We offer self contained bush camping, with the campsite on top of a hill with views to the north and west. It's rough and remote with limited facilities, so it's not for everyone. Most people who stay usually fall into one of 2 categories - - 4WD'ers or adventure bike riders who would rather camp overnight in the bush instead of at a caravan park or pub - People who just want a weekend away in the bush with some mates, chilling round a fire with a few drinks If either of those sound like you, we think you'll love it here! There's 2 options to choose from - you can book the campsite only, or the cabin which is located at the same spot. Property features - - Great views - Dogs welcome (just don't let them wander) - Portaloo (flushing) + drop toilet (non flushing) - Shower hut (uses shower bags) - Water available 500m away - Firewood available - Good phone reception (Telstra) - 2WD accessible via Esk or Crow's Nest, 4WD recommended from Blackbutt - We only accept one group at a time, so you'll have the place to yourself The cabin has 12V lighting and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), you'll need to bring your own bedding. A few other notes - - be aware you'll have to drive on gravel roads for quite a distance. 2WD vehicles can get here, but a 4WD is preferable - This is not a 4WD park or a ride park. Vehicles are to be used only on the track to the campsite. - Bring all your usual camping equipment, and if you want to use the shower room please bring a shower bag with you Any questions, just send us a message. Welcome to Duchess Farm Stay, in Nobby QLD.This is a delightful country experience 30 minutes for Toowoomba CBD. Fully self-contained cabin style accommodation. 1 bedroom with a queen bed plus sofa in lounge. The cabin comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, we don't recommend 4 adults inside. There is room for a caravan or a few tents if you would like to make it a family affair (no more than 10 people). Pets are welcome. There's a cosy outdoor fire pit. Wood is $20 (additional cost)The property is privately secluded from the main farm house. Short drive to surrounding towns including Clifton, Leyburn, Warwick, Allora and Greenmount and just 3km to the historic Rudd's Pub and the local store (Merlo coffee). We offer a farm experience for the whole family including feeding the animals - the sheep and goats love to eat out of your hands! Plus there are eggs to collect and general farm life.
