Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced towing in steep and tight off road conditions. No caravans or Hybrids, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure, max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag. Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊‍♂️ There is plenty to explore in the area, including: 🏞 Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) 🐃 Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) ☕️ Lovely cafes in Crows Nest (eg. 4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Come and Camp at Noosa Equestrian Centre, a 188 acre property in the heart of the Noosa regions, with lush greenery and a peaceful tree lined creek. The perfect campsite for relaxing days spent in the beautiful hinterland, with Noosa beaches and shops just over the hill. The property offers 80 powered sites and 100 unpowered sites, at various locations around the property, some closer to the creek-line than others. All sites are ideal for pulling up stumps for a few days or more, enjoying the stunning, peaceful property and exploring the wider area. All campers have access the the amenities blocks (hot showers and flushing toilets!), located a couple of hundred metres from camp, depending where you set up, as well as a dump point for those who are self-contained. At this time, whilst campfires are permitted, you must bring your own firepit/brazier or similar and it must be elevated from the ground. Firewood BYO. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead - we have many horses around! Sites will be allocated on arrival in discussion with you, based on your set up.

Fnq blooms is a Tropical flower Farm. The 52 acre property is situated at the foothills of Queensland's tallest mountain, Mount Bartle Frere standing at 1622mt. Camp creek-side at FNQ Blooms, Campers will love exploring the crystal-clear creeks and waterfall on the farm. Camp site is a large grass area next to pristine rainforest creek, plenty of room to have friends camp with you. Set up, sit back and watch the Ulysses Butterflys fly by or Kingfishers duck and weave though the creek or just watch the jungle perch swim by while sitting in the creek with a cold one. On our Farm, we grow an extensive variety of Tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower Industry as well as Vanilla in our shade house for food products your welcome to learn about the farm and its operations. Weekend Trip to Echoes in the Valley Gatton Qld

My family loved camping at Echoes - our site was sheltered, private and had beautiful views. The walk up the hill rewards you with amazing views of the valley. Kids loved exploring and encounters with the wildlife inc cows, wallabies and Geoffrey’s friendly parrot, Abigail. Hosts Geoffrey and Francine were so wonderful - Geoffrey, kids want you to know they loved the dragon fruit you kindly gave them on our way out! Would highly recommend; a terrific camping spot.

Weekend Trip to Hope Valley

Lovely long weekend stay. Great spot! Private. Lots of trees. Visiting horses. Big fire pit. Very useful covered seating area! You do have to have the ability to walk back up the steep hill if you want to go down to the creek. Or drive. Definitely need a 4x4. The creek is small but lovely. One tip…. Don’t leave food out on benches or on the floor of the cabin or you will find little nibbles. No great bother though.. Thanks for sharing your property!! Vey nice.

I’m a camper but Habitat Noosa made this the easiest camp I’ve been on in a long time. All that is needed is provided, beds and bed linen, somewhere to stow your stuff and lock away valuables, clean bathrooms and a kitchen with a large fridge-no ice or solar mats. You’re in a melaleuca forest clearing, by the lake and gorgeous birdsong. Kangaroos and other wild life making appearances every so often.

The cottage has been done so thoughtfully with lots of lovely touches & the kitchen is better equipped than ours. Miniature perfection :) The location is outstanding - so many stars at night, lots of birds - and a python. (No fish though) We saw the two lambs being born & have christened them Larry (white & black) & Lazarus (black with white tail), Lazza for short. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Perfect country river retreat setup. Cosy cabin with all the right views and feels. Fully equipped to accommodate every aspect of a country getaway from a well set country cabin that ticks all the boxes. It’s the small thought out finishes and touches that were well appreciated. With the river right there the kids were kept entertained and busy for days with fishing, swimming, kayaking and boating. A very well maintained retreat that will see us back again soon.

We usually have our own set up but, due to an eye operation, we had to use a glamping site over Easter. Given that we have never used this form of camping before we have nothing to compare with. Needless to say, everything was well set out and very comfortable and private. Plenty of walking tracks in the area, and close enough to town to head in for lunch/dinner if required. Very peaceful and relaxing, highly recommended!
