Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We have a range of accommodation including powered and unpowered camp sites, group camp areas, bunk style cabins and a fully self-contained cabin. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

We have a variety of campsites to choose from. Camping is presently basic as we are building it up and is better suited for campers with fully equipped 4WD. Some campsites are more secluded than others, some have toilets and of course great views. The kids will love toasting marshmallows around the campfire in the evenings. Sit back, relax and gaze at the stars. Pets welcome. The property is hilly and may be unsuitable for camper homes. No harming the wildlife, our wildlife is harmless if you do not provoke it or threaten it, Please use water wisely . There are dams and water holes and drains on the property as it is a working farm.

Anduramba Bush Camping is situated on a 320 acre property south of Blackbutt. The campsite is on top of a hill with 360 degree views. It's rough and remote with limited facilities, so it's not for everyone. Most people who stay usually fall into one of 2 categories - - 4WD'ers or adventure bike riders who would rather camp overnight in the bush instead of at a caravan park or pub - People who just want a weekend away in the bush with some mates, chilling round a fire with a few drinks If either of those sound like you, I think you'll love it here! There's 2 options to choose from - you can book the campsite only, or the cabin which is located at the same spot. Property features - - Great views - Dogs welcome (just don't let them wander) - Portaloo (flushing) + drop toilet (non flushing) - Shower hut (uses shower bags) - Water available 500m away - Firewood available - Good phone reception (Telstra) - 2WD accessible via Esk or Crow's Nest, 4WD recommended from Blackbutt - I only accept one group at a time, so you'll have the place to yourself The cabin has 12V lighting and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), you'll need to bring your own bedding. A few other notes - - be aware you'll have to drive on gravel roads for quite a distance. 2WD vehicles can get here, but a 4WD is preferable - This is not a 4WD park or a ride park. Vehicles are to be used only on the track to the campsite. - Bring all your usual camping equipment, and if you want to use the shower room please bring a shower bag with you Any questions, just send us a message. Just an hour from Brisbane, and 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, we are primely located for a quick trip away from the city. This property is perfect for couples to enjoy a romantic getaway or for families to relax and explore the stunning countryside. Our 40 acres of farmland have a collection of heritage horse-drawn implements for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy a glass of wine while the sun goes down. There is something for everyone with plenty to see and do during your stay at Milford Country Cottages. Milford Country Cottages has two accommodation options, Rose Cottage, and Bottle Tree Cottage, plus hectares of land to explore. Great for a romantic weekend for couples. Ideal for families (2 adults, 2 children). Each cottage has been carefully decorated and each has its own character to make you feel at home whilst enjoying a country escape. Both cottages are fully self-contained with all amenities available, including all bed and bathroom linen. They are fully air-conditioned for your comfort and feature two bedrooms: one with a queen-sized bed and the other with twin singles. We also have disabled access at our Rose Cottage with a wheelchair access ramp and widened doorways. Each cottage has parking adjacent to them for easy access and convenience. Check-in is from 2 pm, and check-out is by 10 am (a later check-out can be easily arranged.
