might have trouble. Heaps of space otherwise!

We stayed mid May we had an appointment in Brendale (city). Ben's property is so close to the city a great base if you want to explore the city. The middle paddock was private & secure. No traffic noise. Ben is very responsive to messages and very welcoming. A++++
