An initial supply of firewood will be provided. There is no water or power throughout these camping areas, hence they are only suitable for "fully self contained" motor homes and caravans. Apart from humans, dogs and cats, the property is inhabited by kangaroos and a variety of birdlife. The small township of Buxton is home to a mixture of permanent residents and holiday homes. There is one general store which sells most consumables, including alcohol. They also serve up meals every Wednesday. Buxton has a great little boat ramp on the Isis River which provides easy access for river fishing or to the Coral Sea for ocean fishing.
