Come say g'day to our camel Garfunkel (who loves carrots and leafy vegetables) or pat one of our friendly cows. Our property is 4WD access only. In wet weather it is highly recommended to have mud tyres and recovery gear. Tracks to the ridge sites can be rough at times. Most sites on our 340 acre property are on the ridge with views, so bring your camera. The sites are mostly level and mowed. Suitable only for campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower amenities and drinking water supply. We are located 45 mins from Brisbane city and 10 mins to Coles and BWS for all your supply needs. Dogs are very welcome but please do not allow to chase stock or wildlife. See you soon!

Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Due to our extended and continuous wet weather , we have currently reduced our availability to between 4 and 7 sites only, and to 4WD accessibility only, unless you book the Dam , we ask our campers to minimise driving on the property. If wet, please engage 4WD and stay out of the ruts. As much as we would love to fix the roads, due to the wet we just haven't had the right conditions at the right time to do so. It you want to drive to the Dam from Didjabringyabeeralong, the Black Stump or Dolittle, you can drive out gate 3 turn right and come back in gate 4, or you are more than welcome to WALK the internal roads We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Please check that you are ok with our property rules before you book. If you are one of our valued regulars, thank you, we love hosting you on the property and always look forward to see you again. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we may have an alternative for you:) Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire is fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbours. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are welcome to have a campfire when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in 4WD or 2WD access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and there are floating noodles for your use during the summer months. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains, Stoney creek, Rocky holes, Bribie island, Woodford, Mt Mee, Montville, Maleny and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, servo, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. There is world class mountain biking trails accessible across the road from our property. You can also enjoy a beautiful nature walk up to the summit of Mount Cotton which has breathtaking views out to Moreton bay and to the Glass House Mountains. Your hosts recommend taking a picnic lunch and making the most of your time at the top. We are 15 minutes drive from the Venman Bushland National Park which has two excellent walking trails where you can spot a huge array of wildlife. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic, has more great mountain bike trails, BBQ area and beautiful walking tracks. We are also close to Sirromet Winery which is great for wine tasting and sometimes has great events on. Campfires are permitted but must be kept in a fire pit/drum and must be outside of restrictions. Pets are welcome. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as at 16 April 2024: Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Kobble Creek West is readily accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting you. At this time (April 2024) the creek has been flowing and the lagoon is refreshed. Without further rains it will return to being generally dry but will flow with heavy downpours in the D’aguilar Ranges. Explore the trails by bike, or check out the hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek West which borders the property, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. This enables us to site you appropriately. NOTE: Each site has a stand alone camping toilet bucket, located behind a small shade cloth screen near your camp site. You’ll have a seat to sit on, a lid to close, and the need to throw some Leaves and grass in each time you go.

Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. In wet weather it is highly recommended to have mud tyres and recovery gear. Tracks to the ridge sites can be rough at times. Most sites on our 340 acre property are on the ridge with views, so bring your camera. The sites are mostly level and mowed. Suitable only for campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower amenities and drinking water supply. We are located 45 mins from Brisbane city and 10 mins to Coles and BWS for all your supply needs. Dogs are very welcome but please do not allow to chase stock or wildlife. See you soon!

There is world class mountain biking trails accessible across the road from our property. You can also enjoy a beautiful nature walk up to the summit of Mount Cotton which has breathtaking views out to Moreton bay and to the Glass House Mountains. Your hosts recommend taking a picnic lunch and making the most of your time at the top. We are 15 minutes drive from the Venman Bushland National Park which has two excellent walking trails where you can spot a huge array of wildlife. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic, has more great mountain bike trails, BBQ area and beautiful walking tracks. We are also close to Sirromet Winery which is great for wine tasting and sometimes has great events on. Campfires are permitted but must be kept in a fire pit/drum and must be outside of restrictions. Pets are welcome. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Please take all waste with you on departure. Note - absolutely no trespassing is to be tolerated, stay behind the rocks and fences and have a lovely stay .
