Somerset Dam is 40minutes away and you are able to use your own motorised equipment there. We are more expensive per person than other camp sites. We don’t charge for pets, nor do we charge to use our 6 onsite canoes, nor do we charge extra for hot showers or rubbish removal, we have guest wifi. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues. I have a 2wd and drive in and out multiple times per day. Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. Other Things to Note Access to the property involves crossing a dip ( at the moment the continual rain has washed some of the dip soil at the base so it is a bit d lower, low clearance vans maybe not suited) and a causeway . This track is almost always accessible by 2WD. Contact us regarding crossing conditions and wet weather access before your stay. Toilet facilities are not available and bush toilets are NOT permitted. Campers must bring their own camping toilets and take all waste when they go. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits, based on weather conditions. Firewood is available for $15.per bag this is in the shade shelter with the fire pits if there isn't one at your site. We would appreciate if you could return your bags pls. Generators are permitted, we ask that these are turned off by 8pm for the comfort of other guests and our neighbours across the river.

One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.

Our site is located just 5 minutes away from Toogoolawah Town and is situated on 40 acres of beautiful and lush bushland. Multiple sites are available, all of which follow alongside a picturesque creek that runs throughout the property. We offer a spacious and flat grassy area to park your van after a long day of driving. Our campsite is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the quiet and tranquil surroundings while taking in a beautiful sunset, surrounded by an abundance of birdlife. Town is a short 5 minute drive with an IGA, Pub, Cafe, Service Station, Water Station and Dump site. Access to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and only a short drive to Somerset Dam. Check out times. 10 am - unless advised. The Chookhouse is situated approximately 20 minutes south of Toowoomba on 23 acres. Please note that there are other dogs and animals long our road. We also have grain trains that pass by throughout the day and night. When you are travelling on Shepperd Road look for our "Chookhouse Farm" sign and a chook mailbox, that is the driveway you need to take. LONG TERM RENTALS We can also accommodate long term rentals. Please contact us for further information. If possible, we would prefer self-contained set ups; however not essential. AMENITIES Uni-sex amenity block with hot water and flushing toilets for those booked in Pepperina. Top Paddock power, Top Paddock unpowered and Paddock Camp we have gas showers (preset temperature for the safety of children). It will not be a hot shower like you have at home, however you will get clean. There are also pit toilets in the camp areas. In each camp area we have 3 x rubbish bins. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HAVE DRINKING WATER AVAILABLE. WE DO NOT HAVE WATER TO FILL YOUR CARAVAN. Plenty of room for self-contained caravans/motorhomes and places to pitch a tent or camper. National Parks, walking trails, Wineries, Gourmet Pubs and Restaurants, Markets, two magnificent parks with play areas for children and so many other points of interest to see and discover. So many animals here! You get to meet camels, cows, pigs, alpacas, Boer goats Dorper Sheep, a multitude of chickens, geese, peacocks and guinea fowl. Miss Piggy loves posing for the camera. Sit under the stars and toast your marshmallows by your fire pit. Safe place to leave your gear while out exploring the Darling Downs and surrounds. Being in a rural area we have strict guidelines for campfires. We follow all Local Government guidelines and the QFS. No blazing fires, all fires to be extinguished at night, no coals or ash to be left under trees or on the grass. We will pick up each morning coals and ash if required.
