Powered Caravan site is also grassy and flat with a large area for kids to play. If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access. Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels. Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.) The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!) ** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority. The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops. We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!) **Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. ** Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club. Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club. During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. Undullah-Moore farm nestle beside mt elliot and flinders peak.5 ks as the crow flys Flinders peak is a good attraction for those who like a challenge to get to the top for awesome views of the local area. This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area. Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing . How to get to us? We have two ways in . Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey ! ⸻ Important Notes: • Each site allows ONE vehicle + ONE caravan or camper van or roof top,swags ,tent If you’re visiting with friends or as a group, please make Booking per site we have areas for groups that want to be away from the main open area if you would like this please contact us so We can facilitate private areas for groups. •we have toilet and shower facilities available near the camp kitchen up on top of the hill area and rubbish bin provided on site. Which is 150 mtrs from the main open space area. The camp kitchen area and camp ground can be booked for private functions when available. Fees apply. This area also has free wifi, foxtel large tv for those who like there sports and don’t want to miss the game. phone service is not real good down by the creek some service in locations Only up on the hills phone service is availble and wifi . Telstra/optus Please check when booking to confirm if camp kitchen is booked out Please feel free to send your request if more information is required .

We really enjoyed our camping weekend at Split Yard Creek. Nice quiet peaceful. The hosts came and introduced themselves and then left us to it. Their dogs came and visited a couple of times which I found fine, but just something to be aware of. We are already looking at our calender as th when we can go back for another weekend.

Very peaceful campsite with rural outlook. We actually camped in the grove area, as it was more secluded. The creeks were pretty low, but in winter it was great no insects, the ground was all grass and Kevin the owner was very welcoming.

Loved my 3 nights at Date Palms site. Good directions, drive straight in to camp, level, green grass, no prickles. Secluded from other sites, I could sometimes hear neighbours but couldn’t see them. The whole property is beautifully maintained so it’s a pretty outlook. The host Kevin is very friendly, delivered my pre ordered firewood and told me a bit of history about the farm. There was no flies, mosquitoes or ants. Shame only a little water in the creek. I would love to see it full. Next time I’ll make sure it’s after lots of rain to see the creek maybe half full.

Excellent site! The views are spectacular, ample flat camping spots, toilet is nearby campsites but not close enough to smell. Easy access down to the river to the timber dock for fishing. Will definitely be returning later down the track as a couple again and with friends

Very impressed! Amazing views, private space, the amenities were great and I spoilt for choice of where to set up. Excellent access to the water with the little jetty too. I went for a last minute one nighter to get away but i’m already keen to get back their with a few mates soon.

I loved tent camping at Lake Haigslea with my dog, even though it got down to negative temperatures early morning, we spent the evenings warm around the well established fire pit. Got to experience it all. Amberley air field had jets and planes coming in and out like they’re picking up groceries. RC airplanes putting on a show Sunday morning and the roo families coming through morning and evenings. Too cool for a swim but very tempting. Well kept grassy space and easy to get to with great communication from the host. Would recommend and be back again.
