Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Our camping area is down on our creek where there are slashed camp sites suitable for groups of campers or just on your own. You have full use of a shelter complete with pot belly stove and a fire ring provided (byo firewood) You can do birdwatching, yabbying, swimming in the waterhole (seasonal) picnicking and general exploring around the creek area. There are no people nearby and you will feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere (but are just 25mins from Toowoomba). We are a cattle property so you will see cows and calves and horses on your way to the camp sites. Because of this and bio security, there is no 4WDriving around the property but you are welcome to explore the creek area on foot. Plenty of wildlife to spot - wallabies, kangaroos, bird life and the occasional koala. In the creek there are some fish, yabbies and turtles. Set up camp, enjoy stunning sunsets, peace and quiet and the privacy of the secluded camp sites. Our location is perfect if you are first time campers or want to try out a new set up without venturing too far from home. 25mins drive will get you back to Toowoomba CBD. We are on black soil so our access road to the creek is dry weather only but is accessible by 2WD that have reasonable clearance. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD! The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access. Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Firewood is available as an 'extra' for $20, please go to 'extras' to add to your booking alterantively purchase on arrival. Power (10amp) and drinkable water is available close to campsite. Our camping area is down on our creek where there are slashed camp sites suitable for groups of campers or just on your own. You have full use of a shelter complete with pot belly stove and a fire ring provided (byo firewood) You can do birdwatching, yabbying, swimming in the waterhole (seasonal) picnicking and general exploring around the creek area. There are no people nearby and you will feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere (but are just 25mins from Toowoomba). We are a cattle property so you will see cows and calves and horses on your way to the camp sites. Because of this and bio security, there is no 4WDriving around the property but you are welcome to explore the creek area on foot. Plenty of wildlife to spot - wallabies, kangaroos, bird life and the occasional koala. In the creek there are some fish, yabbies and turtles. Set up camp, enjoy stunning sunsets, peace and quiet and the privacy of the secluded camp sites. Our location is perfect if you are first time campers or want to try out a new set up without venturing too far from home. 25mins drive will get you back to Toowoomba CBD. We are on black soil so our access road to the creek is dry weather only but is accessible by 2WD that have reasonable clearance. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. Directions and communication were clear. Price was good. Surrounds were beautiful. Fire pits for each site and options on where to camp within each site were good too. It was peaceful. Pretty. Inviting. I would stay here again for sure! The goat curry was so yumm and good help when I made enquiries about my food intolerances. I got to camp in a thunderstorm and the place was even more beautiful the morning after. There was one goat who was very friendly and I enjoyed watching the shaggy cows stand in the creek and the kids chase each other up the banks. This was a very good experience

Felt extremely welcomed by Tony who greeted us on arrival and escorted us to our site. The site itself was beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a site closest to the water, falling asleep to the sound of flowing water was lovely. The weather turned quickly on our day of departure and the track became tricky but Tony was amazing and gave us a hand. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.

Sensational site with a fantastic host. We stayed down at the bottom of the property near the creek and had a really nice time. There was some complementary firewood and plenty of privacy. Tony met us at the gate and even took some of our group and gear down in the Polaris. We’ll be sure to come back here in the future to try the hilltop sites. Note: 4wd definitely required

Such a beautiful location with fantastic views! The horses just added that extra farm stay touch and made you feel like such a part of nature. We were unlucky enough to get caught in some big storms but the property was so well maintained it didnt affect us at all and no issues getting the caravan in and out. It was very windy though so don't make the same mistake we did by putting the awning out if the weather isn't 100%! Overall very private and relaxing location and only 10 minutes out from Dayborough. Will definitely be back.

My family loved camping at Gleneden farm. We had a fantastic experience at Bullockies campsite for 2 nights (despite the rain)! Our little toddler grandbaby enjoyed seeing the chicks, piglets (who are free range around the property), the horses who are absolutely majestic and friendly, and love a good nose scratch, and the beautiful bullocks. We had some lovely evenings around the campfire, which is the perfect end of the day. Also I need to mention a lovely lunch at the local Maryvale pub, live music when we went there, sensational. Overall we would love to go back if we have the opportunity.

They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

This beautiful 200-acre property is the perfect place to get away from it all. We have a hilltop area where you can view the sunrise from the east and the sunset in the west, with absolutely no light pollution. On a clear night, the galaxy is astounding to view. The property has multiple areas of creek frontage with both kid and adult-friendly swimming areas. Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. We have 4 private campsites located near a dam for your enjoyment.  Relax, unwind and listen to nature. There is the good mix of shade provided by trees as well as open sunny areas. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own toilet, shower, and water. (There are no facilities on site) Large open area for outdoor activities. Pets welcome however must remain on leash at all times. Not to chase horses or wildlife.  *Please notify us if bringing a dog*  Please note, we are an active hobby farm and as such you may hear the tractor etc in the distance as we do odd jobs around the farm. Please do not feed the horses as some have strict dietary requirements. Please leave the campsite as you found it for the next camper. Fires permitted in fire-rings provided or in an above ground firepit. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. Free firewood to collect and use in firepit provided. No parties or large gatherings, but happy for small family groups. Perfect location for a quick weekend getaway from the city. Only 40 minutes from Brisbane and a short distance off the Warrego Highway.   Things to do - Fishing  - Kayak or Swimming in the dam is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks - The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions.  - Follow the walking trails for bush walks to spot the wallabies, kangaroos and some beautiful birdlife. - Kids can ride their bicycles along the trails. - Ewenique hobby farm is located roughly 500m up the road, great animal farm for kids to enjoy.  - Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports
