Our five acre property on the edge of the Great Dividing Range escarpment is just 10-15 minutes from the Toowoomba CBD. Your camp spot is a flat, grassy field with fantastic views and privately located on the block next to but away from the main house. Access is just off the road and down a slight grassy slope - suitable for 4WDs and most off road caravans or camper trailers. All guests must be fully self- contained with shower, water and toilet facilities. There is a tap with fresh rainwater which can be used for boiling the kettle, washing up etc (dependent on property water levels as we are completely tank water reliant). Please take all rubbish with you. We welcome your furkids - but please keep them on leash at all times for their safety as we are close to a road and also have our own dogs who can get a bit barky when strangers approach. PLEASE NOTE: Access to our site can be weather dependent. Man, I don't know if I should write this review. Honestly this is a hidden gem for visiting Toowoomba and I'm afraid if I review it honestly, it will become to popular...... Anyway, mum always told me to be honest so here goes. If you are self sufficient (Have your own Toilet/Shower) looking to visit Toowoomba, then this by far is probably the best and cheapest option. Located just outside the city (Technically you could say it's within the city limits) this bush camp setting is perfect for those who like an actual campsite and not a patch of grass with a slab of cement. Plus you can actually have a camp fire with the provided pits. There are approximately 5 sort of leveled sites for you to pick, but even if the place was booked out (only 5 sites available) you would hear your neighbors as they would be at least 30-40 meters away. In regards to needing a 4wd, there's a bit of a steep grassy hill to get to the sites, but you'll be fine unless it's been raining. Now if I had to say one "bad thing" it would be yes, you are next to a main road and highway, which means there can be a little bit of road noise, but hello, your camping in a town, there's going to be noise anyway! Again it's not a deal breaker by any means and overnight it definitely dies down to the occasional truck. So again, if you want a great place to stay and check out Toowoomba, this is the place to base your stay from, no questions asked book now before they book out.

Was a great spot to camp. Scenic, and the hosts were really friendly. Super close to rbisbane Towed a 6x4 camper trailer up the hill and will definitely need a 4Wd. Overall I would say towing is ok up the hill there were other trailers there. Unbeatable views

Such a great time camping at Echoes in the Valley! Geoffrey is a great host, had fun chilling at the common area, meeting the camels, birds, and other animals, and having an off grid camp. Highly recommended, and I’ll be revisiting if I’m in the area again soon!

Nice beautiful quiet campsites and stunning sunset views. The owner is an amazing bloke, funny with his stories and when you live on land; "make sure you got plenty of tyres and batteries" - owner. We will definitely be back!

Lovely grassy spot with great views. Enjoyed our fire watching it get dark and seeing the lights over Toowoomba after dark. There was a fair bit of road noise but this did not bother us or wake us during the night. Easy to find. Would recommend.

A little difficult to find, some signage wouldn’t go astray. Otherwise was a nice place to stay. Bit of road noise (we were in a camper trailer) and sites are not individually signed but fairly easy to determine. Would be difficult in the dark though. Beautiful view and nice mowed green grassy sites. Individual fire pits on some of the sites.

Beautiful quiet spot best for self-contained camping. The trees are a little higher now so part of the view is covered, but you can still experience a gorgeous sunset and sunrise amongst the birds. Recommend bringing mosquito spray since there were one or two around. Thank you Francine & team for the lovely night!

Great spot! Spent 3 nights. Very convenient to Highfields/north Toowoomba. Katie was fantastic and very communicative and responsive. Views east toward Lockyer Valley were stunning!

I stayed at the cosy camp and it had a stellar view, good firepit and some great level spots. The raw honey was excellent too Hosts were like lovely, and everything was easy to find. Recommend for a bit of astrophotography.
