Man, I don't know if I should write this review. Honestly this is a hidden gem for visiting Toowoomba and I'm afraid if I review it honestly, it will become to popular...... Anyway, mum always told me to be honest so here goes. If you are self sufficient (Have your own Toilet/Shower) looking to visit Toowoomba, then this by far is probably the best and cheapest option. Located just outside the city (Technically you could say it's within the city limits) this bush camp setting is perfect for those who like an actual campsite and not a patch of grass with a slab of cement. Plus you can actually have a camp fire with the provided pits. There are approximately 5 sort of leveled sites for you to pick, but even if the place was booked out (only 5 sites available) you would hear your neighbors as they would be at least 30-40 meters away. In regards to needing a 4wd, there's a bit of a steep grassy hill to get to the sites, but you'll be fine unless it's been raining. Now if I had to say one "bad thing" it would be yes, you are next to a main road and highway, which means there can be a little bit of road noise, but hello, your camping in a town, there's going to be noise anyway! Again it's not a deal breaker by any means and overnight it definitely dies down to the occasional truck. So again, if you want a great place to stay and check out Toowoomba, this is the place to base your stay from, no questions asked book now before they book out.

Lovely grassy spot with great views. Enjoyed our fire watching it get dark and seeing the lights over Toowoomba after dark. There was a fair bit of road noise but this did not bother us or wake us during the night. Easy to find. Would recommend.

A little difficult to find, some signage wouldn’t go astray. Otherwise was a nice place to stay. Bit of road noise (we were in a camper trailer) and sites are not individually signed but fairly easy to determine. Would be difficult in the dark though. Beautiful view and nice mowed green grassy sites. Individual fire pits on some of the sites.

Lovely outlook and good communication from host, but the highway noise was an issue for us and not conducive to enjoying the outlook.
Handy location to Toowoomba and if traffic noise is just white noise for you then this location will suit for your stay.
Grass had not been mowed or slashed in quite a while, but we didn’t do any walking around so it didn’t bother us. In warmer weather you would want short maintained grass.

Great spot! Spent 3 nights. Very convenient to Highfields/north Toowoomba.
Katie was fantastic and very communicative and responsive.

Great spot, nice view, had the camp ground all to ourselves. Next to a main road but not noisy at all.

The camp site itself was flat and nicely positioned with the surrounding ground sloping. This allowed us to position our small van to have great views over the valley and enough flat space to set up chairs etc. Camp sites were fairly close, but spaced far enough away for privacy and not to restrict views etc. We were the only one's there and spent a couple of nights. The site is close to town but also close to main roads, so there is some road noise. The site was mowed and well maintained. A drum facilitated as a fire pit.

Lovely wide open area on a hill, with a lovely view down to the town. Plenty of firewood to collect which was fabulous on our cold nights stay. It is right next to the highway, you can see the cars, and hear them. But it wasn’t a big deal for us given the proximity to the city centre was great, so convenient.
